I just posted more humor, enjoy

    Hi
I'm back home from walking and no money was found. The Temperature out the door was showing 47 degrees. When I left the house all was dry, given the early rain in the forecast I modified my walking path so that I was more or less close to the house. At the furthest point I felt my first drop of rain and by the time I was home everything was wet and the rain had temporarily stopped. There is heavy rain in the forecast for later today :(

Spring may have sprung, however I have seen better looking days

This mornings weather forecast was titled Spring Fail

I could see the Super Moon last night around the 9:30 to 10PM time period as it appeared when the clouds that were moving in did not obscure it. This morning not a trace of it through the heavy cloud cover :(

good morning, Roger the BJ's that I was in was very clean the store manager was my manager when I worked for Target and I know how he is almost OCD he was all about clean and neat even in the stock room but I really liked him . I did join BJ's there is another one in Hamilton that I will visit I will let know. I also went to Costco and got my ns gift cards which is always a plus I find I really like there fruits . Also there clothing is really nice good quality. We had a nice walk this morning it was like 31 . Aw vix you are so enjoying the baby that is so nice. Hi jo! HAPPY SPRING
    Hello Irene
That sounds like a nice store, I hope the one in Hamilton is as nice.

I really need to go online and order the gift cards while I can, I will be using most of the ones I have with the added expense of some A La Carte additions to my upcoming order. Did or Do You happen to remember when the sale ends ?

I have bought some, not much Clothing at the local CostCo and they and the heavy large bath towels are good quality and hold up well.

I like their fruits, the problem is that some of them are in to large a quantity, Bananas for example, OTOH the Apples are tasty and I like the packaging.

I hope You manage(d) to get today's walk in before the rain sets in.

    Have a Good Day Today

    Hi Vix
Welcome to spring, as if I had something to do with it's arrival

So far the only blooms are the Snow Drops, The Crocuses have vanished of the years, I suspect that something ate them, Squirrels ?

So for us the next shall be the Miniature Daffodils.

    Have a Nice Day

I went to Costco and got my ID card. I didn't need to buy anything, so I didn't tour the store.
Hubby and I will probably do that this weekend.
Vix-I would say that is a fabulous day. :)
Irene-I hope the injection is helping.
Roger-To answer your question about the corned beef. It was mostly fat and the veggies were very oily.
That is an interesting combination for a store...pick up a loaf of bread and buy a hammer. ;)
The weather has been getting warmer and almost all the snow is gone.
    Have a good evening. :)
    Hello Joanne
I have heard from more than one source that Saturday and Sunday are the best days to visit CostCo from a food samples perspective. They have nice Fruits, not always super cheap but high quality IMO. The Hot food section is a bargain, Where else can You get a 1/4 Pound Hot Dog and a Soda for $1.50 ?
I bought my Food-saver Vacuum sealer there it was the best price I could find online or in a brick and mortar store. It really does keep things much better than wrapping in other things such as Foil or Saran Wrap. I do buy much cheaper bags to use in it online from Amazon FWIW.

They should be shot for palming that corned beef off on You as a meat IMO. My best guess is that they had bought it, cooked it and were to frugal to discard it. We bought two Corned beef using the ShopRite Coupons in two different weeks and one was fine and the second had a huge Fat Cap and a layer of fat inside of it. I trimmed off the fat before eating. You could not tell how much fat from examining the package :(
There is no real excuse for Vegetables to be Oily. If the Cabbage is cooked in the water the Corned beef was cooked in that could happen. Ours was not oily FWIW.

Our snow vanished days ago

    Cheers

    Hi
I'm back home from walking and no money was found. The Temperature out the door was showing 45 degrees. The Rain yesterday was off and on, more on than off. This morning it was wet outside and as I was walking a fine mist started blowing on the breeze, That mist slowly became heavier as I walked and the breeze caused a bit of a wind chill :(

    Hello Irene
That was me yesterday and today, I was out before the rain became heavy enough that I should have worn rain gear or put on the disposable poncho I carry in a pocket on (in?) the reflective vest.

Pt will do that to You, Maybe a Chiropractor could help with the neck knots, Did She have an suggestions for those ?

    Enjoy the Pampering.

Yesterday was best described as Yuck and today is not looking any better. Since Your rain started earlier maybe it will end earlier for You today.

I have noticed that the days either fly by or every now and then slow down to a crawl.

    Good Luck with the weather

    Good morning;
Our snow was all but gone and overnight we had more. It is snowing lightly now and the lawns now have a coating of snow.
We went to Costco yesterday and bought paper goods. I also checked the prices on the products that we buy and found some to be higher than I can get in my regular grocery store.
Vix-When is your son getting married?
Irene-I am glad you shoulder is feeling better.
Roger-we had rain all day yesterday and it was cold and windy.

    Good Morning Jan and Val

I shall be posting more humor shortly

    Hi
I'm back home from walking and no money was found. The Temperature out the door was showing 35 degrees. The Rain yesterday ended in the afternoon and the winds picked up as the cold front moved in. This morning while walking there was a stiff breeze with high wind gusts causing a wind chill that was tolerable, barely having heard the wind gusts throughout the night I added a light long sleeve under the sweatshirt and hoodie.

    Hello Irene
If I said it looks like my brother is being affected by the weather changes these days. He complains about aches and pains when the rain moves in for example.

I'm glad to hear that the PT combined with a massage is helping that much.

Vet appointment, How well does Annie tolerate that sort of thing ? Hopefully better than I handle changes in my routine

Good Luck with continued treatment for Your shoulder

    Hi Vix
Lucky You, I wish our rain ended that early. Ours ended at some point Friday Afternoon, It just sort of slowed down and ended.

Hmm... Lots to do with any wedding, Pick Flowers, Venue, Wedding Cake, Music and more. I hope it isn't tiring for You. A friend's daughter went through that and he hated dealing with most of it as he was dragged all over by his wife.

    Have a Good Day

    Hi Joanne
I tend to buy the paper goods at CostCo as well as the big bags of frozen Vegetables, OTOH I can put all but one in the freezer and eating the same Vegetable for days does not bother me.

You do need to know prices and what the Grocery store has on sale since CostCo doesn't seem to do sales on foods.

It must be enough colder where You are to make our rain snow for You :(

I can live with a coating, You seem to get more snow than I would like.

    Have a Nice Day

It's 33, sunny and windy here. Going up to 51...tomorrow up to 60. :)
Roger, as the groom's family, we're taking care of the flowers and the rehearsal dinner. Bride's parents are handling the rest of it. So we've got it pretty easy. :) My daughter's wedding was 8 years ago, and it was fun planning it, although she did most of the planning!
Jo, my son is getting married Sept. 1 (Sunday of Labor Day weekend). They're having it at a winery...we're going to visit before the wedding, but the pictures look lovely. Sounds like you're getting a lot of snow, I guess that's normal for your area. We've had a relatively mild winter.
Irene, glad the PT is helping. Hope Annie's vet appt went well.
Will see what the day brings today.
    Happy Saturday, everyone. :)

You are indeed lucky to have it that easy. A Winery sounds like a interesting Venue.

I am not going to complain about this winter compared to many we have had either. I sort of hope that the summer is good too.

    Enjoy Your Sunday
