Adding a 1.9 walk, hills on tready (yes I stopped 1.9 on purpose to round up my annoying .1 on my previous TTD
@clepant thanks for asking, ankle is *almost* better. Still sore a tad when I try short runs and sometimes from being on the feet all day, but I think it's nearly good to go. Trying to gently ease back in!

@k80flec - they're usually kind of fun, but sometimes just called because security gets nervous. Last time I went to one, it was to the Emergency room, we all rush there to find a woman had fallen, but only found out she was pregnant the week before. Uh, we can't help you with that.
4 mile run/walk today. Also did some strength training with the trainer. I'm going to be sore at work tonight, it usually kicks in around 4 AM.

For the next 9 months, get to play chicken with the yellow submarines. Oh yipee! Then Strava decided to have a nervous breakdown, it has me riding through 2 stores and a row of houses. So hard telling if my mileage is correct. It cut off a pretty big chunk at the end of my ride. And gave me a max speed of over 44 mph. I don't think I go that fast.

This past week of stress finally hit today & I felt totally wiped out but I took my furries for a 4 mile walk. I think tonite I may take a 1/4 of my husbands sleep pill to get some sleep. I just haven't been able to get a good night of sleep!
I am "hoping" to get in some good miles in the next 4 days so I can get to the half way mark by the middle of the month!

Walked w/DH and Bean really early this morning then got on the recumbent for 45 minutes and an episode of GRIMM then helped DDD in her classroom then hit the gym w/DDD and SIL. It was a good Wednesday!
Wed - 6.82 miles walking
Wed - 12.18 miles on the recumbent bike

Grey skies and the threat of rain and storms made today interesting. I did decide to take the bike to the office today instead of walking. Then I had to hurry home to beat the heavy rain. OH WELL. At least I got some moving in and let the van take a day off.
Added 6 miles on the bike and 3 miles walking. September total 44 miles.

Ah the day in the life of a Physical Education teacher. Starting off with an am meeting to bus duty and moving an angry construction crew out of our student drop off road, to an angry parent who did not read the 10 plus messages to drop child off in new drop off zone, to chasing an autistic student around the gym while he rams my divider curtain, scares a second grade class on the other side, only to scratch, bite, kick and head butt me after catching him. Off to two hours of evening curriculum night and in bed late to awaken to the sounds of trucks tearing up the asphalt in front of my house. The good side is that it finally rained and I get to go back and do it all over again today. Will definitely need a nice run or bike ride this evening.

I have had some MAJOR stress in my life since last Wed.! My 2.5 yr old grandson drank some chrome cleaner (acid) & had to be flown to the Childrens Hospital in CO.. It was 100* that day & he thought it was a jug of water cuz it is clear. One swig but it took 5 days of testing, poking & prodding to get released from the hospital. He had burns (not BAD but still there) down his throat, stomach & vocal chords. My son, their 5 month old baby & I drove all night Wed night while mommy flew with him on the air ambulance. We were able to head out last night & got home this morning at 4:30. Got in lots of walking while pulling him around the hospital in the Red Rider wagons they provide. It kept him occupied & me moving! I thank God for a fast recovery. I walked today with my furries (who missed me while I was gone!) & rode the ex bike. I'm am very far behind & will have to get on the bike for more miles this week!
Sorry I'm behind on seeing this but I'm glad he is doing better. What an ordeal! Hope you have some time to unwind and get rid of some stress after that.0
