What a day I had today. It was our office staff meeting, so of course we had an in-house luncheon. Proud to say I only ate 2 meatballs and a cup of cut up fresh fruit. I was the one who brought triple chocolate browns (layer of chocolate chip cookies in which a Reese's peanut butter cup is placed and then deep chocolate fudge brown mix is poured over and baked). I had promised someone last month that I would bring this artery clogging treat and could not back out. I didn't even eat one of those, and I made it. Everyone and myself included am surprised at my stamina in trying to lose weight. Everyone have a good week and I hope you have a good weight loss on Sunday.

Hi all, happy Saturday! Hope the weekend is treating you well. Busy here and need to update the spreadsheet for me for the last couple of days. Looking forward to your updates and scores tomorrow.

It's working. Lost 2.6 last week. Would of lost more if I could get more exercise in. Goal for this week.

Same here - I lost 2.4 lbs this week. I did slack off on the exercise, relying solely on walking, but did well in the other categories -- I'm even managing 7 days of no sweets and no alcohol so I can keep within my calorie goal (too bad you can only get 6 days/5 days worth of points for those categories). I will update my spreadsheet for today after dinner tonight.

Good luck everyone on completing the week.

I found this week really challenging, all I could think of was sweets and even if I had something it didn't feel satisfying. On top of that I've been transitioning from working straight nights to working days and nights so when I'm not working or sleeping I'm dealing with kids. Hoping a better week next week :)

evening everybody - congrats on making it through week 2! Cassandra - I'm with you, I've found this week really hard. Going to weigh myself in the morning (ashamed to say, I forgot today!) and get back on the wagon properly this week. I've done ok this week in the challenge but it's been tough. Have a good evening team :)

Morning team! Scores submitted for week 2 with a very impressive team score of 222. And highest individual score again goes to Patti with 237 - well done Patti, you are setting us a very high standard :)

Are we all geared up for week 3? My goals for this week - step the exercise back up and cut out the sweet treats - that is really proving my downfall right now. Happy Monday all!

Good morning all. I'm ready for week 3. Are we all in for maximizing those points? I too am looking to step up the exercise this week -- I want to start adding some body strengthening workouts to my walking routine, particularly the arms and core. My goal is to add 3 workouts this week. I just need to find the motivation now -- no excuses.

Woot, nice job team! That's quite an improvement over last week's numbers :) Looking forward to week 3 and improving everyday. I did a little better this past week with my vegetables so I'm pretty proud of that :p so this week I plan to run every other day as well as add in some strength training 3 times this week.Weight-Loss-Inspiration-From-Instagram%201_zpsowaavoij.jpg

Good morning team. Hope you all had a successful day yesterday. I managed to do the Biggest Loser Cardio Max DVD yesterday - lots of lunges so I'm sure I'll be sore today. I've targeted Thurs and Sun for the other 2 Cardio Max workouts so I can reach my goal of 3 additional workouts this week. Hopefully stating my plan will goad me into action.

well I think yesterday was an official fail for me - started bad and didn't improve! Today will be better - out to buy fruit at lunch time to get me through the rest of the week and we've got some nice, veg heavy meals planned through to Friday. Have a good day all :)

Yesterday was pretty good for me I managed to get in all my fruits, vegetable, water, a pretty good exercise session and stayed away from the treats! I'm hoping for a similarly good day today but I doubt I'll be so lucky :p It was leg day yesterday and I'm really feeling it this morning lol. I'm still hoping to get a run in and some weights later but we'll see. leg_zpstsqqx4pt.jpg

We I have been getting my exercise in for the past two days. We had a horrendous snow storm in NW PA, and I have been shoveling myself out and helping my neighbors out also. Yuck!!! This week is going by fast and furiously. I have decided to bypass the church tureen program/dinner, because I'm like a hot at a trough at those things. I know my weaknesses. Hey why is this trailer so long? It keeps going on and on and on.

Hello everyone. Good job @Caleanra and @FABRICWOMAN Not sure if snow shoveling counts as strength training or HIIT but it definitely counts as something -- LOL.

Way to recover @janetay01 We all have (and will have) unsuccessful days, the key is getting back on track

OMG, I just read over my entry today. The sentence is "like a HOG at a trough". Sorry about that. Oh well, I guess I'll be leaving work today and shoveling some more. I feel like I live in a snow globe, but I won't let it interfere with my weight loss journey today! Tomorrow is another day.

Feeling kind of retro today -- I resurrected my Rebok step and an old VHS step aerobics tape from the basement and did a 45 min workout. Worked up quite a sweat by the end. I've got quite the collection of exercise tapes and DVDs that I've gathered over the years, some of which have never been opened. Maybe now I'll be motivated to try them as part of this challenge.

Sorry I went awol yesterday- some nasty 24 hour vomiting virus that my little boy brought back from nursery took us all down. Feeling a bit more human today thankfully so back to it! Hope you all have a good Friday

Ah Jane, I hope you and your family start to feel better. Patti, I laughed so hard over your latest motivational poster. It is now hanging over my desk and on my refrigerator door. hahahahaha!!!

Hi Everyone! @FABRICWOMAN Gloria, glad you had a good laugh. @janetay01 Jane, hope you feel better soon -- having that type of bug really stinks. @Caleanra Cassandra, hope you survived "leg day" - I've seen lots of jokes about it similar to what you posted so I gather it's rather brutal.

I'm sooo glad it's Friday (as I am most Fridays). My goal for the day is to go to the grocery store to get more veggies -- i'm down to romaine lettuce and a small head of broccoli which does not lend itself to a very exciting salad. I want to stock up on some things so I can keep up with my veggie goals over the weekend.

Hope you all have a good and successful day today. Until tomorrow ...

Hello everyone. Team Yellow has been rather quiet lately, hope y'all are doing OK.

Had a bit of a slow start this morning but I did get a 30 min walk in with the dog this morning. It's supposed to get warm this afternoon so I'll try to take advantage of the spring-like weather and go for another walk later on. How has everyone's week been going so far? I can't believe we are near the end of week 3.

lost 2.4 lbs. Not as large as I thought I should, but happy with a loss. Hope everyone else has done well. I can't believe we are half way through our challenge.

afternoon ladies - sorry, I've been absent, family is finally surfacing from the stomach bug that came back from nursery! Great loss Gloria - I think a 2.4 loss is pretty impressive :)

Off now to update my spreadsheet for the last couple of days, transplant my sweet pea seeds and make some supper for my little boy. Have a good sunday and good luck team for our submission tomorrow!

I lost .8 lbs this week. Next week I'll have to step up the exercise to 45 min in order to get the max. exercise points so hopefully that will help increase next week's weight loss.

Morning all, I've got a score of 166 for the week which I'm reasonably happy with all things considered.

Great news on the loss Patti and thank you for the exercise increase reminder - should yield some rewards for us all.
Cassandra - all ok with you, not seen you much the last couple of days

Have a good monday all and speak soon!

Hi everyone! How did your week start out? I did manage to get a 45 min workout in despite being swamped at work. I did the Walk Away the Pounds 3 mile walk -- felt good to move around since I was pretty much desk bound all day today. I probably would have skipped it along with my final veggie serving if it had not been for this challenge.

Hope everyone is doing OK - it's been really quiet on the Team Yellow board and I miss hearing from y'all.
