My step it up September goals are:
post daily (starting today)
restart my daily planks
reach 7500 steps a day (when I bike or use the elliptical I never get a proper count so I'm not aiming for 10k yet)
step up my food variety, I've been getting into a rut.

I've been sucking so hard the past few days.
Day 4: 5,044 steps/10,000 and only 500ml of water.
Day 5: 6,457 steps/10,000 but I hit my 1500ml water goal!
Do I get to count more steps for day 5 if lots of them were spent carrying a giant TV as well? LOL
NSV: Hauled a 55inch TV with the help of my BF out of Best Buy, onto the train, and then three blocks to our new place.
The gym I'm going to is closed on the weekends until mid-September so I did not lift. But I am definitely going today because my body is craving it!1 -

I put the keys in the car, turned it on, and was about to leave thinking "oh well, I guess I can't work out today", when I thought "Hey, Step it Up September." So I went in an worked out without music. Not the most fun, but not the horrible ordeal I thought it'd be5

Good for you! I hate working out without music too...sometimes you need the right song to get you going.1 -
I almost skipped the gym today, until I thought of this thread and my declaration of 5 workouts a week. So, I put on my big girl panties and went.
The good news is, my heart rate was slightly lower for my 2 mile run! I'm usually around 173-175 for that second mile. Today it was right around 170!
Knocked out some leg 5x5's afterwards. I am now 5/5 workouts for the first week. Woot woot!4 -
Well, I learned the hard way that 50 net carbs is too much for me for weight loss. Good to know.
Today's cals: under
Carbs: 28 net, woot!
Exercise: Mostly a rest day (busy working and I worked late last night). I want to get some more steps in now, maybe 10 min worth, and then I really need to relax and start my wind-down for bed. (Fighting insomnia, so sleep is a high priority for me now.)0 -

Another awesome day on keto. Really feeling good again. Lots of fun plans coming up... maybe some travel to see a fav band. Stepping it up all over the place!

9/6: 16,496 steps (15,000 step goal)
Weighing/measuring food ✅-refocusing and stepping this up starting to pay off as now 1.2 pounds away from my new goal weight.
Great day today. Local kids back to school today so it was the first day in 3 months where hordes of kids (and inattentive parents/babysitters/nannies) weren't waiting at the library door for it to open. Tons of books to shelve, but peaceful!

Water goal: 2000ml/1500ml - woo!
Step goal: 10,014/10,000 - squeaked that one in! Did some dancing in my living room to get to my target haha1 -
barely squeaked in my steps today but I knew it would be a light day. Just proud of myself for getting it done!

Yikes! I forgot to post my best day ever! 17,246 steps! I'm drinking more water too! 66 oz which is phenomenal for me. Everyone have a fabulous day and get those steps in!5

@elize7 - Sounds like you are doing great! Keep it up and don't let the bad stuff get you down. Seems like you've got this.
I don't have a handle on it. It takes me months with a .6-1 pound loss a week and then I can seriously gain 5 pounds in a week! Made a bunch of Keto Meatloaf last night and packed it up for lunches thinking I will get back to what worked before. I ended up eating 3 servings before the night was over. I'm starting to log everything again. I need to be accountable. So far I'm OK today. One day at a time again. Planning on a solid walk tonight.

I will be hitting my final weight goal in September of 175. After spending about 15 years at 215, I had a small surge up to 223 in 2012. I began very slowly losing since then until I reached just under 200 in early 2015. T2D diagnosis last summer helped me make up my mind to not just be in "good shape for my age" but to actually be in good shape. Funny thing is I initially went LC with great success lowering my A1c and weight and then decided to follow the ADA guidelines which caused both weight and A1c to go up. Back to LC hardcore and down about 8 lbs in the last 3 weeks and fasting BG readings are averaging about 15 points less - generally all the way down into the normal for a non-diabetic range. Weight as of this morning is 179.6.3

Diet - all month: stick with the plan (protein, fat, salt), record my food, adjust for issues - MET2 -

Basic plank/program scheduled rest day.
Feeling pretty good about this challenge so far. I always do like the fall season and feel inspired.
Following through pretty well on other projects as well, making progress every day.
Three, Yes three! Dance nights coming up all in a row. I feel very happy about that, and Sunday is going to be a glorious do- nothing, lazy, lounge day. Except for "step it up" challenge requirements ...because no excuses!

Stepped up too much and hurt myself. I gave myself time to recover and returned to cycling. DH suggested I should stretch before/after walking so far. I've never been athletic and need to learn these things. Hopefully not in such a painful way next time.1

Picked up manual treadmill from craigslist for 35 dollars today. Holy smokes that's not easy. Finished my 20k steps for the day, went 8.2 miles with incline. I sure hope I can walk tomorrow5

Day 7: 10,008 /10,000 steps - you can guess who was marching around the living room much to the annoyance of the BF. Thanks to a few glasses of wine.

My step it up goal is to stop eating anything which contains sugar or flour. I had successfully lost 20 lbs but succumbed to eating home bakes so regained 10 lbs, but have come to my senses and will record my food so that by Christmas I will be slim once again.2
