Might have had a few cookies this week but then I wasn't hungry enough to eat other food. I'm calling it a draw.0

We will finish strong all right.... those little buggers....0

The month has been pretty positive. This weekend was a tie however. I went over goal twice, but chose to eat cookies rather than drink wine, which was a big win (I stopped alcohol a week ago).
Gremlins 2 Me 2 :for the weekend.0 -
I think cookies are better than wine, too.

Finished with an 8 day streak!
First of the month, time to renew count & my goals for September- Stay at or under my calorie target
- Only eat measured portions while sitting down (No open bags or containers)
- Exercise at least 30 minutes/day - ride bike at least 36 miles/week
- Pre-log if I am eating out

Ah September. This month's goals are focusing on intake. I will continue to exercise but it won't be gremlin bait this month:
1. At or under calorie goal
2. Drink 8 glasses of water a day
3. Get some greens in everyday
4. Measure food portions.

Ok, fresh start....
1. Stay under calorie goal
2. Workout 6 days per week
3. Run 3 days per week
4. I'm not sure how to quantify this last goal. I need to stay positive, and keep my attitude right. I'm not sure what to call it right now.... but I'm going to work on it.0 -
Slashmi, that is a hard goal to quantify. I do have a suggestion though. Why not be specific about what you need to be more positive about. Is it exercise? Food choices? It may be helpful to select one area to focus your positive attitude on, thereby allowing yourself to take the pressure off of "loving" this whole experience. This is a hard task, losing weight, and trying to be positive all the time about all aspects may be asking a lot of yourself. I work on approaching exercise in a positive way because I HATE it with a passion. I cajole myself along by thinking about the benefits and how happy I will be when it is over. Conversely, I don't force myself to be delighted over vegetables or small portions of favorite foods. THAT is asking too much of my grinchy, grouchy self.0

I keep healthy food around but even too much of that adds weight ......0

LOL. I love the Grinch. Just the sight of him cheers me up endlessly. Thanks for posting his glorious self. I would think, though, that your heart picture would be of the one that busted the frame!0
