I do not feel much different, or even see it in the mirror. But when I put 2 pictures beside eachother, I see major differences! And I've only lost 14lbs so far. I feel like I might need skin removal, because of how my skin is going down further. But still going to keep going! Mildly embarrassing pics but I'm so happy!

Absolutely a difference.....I took a before picture (well sort of one week in picture) but need to take a current one to see the difference....I'll try to remember to do it and post.....3

Give it time...your skin should tighten up. I have had that saggy gut for a while too, but it gets better. Don't worry about that now...you are doing great and you can decide what to do later if you need do anything at all!7

First, it is "14 lbs," not "only 14 lbs."
Second, if you continue to lose the weight in a steady sustainable way, your skin will heal. It may take a bit longer and may not get to 100% of where you want it, but be patient. Those who end up needing the surgery for loose skin typically lose it too fast on a LF, calorie restricted diet. Staying LCHF is the best way to avoid this.
Great job! Keep it up16 -
Wonderful job and very inspiring!! I have also heard that the skin does heal and tighten up, it just takes longer and good nutrician.3

Thank you everyone! Honestly as long as I'm lighter and can get around easier, and I'm healthier I'll be happy13

The two places I see the biggest difference are in your face and tummy area. Congratulations on making such excellent progress and keep up the good work!!3

Looking great! You've made an awesome start! So much to be proud of!
This is the best attitude in my opinion. I think having your focus on something other than weight makes a major difference when it comes to long term commitment.hmikkola92 wrote: »Thank you everyone! Honestly as long as I'm lighter and can get around easier, and I'm healthier I'll be happy2 -
There's nothing embarrassing about it. Honestly, I wish that I hadn't have been such a self-conscious puss when I first started getting myself together. The earliest progress picture that I have is from 231 lbs., even though I was 265 when I started.3

That's awesome...great work!
I did take before pictures, but I'm waiting until I hit the 2 month mark to take more...so this weekend will be the moment of truth.

Hey! I've now been low carb since March 1 and I have had great results!
This is probably not typical of low carb alone. During the 4 weeks, I practiced 16:8 intermittent fasting, I did Keto 10:35:65(c:p:f) and kept my calories around 1500. I'm exclusively nursing a 4mo old and am type 1 diabetic, so eating this way has drastically decreased my need for insulin and helped with insulin sensitivity, allowing me to further knock down my basal insulin needs.
I'm ecstatic!
Start weight March 1: 200
March 7: 196
March 14: 189
March 21: 186
March 28: 181

I don't have my before pic on my phone but this pic was taken after I lost the first six pounds. I'm mostly doing keto because of energy/health issues related to severe reactive hypoglycemia but who doesn't love leaning out a bit?!26 -
You look great, Melissa! I know hypoglycemia well as a type 1 diabetic! No fun!1
