Morning all - my Monday was good. Didn't manage to get the exercise in but all else achieved. Back into the office today and will stop by the fruit stall on my way in - stock up for the week! Back up to working 5 days a week from next week

Afternoon ladies - how are we all doing? Very quiet on here from our winning team - two weeks in a row, we are setting ourselves standards to maintain! Hope Wednesday is treating you all well :)

Hi everyone. Hope y'all are doing well. Winners two weeks in a row -- what teamwork! Let's keep it up.

For some reason I am finding this week a little more difficult -- work is super busy so I'm not getting my exercise in during the day. I have managed to do my workouts when I first get home from work but my first inclination is to just skip it and then I think "but that's 7 points I'll be giving up" Guess this challenge is doing it's job -- getting me off my rear end when I really just want to be a couch potato. Hope I can keep it up.

I know what you mean. It is so dreary outside and I feel like just closing my eyes (not too spiffy when at work). I appear to be in the right frame of mind to talk myself in getting up and about. Hope everyone has a good day. Going to maker a spot of green tea now!!

Jane: Can you look at my log and see if I am putting in the correct total under the "bonus points" row, and let me know either way. Thanks!

Gloria: I assume the number in the bonus exercise is your calories burned which is adding to your weekly points total - so it currently thinks you've got 771 points for the week  . However, I'm not the best with Excel calculations so its probably easier for me to calculate from your weekly total and then work out your weekly points from there! So simply put, I'll make sure it adds up right at the end of the week!

I'm struggling at the moment and feel like I'm desperately in need of some sunshine and warmth - it's been wet and miserable for months here. Work is just too busy and spare time at home seems to be in short supply. So yes, I know what you both mean - roll on spring! Hope everyone has a good day :)

Jane I can update the spreadsheet formulas next time I'm in there to update my points.

I know what you mean about the weather - looking forward to some sunshine. Hopefully this weekend.

Good morning all. How has everyone's week going?

Jane -- I fixed the spreadsheet. Has your week gotten any better? We have some sunshine here this morning but it's pretty cold so no spring yet.

Gloria -- how's the gym? Is it helping?

Patti - thank you! Week ended better and we had sunshine today - not warm but just the sun makes such a difference.

Hope the day and the week is treating us all well - any fun plans for the weekend?

Happy Saturday! The week is almost over -- how did everyone do? I came off the rails a little these last 2 days -- water and fruit servings were my downfall yesterday mostly due to laziness. I plan put on my big girl pants today and get back back on track.

After working 11:00 to 7:00 a.m. shift (week-end job) I had an a.m. church meeting. Of all the nerve, they served pizza for lunch, but also a large salad. It was the only thing that saved me. Happy to say I stayed within my day's intake totals. It's tough out there, stay strong sisters!!!!

Way to go Gloria! Having healthy options available helps us make healthy choices.

I did my tax return yesterday and admit I indulged in some emotional eating to help me through it but at least they're done. Started today off on the right foot eating-wise -- veggie omelet with light English muffin (one veggie serving down). Planning the rest of the day on MFP so I can keep to my calorie goal.

Congrats Gloria! I can't believe it's already March. Weather is sunny and fairly warm here today -- really feels like spring. I'm planning to take a long walk during lunchtime today unless something dire crops up at work.

Sounds like a great plan Patti - good luck with steering clear of anything dire at work! I'm doing good today - fruit target hit for the day, water and vegetables well on track and 30 minutes of exercise already logged. Now to hit the rest of the day and make some good choices for an evening meal!

Glad things are going well Jane. Good luck with the evening meal. :)

I did get a 32 min. walk in at lunch. I plan to get another walk in with the dog when I get home. I'm some headway on the veggie, fruit, and water fronts too -- dinner will be the make or break moment for the day. Thinking I may do a salad for dinner to complete the veggie requirement and a smoothie for dessert to finish up the fruit servings.

Thank you everyone for the congratulations. A large part is knowing I have to face the scale on Monday and the encouragement I receive from team YELLOW each day. You are all life savers. Having lunch out with a friend today at Perkins restaurant. I looked at their web site and found a sandwich called a "Little Chickadella". It is under their "FF" (it stands for Fit something, but of course we found something crude to stand in for the acronym [not saying]. It is delicious and calories are good for my daily intake. Wishing everyone a good weight loss week. Again, thanks for all your support.

Good morning! How has everyone's week going so far? I ordered a Bollywood workout DVD from Amazon last night -- I thought I might try something dance oriented to see if it would make exercise more "enjoyable" LOL So far walking -- whether walking outside or doing a Leslie Sansone WATP DVD -- is my go-to exercise. For some reason I can always get a 30 - 45 min walk in without a lot of struggle. But other forms of exercise, not so much.

Good morning all - the week has been good, it's Friday, I have a day off work and the sun is shining so I'm quite chipper today!!

Patti - I know exactly what you mean about the exercise. I can get walks in fairly easily but finding both the time and motivation to do other stuff is something of a bigger challenge. I've dusted off my Jillian Michaels DVD's again and I can do this - I just need to MAKE the time to do them. Dancing - something I've always been tempted to try but I have zero co-ordination and fear that I may make just too much of a fool of myself . Often wondered about Zumba - anybody tried it?

Gloria - hope the meal was good and well done for finding the healthy option. Glad Team Yellow is helping - we must continue to work with each other once we are done with the challenge!

Good morning all. I finally have some downward movement on the scale this morning. I've been bouncing up and down within a 1 lb range over the last 2 weeks and this morning I finally hit a new low. Just need to maintain it and maintain the downward trend. Need to get my feet moving!!!

Morning - sorry, I'm still here! Nice but stupidly busy weekend and by the time I'd finished the ironing last night it was most definitely time for bed!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend and a successful week - I had a mixed week to be honest, it's been better. But this is a new week and the sun is shining - good luck all!

I will be submitting scores today - I'm now making the assumption that Cassandra has dropped out of the group so will be calculating the average across the three of us still standing.

Good morning everyone. Rough week end, besides tired of working 3rd shift 2nd job I attended a birthday party on Saturday. I pretty much steered clear of the buffet table. She did make wonderful fruit kabobs. I ate a big hunking piece of birthday cake with strawberry fluffed icing. I haven't had a piece of cake since January. It was marvelous! I did lose 3.8 lbs. this past week though. Yeah!!!! Well I have learned NOT to dwell of these small set backs. I just start back on the next meal, not the dreaded work TOMORROW. Tomorrow never comes! Everyone have a good week. I can't believe our challenge will be over in just a few weeks. I don't want it to end, what about you all?

Good week ladies - a team score of 202 and an individual win by Gloria by 235 - great score. Hope the week is treating you both well so far.

Gloria - that piece of cake sounds delicious! Great loss as well - you are doing a great job.

I agree on a certain level that I don't want it to end - but I'm finding that I need a balance to the focus. I think I am eating healthier and I'm far more conscious of things like water consumption but I've lost focus on the simple calorie figure along the way. Now this is partly lack of discipline on my part but I think I need to find a balance. Perhaps the answer is that this challenge makes me think more about what I'm eating and should give me the spur to then think about how much of it I'm eating - I don't know. Just got to keep going, be good and wait for the weight/inches to drop I guess.

Anyway, I'm rambling. Happy Tuesday all!
