    Good morning;
Vix-I am glad you and your home are ok and that you got your power back so quickly.
My niece in Andover, Ma still doesn't have her gas back after the gas explosions a few months ago in her area.
Irene-It sounds like Annie has a sprain. Is there anything the vet can do for that?
    Hi Roger.
I am going paper work today and running errands.
    Have a great day! :)

    Good morning.
That was my TJMaxx/Homegoods store in the picture. I didn't realize it was a 5 mile area. We were really lucky...the tornado probably jumped over us. TJMaxx is just south of us and the rest of the damage we saw was just north of us.
Roger, Baltimore has always had a crime problem, and there are pockets in some of the suburbs where kids try things. I think it's the same all over, if you look closely enough.
Jo, that's awful that your niece is still without gas....I hope alternate forms of energy can be used until it's fixed.
    Irene, hope Annie's doing better.
Rained here all last night and continuing through tomorrow evening according to the forecast. Not a good day for a walk.
I need to do some straightening around the house, things have been piling up.
Hope everyone has a good week ahead. :)

    Hi Vix
It sounds as if You were lucky if it hit north and south of You.

I suspect that the crime problem has either gotten worse since the 60s ? or it just has more coverage ? To bolster Your point that it is the same all over there were two news reports last night about teens killing relatives for next to no reason :(

It is no pleasure going out in the rain, Here it was supposed to stop overnight then move in later today with possible Thunderstorms, It was misty earlier when we went to vote and for now appears to have stopped so likely their timing was off.

I'm home and did not walking as I decided to take a day off. The Temperature outside the door was 48 degrees. The rain forecast for yesterday arrived a little early, today is supposed to be better.

I suspect that there will a deadlock in Washington due to the election results, I hope I am wrong and the the Democrat House and the Republican Senate find a way to work together.

We took advantage of early voting this year. Actually voted last Tuesday, only one or 2 people in front of me.
Irene, glad Annie's doing better, good luck with the vet today.
Roger, I'm glad both classes are the same day because it's about a 20 mile drive to get there, but it makes for a long day, and I usually come home exhausted. I finished up 2 hot air balloon sun catchers that I was working on for my daughter's baby shower. I thought they would look cute with the cloud theme in his room.
The tornado also hit to the west of us...damaged some buildings at the farm on the corner, so it actually went around us. We were lucky.
So far it's sunny today...nice to see after all the rain. Going for a walk.

    Hello Vix
As a independent voter I like to wait to vote and decide with the latest news on issues.

A 20 mile drive does not sound like fun, so I can see why You do both the same day.

Hot Air Balloon Catchers is something I never heard of, Can I guess that You made them in the stained glass class ?

You really were lucky, OTOH Tornados can do things like damage two buildings and touch the one in-between.

Today looks like a nice is cool day here.

    Have a Nice Day

    Hi
I'm back home from walking and No Money found. The Temperature out the door was 35. Wednesday and Thursday were both dry days, now we appear to be having two wet days with a possibility of Thunderstorms in the Evening. and raining Saturday Morning :(

Yesterday I took advantage of the nice warm day and went to the ShopRite grocery store and redeemed our $400 over a period of time for the free ShopRite Turkey up to 22 pounds. Since I found one that was 22.10 pounds I did have to pay the tiny extra for the .10 pound
We saved $32.78 plus the 15 cents I paid if I am reading the receipt right. We both figured get the biggest we could get in the free 18 to 22 pound turkey to have plenty of leftovers.
It now resides in the basement Freezer alongside my NS foods and other items. Next Item to be purchased for Thanksgiving will be my Brother Buying Fresh Cranberries for Homemade Cranberry Sauce, Bread Stuffing Mix, Potatoes, Celery, Black Olives, Sweet Gherkins and Carrots to go on a relish Dish. To be followed by Whipping Cream and Pumpkin Pie ingredients.
