I'm new to the group, but not to MFP. I've been logging since July 2017 and have lost a little over 50 pounds so far. I would like to lose at least 20 more, the evaluate what to do next, whether lose more or try to get in better shape. I'm 59, female and work full time.2

Hi Everyone! I'm new to your group but have been doing MFP for about a month. I'm a 55 year old wife, mom and gram. I have been overweight almost all of my life. Tried so many ways to lose, but would give up for one reason or another. I'm down a little over 10# right now and I'm tickled to death about it! Have a ways to go-but I'm taking it 10 pounds at a time. Going to Vegas in June and my goal is to be able to wear a dress. Nothing fancy, just a cute summer dress. Already bought it-who knows maybe by June it will be too big?
Looking forward to getting support and giving it too and making some new friends!

While trying to stay up with my two little boys ages 7 and 6 as well as surviving 2 heart attacks and surgeries I think I have finally figured out this game of life a bit better with lifestyle change and exercise... Maybe, being over 50 is a little late in the game but still think its humorous when your appearance on the outside seems to be healthier than these 20 and 30 year olds... Better said, "Just a sad state of affairs of our health here in the US..." Just wanted to say Hi and nice to meet you all...

Noob here (to MFP). Needed an app that linked my Apple watch to health program at work, and this is it.
59 years old, retired Navy. And a newlywed. Met my wife a little less than a year ago and promptly put on 30 lbs. Have lost a bit in the last month due to changes in eating habits and now ending first week of Nutrisystem (have done it before mostly because I was too lazy to shop!). Back in the gym as well, hoping to get back in 10k shape.5 -
