Went for a short run this morning (22 minutes!!! When the hell did that become a 'short' run?!?) and I'll do my walk at lunch. Stupid FitBit died with no warning this morning; I just hope it got my run in!!

Weights this morning; triceps and chest. Walk this afternoon, if it's not to cold. It's supposed to hit a balmy high of 5 degrees Celsius.

Angelfire, I remember when you said you were about to do your 20 minute run with your couch to 5K program and weren't sure about that. Yeah, when did 20 minutes become your "short run?" You make me so proud!

The reason most people fail instead of succeed is that they trade what they want the MOST for what they want at the MOMENT.

    1056287i3zmwzup2m.gif Stats for Tuesday:
    13,000 steps
    159 minutes of dog walking
117 minutes riding the exercise bike

I walked my 3 miles yesterday but then did a strength training cycle at home (it's my 7 minute basic moves) and then did another 2 mile walk at night. I stayed under calories for the day and didn't eat any exercise calories) and I drank all my water.

( I don't have or use a fit bit or count any of my other steps, just my purposeful go out and walk time and pace from Runtastic; sort of why I'm not in the walking challenge thing)

Today I've done 2.5 miles this morning. I've avoided the office treats so far. There is still pizza and cake today, but I have my jar lunch. I'll be good.

I can only jog for one minute 20 seconds before fire engulfs my lungs.

Angelfire OH MY GOODNESS 30 frickin' minutes? YOU GO GIRL!!

:) I love the variety of exercise and how we all challenge ourselves.

Today was the most challenging line dance class. I walked the dogs longer than usual in the morning and in the afternoon :)

You'll get there Eninad! I started running at 40 and have been running on and off for 9 years now. The longest i have run is 6.2 miles (10k) a few times. My dream is to do a 1/2 marathon, just once.

Weights with my trainer this evening. Back and biceps. And then trying to pull together some semblance of a Halloween costume for tomorrow.

This picture is from a few years ago, but I wear the same costume every year. Tomorrow for my line dance class, we'll wear costumes and dance familiar dances to Halloween theme music (stuff like Monster Mash, Ghostbusters, Spooky)

Shirley, Orange bows were all the costumes on the dogs.

It was raining this morning so the dogs didn't want to walk....I walked for an hour by myself in the rain and got very wet. We walked together in the afternoon when the rain stopped.....also rode the exercise bike while watching TV

I went trick or treating with Iris tonight. We climbed HILLS. You know the kind that have the signs for semi trucks to gear down and check brakes. Yeah. The kind that get closed in the snow because it is not safe to plow them hills. My legs are killing me. Gee I wonder why. And out of the 4.34 miles today that I walked less than a mile of that was not Halloween related.

I walked my dog today with the hubby and we cheered during the football game. Other than that I rested my poor battered (from last night) body.
