    Yeah we did have Cracker Jacks. You almost need a bank loan to go the ballpark these days. Regular hot dogs 6.25. A bag of Cracker Jack $5. Water is $5 for the same bottle I get for a $1.25 at the expensive bodega. I tell you, the owners of our team lost a bundle in the Madoff scam and I think they want us to make up their losses!

    We have a minor league team that is the White Sox affiliate about 20 mins from home. It costs about a third of going to a major league game and it's just as entertaining. You also get out of the free parking lot in about 10 minutes when the game ends.

    We have a Mets affiliate in Brooklyn, Single A. But it is a good trek from here so I don't go often.. Beautiful park on the beach with a view of the Coney Island Cyclone roller coaster. I love going there. Next season The Nephew and I will split our baseball time between the two. This way I can get a lobster roll on the boardwalk. Oops! Did I just say that? LOL

    I'm doing OK. I'm not going to do anything really different until I get my thyroid bloods rechecked in another month. I'm not allowing the Gremlins to take over but I'm also not walking around deprived.

    It's going to be a tough weekend. My hometown has their annual festival with the big parade kicking it off today and assorted activities all weekend. Spending most of the weekend there with my kids and grandkids. The gremlins will be crawling all over the place.
