I have been able to find enough breaks in the rain to get my bike out the last two days to make up some miles. Yesterday I was brave enough to spend a little time on the treadmill too. I stayed under 2mph and everything seems OK this morning, so I don't think I made anything worse. I'm still planning on hiking by the end of this week, so here's hoping this is a good sign.
Added 11.5 miles in the last 2 days for an August total of 70.75 miles. As long as I average at least 5 miles a day for the rest of the month, I will make goal.
Hope Everyone is Having a Wonderful Weekend!!1 -

Sorry for not checking in. Got laid off recently and haven't really had any motivation. Will get back to it in September!0

@Hungry_Annie - so sorry to hear that. Exercise will help you feel better if you can bring yourself to get out there.
@clepant - goal raised to 400
I'm off in California visiting my parents so I've been able to run on the beach. It's fabulous! 56/753 -

@Just_Ceci: What great weather for ride. We are supposedly getting some cooler mornings here. Looking forward to it.
@Hungry_Annie: I am so sorry about your situation. I believe that when a door is closed a windo is opened. Here is to positive thoughts for something to come. Janet is right, exercise can often help one feel better.
@Dave: Hope you enjoy your time CA.

I thought I posted earlier today with my 3 mile mostly jogging yesterday & 12 on ex bike today. Oh well when I came back to add my 3 mile walk with the furries tonite I don't see it.
I go get my kitchen ready & supplies in order tomorrow. Depressing thought I know. Open house with lunch is Tues & school resumes on Wed.

We have some of that cooler weather here this morning too. Gives me the chance to take my bike to and from work and get back some of those miles I lost to injury. If everything goes well today I am planning on testing my legs on a longer walk too. I'd rather find out now than on a trail somewhere in the Smokey Mountains if my legs are up to it.
Added 6 miles on the bike and walking for an August total of 76.75 miles
@Hungry_Annie I'm sorry things feel so hard right now. I hope getting out and moving will help and things get better soon.
@cpanus CONGRATULATIONS!!!
@Janet Enjoy those runs on the beach.0 -

Yep, depressing indeed. Our building has been under renovation with major part this year. Our first in-service is Friday and we cannot get in to set up because it is still a mess and there is no furniture coming till Wednesday. I am betting my room, the gym is not done or has been the storage area so I probably will not have a teaching space. Not going to stress it. They said they would open the building this weekend. Just what I want to do...spend my weekend at work.0
