Finally got my Wahoo cadence/speed sensors working. Had to buy a smart/dumb Galaxy S5 to get it to work. So now the turbo trainer (hamster wheel) has become torture. But it's good torture. Now I need to rearrange my living room corner to set up my bike, trainer and stand for my laptop. Have training videos from @webtracer, there are GCN training too. I think I will have a look at Zwift. My Strava is looking empty with just manual adds. I also want to thank @sufferlandrian for hooking me with the Wahoo sensors. Big help today figuring out that my cadence has sucked since I started riding again.

I went to a highly reputable bike shop here in the Portland area, Western BikeWorks. I got 70 dollars off on this trainer and they threw the block in for free. They let me test out every trainer they had before we decided that this one would more than fit my needs and budget.0 -

Walked w/DH and Bean in the fog early this morning then got on the recumbent bike for 45 mins then went to 1st grade to help out then went to the gym w/DDD and met w/our trainer for an hour...killer workout! A good day!

Just dropping in to say hi to all! I'm glad to see everyone moving and doing well. It's too hectic this month for me to keep up with the challenge, although I will come in from time to time and say hi. Between therapy(12 hours a week), working, and the holidays, I'm overwhelmed! But I'll be back, come January!!

I'm working on setting up a routine that will work for me when my crazy unpredictable schedule starts up again next month. So far this checking in first thing in the morning seems to be a winner.
Added 4 miles yesterday for a December total of 26.5 miles
I'm glad I'm a little ahead, today doesn't have as many opportunities to move it.

We are back to heavy rain/wind, flooding and lots of property damage to my neighbors house. I got to watch from the comfort of my living room while cycling. Better than riding outside.
