That? That's almost unbearably cute. You not only produce good projects, you produce fine grands as well. :)

Hooray! (I think retirement is excellent. I had an adjustment period - too me a while to stop twitching ;) - but I've been enjoying myself mightily. Hope you do, too!)

Retirement seems like a flickering illusion, far off in the distance... :'(

You'll get there Mac. I'm stacking up plans for home improvments, trips and shop projects. If I live to 100 I might finish my list.

Retirement for me could mean pulling up stakes from the People's Republic of Ontariostan where the cost of living continues to skyrocket under successively more socialist governments. Any houses left in Wolfville? Must have minimum 2 car garage with space to pulling wrenches...

Lots of great properties here. Aging population, often very nice, large well kept properties come up when people downsize. Check out MacKay Real Estate here in Wolfville. Run by friends. Bike trips in our future?

Maybe so. Things are crazy busy at work but current boss appears to be grooming me for promotion. A few years at a higher salary would buff my pension so I'm considering it... Still only 53 years old so a few extra years won't hurt.

Yeah, it varies a lot. Taxes are high, but it's a great place to live.
