You may want to watch the moon on Jan 31:
Residents of the western United States, Alaska and Hawaii will have the best chance to see the full lunar eclipse.

For those in the eastern U.S., the eclipse will begin at 5:51 a.m. on Jan. 31. Because the sun rises just 16 minutes later, they'll only be able to see the beginnings of the eclipse.

Further west, stargazers will be able to see more of the eclipse. People in Hawaii, Alaska and on the West Coast will have the best chance to view the eclipse in its entirety, weather permitting. The partial eclipse will begin at 3:48 a.m. on the West Coast, with the total eclipse beginning at 4:51 a.m. and ending at 5:29 a.m.

It is also a Blue Moon (second full moon of the month) and a Super Moon (appears larger because it is at it's closest point to earth).

Interesting about the time restricted eating. I used to do that, naturally.

    Hi Vix
I had posted a link for that a few days back :) Thanks for reminding me, it had slipped my mind. Since we are all east coast types the best we get at the rarer triple eclipse is a partial :( Oh well.

If I said I never did it naturally or on purpose before now...

    Good morning;
Hope everyone had a good weekend.
I went for a hike with my daughter on Saturday, got in over 21,000 steps. On Sunday I cleaned out a few closets. Today I am cleaning the kitchen and upstairs bathroom and doing laundry.
Roger-congrats on finding 15 cents. I found 1 cent on Sat.
Irene-Saturday was a great day for a nice long walk.
Vix-thanks for the reminder about the eclipse. I am usually up way before the start time, so I hope I can see it.
    Have a great day. :)

    Hi
I'm back from walking again and No cents. The temperature this morning was 40 on the porch and 39 on the cable news channel, lower than yesterday.
The scale was lower than yesterday morning, again, It seems that the "Time-restricted eating" combined with a 100% NS plan is still working well so far.

It is a good thing that I was not looking for the eclipse this morning as I have a cloud cover. Hopefully tomorrow will be a clear sky even though that usually means colder overnight temperatures.

I'm guessing no work today if You are doing all that ?

good morning, empire has come and we ordered our carpeting they will come Friday and put it down. It was the same lady that helped us a year ago in Browns Mills so she gave us her discount we ended getting the better carpet and padding it is going to be so nice. So today I am doing the paint touch ups that need to be done before the carpet is put down. We ended both days with 2 hour walks but Jo you got more steps in than I did, My steps were about 16,000 each day. Vix hope you enjoyed your massage. Roger on our walk this morning it was cloudy.

    Hi
I'm back from walking again and No cents. The temperature this morning was 33 on the porch and 31 on the cable news channel, lower than yesterday. The snow from the yesterday's forecast did arrive overnight and had stopped by the time I left for my walk. This mornings forecast shows more snow arriving later today.

    Hi Irene
How is Your weather today, I suspect from the weather report I saw this morning that You may have had more snow than I. There was enough snow to turn the grass, cars and trees Pretty, The roads and Sidewalks were only wet so walking was OK.
As I look around I can which houses have good insulation in the attic and who does not.

Good Morning, we only went for a 45 minute walk George wanted to leave early because of the snow but the roads were all clear but I did still get 5k steps in so I am happy with that. George did have time to take our bed apart so now we can take it up to browns mills and for the time being we will put it in the basement in time we want to make a bedroom down stairs but that is in the future . Today I plan on cleaning and making sure we have all of our stuff is out of the rooms that we will be putting new carpet down. Take care all

    Hi Irene
The roads were OK here too, I had looked out the Living room window to determine what type of footwear I would be wearing. On clear roads and sidewalks I just wear my normal walking shoes that have shallow pattern on the sole, If things are snow covered or it is really cold I put on the insulated half rubber boot, half Leather boot which has a much deeper pattern on the sole for increased traction and warmth. Since the snow had ceases I did not bother with the rain gear either.

Are You planning to have a Guest bedroom in Browns Mills ?

Good Luck and a speedy finish to the cleaning

Good Morning, The moon was awesome normally I would use a flashlight but the moon was so bright I didn't need to use one. Roger when we finish the basement we will put a guest bedroom downstairs but it is going to be awhile I have a lot of stuff I still need to get rid of. In time it will be done. Today I just plan on doing some cleaning here in Browns Mills I already have the sheets from the bed in the dryer .So my big plans are to dust and vacuum but tomorrow I will be back to Trenton to straight up stuff and make sure all my boxes are in a room out of there way I know they move furniture but I just want to make it as easy as possible for them. Vix I am with you cleaning out closets are not my favorite thing to do but I am happy to say most of mine in Trenton are empty tomorrow I will clean out George's closet in the computer room. Hi Irene
I agree, The moon was bright enough that I was casting a shadow :) I do not carry a flashlight, There are enough streetlights here in town and between them and the headlights of cars & trucks that is adequate lighting.

I was wondering if they moved things out of the way, We did have Stanley Steamer in to clean the carpets and they did a great job of moving things out of the way and putting them back. We had the Living Room Window, Actually a Picture window with two flanking windows replace by Anderson and they left the place immaculate, in contrast to the local contractor that replace the Back Door and Front Door and the two Attic Windows. All of those changes did help with comfort however.

    Have a Good Day

The sky is overcast and there is a light precipitation Falling. The weather forecasts were for rain overnight changing to snow and then as the temperatures keep falling through the day to become icy. The HyVee at 82 sounds right having been in some of them in the past, CostCo at 85, I wonder how much that is influenced by Price? Trader Joes at 86, They seem to be smaller stores and the nearby one stays busy.

Good Morning, Vix I am so sorry about your MIL sending prayers. Well we rescheduled our apt with empire they didn't have the carpet from the vender yet which was fine it gives me more time to have everything ready. They do move furniture so now I will go threw each room and make sure all my painting is done and I will do touch ups if it is needed. Don't want to have to do anything with paint after the carpet is put down. It was raining on our walk this morning we only went about 40 minutes but now it is snowing . I see we are going to have 6 more weeks of winter. oh well I am looking forward to spring Jo do you like the early shift? hey Roger stay dry on your walk

    Good morning.
    Thanks, Irene.
It rained last night, but so far, it's cold, windy and partly sunny here today. High of only 25 expected.
No plans for today. Just need to go to the library.
    Stupid groundhog.

Well I did post more humor

    Hi
I'm back from walking again and 1 cent. The temperature this morning was 14 on the porch and 16 on the cable news channel, A fair bit colder than yesterday. The light precipitation that was falling never amounted to anything beyond ice on the windows that looked like rain drops around here. The trip to the Eye doctor where both my Brother and I had appointments for this morning was speedy and uneventful. The roads and sidewalks were dry. OTOH there was the occasional car or pickup truck that had a fair amount of snow on the roads and parking lots that must have come from somewhere that did get snow.

There is a possibility of Rain or Snow or a a mix that the forecast was saying could keep going back and forth during the fall.

The Actual Groundhog Day was good, The Eye Exam went well. No Glaucoma and what was described as only a small change in the prescription for glasses. I am hoping that I can get the same model frame as these are the most comfortable I have ever had.

The News showed that Punxsutawney Phil predicted 6 more weeks of winter. whereas Staten Island Chuck predicted an Early Spring :)

Staten Island Chuck predicts early spring on Groundhog Day

We stopped at the ShopRite on the way home where I stocked up on discounted Deli products from the bargain Refrigerator, Typically 30% to 50% off. I shall be using the Bargain lunch meats as a part of my Mid Morning snack once I have used more of the Hard Boiled Eggs. Roasted Chicken Breast, Roasted Ham and Italian Roast Beef. And some other meats to use as Proteins with my meals. Currently all residing in the Freezer Section :)

The scale was nicely lower than yesterday morning, again, It seems that the "Time-restricted eating" combined with a 100% NS plan is working really well so far. Whee

Good Morning, Vix I am so sorry about your MIL sending prayers. Well we rescheduled our apt with empire they didn't have the carpet from the vendor yet which was fine it gives me more time to have everything ready. They do move furniture so now I will go threw each room and make sure all my painting is done and I will do touch ups if it is needed. Don't want to have to do anything with paint after the carpet is put down. It was raining on our walk this morning we only went about 40 minutes but now it is snowing . Hi Irene
That is disappointing news, I would not think they would sell something they did not have in their warehouse :(
Getting any painting finished first makes sense to me.

The 6 weeks of winter depends on if You believe the Pennsylvania Groundhog or the Staten island groundhog :)

As far as Rain or snow Friday morning, I did see some light flakes drifting down when I looked up into the cone of light from the street lights, It never accumulated on the sidewalks or roads around here. The most I saw as a bit on vehicles. I wore the Rain Jacket Friday while walking, It was not really needed however.

I'm looking for a early spring too, OTOH February is usually the worst month so.... I am also hoping for a extra long spring and fall this year with comfortable summer temperatures. The last Gas & Electric bill was the highest I can remember at over $400 and had to be because of the long cold spell.

    Have a Nice Day
    Roger
