And more humor once again, Enjoy
Hi
I'm back from walking again and no cents. The temperature this morning was 15 on the porch and 18 on the cable news channel, That is lower than yesterdays temps.
The snow in the forecast yesterday was forecast to be 1 to 3 inches of a heavy wet snowfall. What we ended up with was less than an inch and more than a coating. Most of it melted away by 2PM.

Good morning.
I was up early too, but didn't want to get out of bed!
Hope you stay well, Roger!
Stay safe and warm, Jo.
Irene...wow! almost done.
We had a dusting of snow overnight. It's 20 and cloudy here, not very inviting to go out. I'll see how I feel later.
Happy Wednesday, everyone.
Hi Vix
To honor the Cold outside I used Thermal Underwear and for the upper half I had two Sweatshirts and the Hoodie with the Hood Tied shut around my face.
When walking I noticed that my block on my side was pretty clear of the snow and strangely enough to me the next block the yards were snow covered. Some parts of the sidewalks I used had areas of flat ice where the snow had melted and then frozen overnight. In those areas I was able to walk to one side on the snowy grass to have safe footing. I would have been happy with a Dusting
Have a Nice Day
RogerIreneMurman wrote: »Good morning, well we are getting snow now it looks like just a dusting. We did go out and walked we did extra today I ended doing 1 hr and 40 minutes it was like a light drizzle but I had a rain coat on and it was almost 40 outside . As far as the painting almost done in the computer room one little corner is left than on to the laundry room not in a hurry to get that room done it already has carpeting in there so we won't be replacing it. Take care all and stay dry. Roger hope you don't get sick!
Hi Irene
It did seem form the news broadcasts that the Northwest part of NJ got the worst of it yesterday. Either You got out earlier than I did as my drizzle turned to snow before I got back home or it turned to snow later in the day for You.
I'm guessing You will be putting a tarp over the rug while painting the Laundry Room ?
I'm hoping not to get sick too, hence the Flu shot while I am still OK. Last year was weird as it was the first year since at least the 90s that I became sick, twice. It could I suppose be a sign I'm getting olderI went through 16 years of 53 hour weeks working as a technician / Salesman dealing with the Public and never became sick.
I did wear the rain jacket Wednesday and wished I had worn the Rain pants that go with the jacket. My left shoulder was sore yesterday due to getting a Flu Shot at the Pharmacy. I went that direction and picked up my brothers refills and a Flu Shot for myself, Hopefully in time to avoid or shorten the duration of any Flu. He went the other way for a Nutritionist appointment, He sounded better yesterday morning and then by evening likely due to getting out he sounded worse once again.
Wish Me Luck Avoiding the Flu

I also started putting up the curtains in the living room and dinning room looks really nice . I did start in the laundry room doing windows first so this way I can put the blinds back up .It is so nice to all most be done after laundry room I just have the window in the kitchen and in the sun room. Roger I always get a flu shot I did get mine a couple of months ago. Hi Vix and Jo0

Happy Thursday, everyone.0 -
Good evening;
Irene-congratulations on getting your painting done.
Vix-No bigwigs, yesterday. Their flight was cancelled.
Roger- You beat me in found money for last year.
We got about an inch of snow. I shoveled the driveway and front walk when I got home from work. It was pretty light snow and I mostly pushed it to the side of the driveway.
Enjoy your evening.0 -

Hi Irene
It was just as cold this morning as it was yesterday here. The forecasts I saw yesterday were way off in the overnight lows. It was a lot colder this morning than what they predicted
This is the first year I have gotten a flu shot in many, many years
I'm sure it feels good to be nearly done with the painting and be on the home stretch.

I did shovel the snow Wednesday such as it was and I probably wasted my time as it pretty much melted away even where not cleared.

Good morning, well I think I am going to just take the day off feeling really tired. I finally got a plumper that fixed the pipe in the basement and unplugged it he did say there is roots at the other end so on Monday another guy will come with the camera and see how far out to the road it goes. We will probably replace it knowing down the line it can cause problems we don't want to sale the house knowing some thing is wrong we wouldn't that done to us.But for good news is we walked this morning a little over an hour and I got my steps in. So take care can't wait till March when we put the house up for sale.0

Just curious, Live or frozen ? That is a decent price especially compared to what a lot of cuts of beef are selling for these days.

Hi Vix
Congratulations for him on buying house.
I need to get back to decluttering too, Clutter has been building up since the last time I did it.
Here is a Question, I have a Plastic Bin full of what I think of as Craft items left from Mom and I hate to just throw them out. Any ideas what I can do with them ?
Today being Monday it is time to buckle down back to working on losing weight again.
Yesterday I did not do good either, I was in a local Italian Deli and Asked for a small size of the Meat Lasagna and two of the Italian Breaded Chicken Breast Fillets and when I got home what I had was at least 3 or 4 times the Lasagna and three of the Chicken Fillets. I did use two of the Fillets in sandwiches as Lunch, tasty too and 1/2 of the Lasagna and the third fillet for dinner. I am retaining water again and the scale said, hmm... 3/4 of a pound weight gain since yesterday morningSo back to 100% NS plan once again.

Hi Joanne
Corned Beef and Mustard is a traditional sandwich too. I do like using Thousand Island dressing as a sandwich spread on Chicken, Burgers, the NS Meatloaf sandwich. My brother tells me that was the original use of it before it became a salad dressing. It is tasty with Corned Beef on Rye too FWIW.
My left shoulder still has some pain from the Flu shot, it has been days, when will that abate I wonder.

good morning, Roger when we walked at 3 am the road looked wet from rain not sure when it rained but it was some time overnight . Hi Jo and Vix hey Roger how about taking the craft stuff to an senior citizen club the do a lot of crafts.0

Good morning.
I too was going to recommend taking the craft items to a Senior Center. They usually take donations, and have craft groups. Some make things and donate them to hospitals, so in a way it's double giving.
It's warm here too, though cloudy, mid 50s now, forecast to hit 60 today. Rain tomorrow...maybe it will wash some of the salt off my car!
Thanks, Roger...pretty exciting when the kids are all grown up.

Good morning, Vix I am sure you are really happy that your son is only going to be 30 minutes away tell congrats on the new home. Well I have some happy news we don't have to pay to fix the pipe . The city is responsible to fix it because it is in the middle of the road where the problem is. So George is going to stop by today at there office and let them know, it was really neat seeing everything threw the camera. So glad we didn't have to pay for all that. Not only that I was afraid they would have to rip up my side walks out front. Our walk this morning was nice loving the warmer temps I also found a nickel it was by the Debora hospital .Well I have a check up with the Dr today nothing wrong just making sure it stays that way. I am waiting until I have everything done then I will get rid of all the stuff at one time take care. It just started to rain here0

It just started to rain here
You are lucky with the sewer problem. has it ever backed up into the house ? What a stinky, smelly, mess that is, Don't ask how I know
