Haha looks like a fake (toy) cat.. So darn cute. Congrats on your weight loss and sometimes I think its good to give yourself (your body and mind) a break. You have done amazing in the past couple of months! We are here and OMAD is not going anywhere so you now know how to maintain/or even lose if needed. Glad to hear your anx is better. Well as anticipated, FINALLY got my gallon of water in yesterday - it took concerted effort, but we got it done. The result?
151.8!
MANNNNNNNNN I actually had a smaller deficit yesterday then the day before but JUST by getting enough water, close to 4 pounds GONE. I'll say it louder for the newbies in the back - DON'T SLACK ON YOUR WATER KIDS!!!! LOL

Monday -
Baked chicken thigh with mashed taters and chicken gravy made from chicken drippings and BONE BROTH, super yummy - and then some corn on the cob - finished with a pint of Halo Top
Cals - 1197
Def - 996
Tuesday -
Chicken thigh meat from the bone broth process with tomatos, ranch, bacon "wraps" on romaine, dessert was a peach, some strawberries and blueberries.
Cals - 1252
Def - 804
I'll reiterate - note the deficit was 200 cals smaller yesterday, but I got my water in. I didn't officially weigh yesterday but at home I saw a GAIN from Monday. Granted it was higher carb, but my water also sucked. Long story short, I gotta keep on top of my water like WHOA LOL
T MInus 8 more work days til the big move! WOOT WOOT!!

I agree...I'm not doing ANY extended fast and I'm JUST back on OMAD today...I'm keeping the cals over 1000 as to not stress my body and should still see mild losses as I settle into maintenance with toning. Once I'm at the lower end of my range and enter TRUE maintenance, I'll up my cals to closer to my TDEE1 -

When you talk about water, how much do you consume each day? I try to drink 1,200 litre minimum. I think I going to hit a plateau again. 😞

Thank ya JP!!! I don't know how much equates to a liter but I shoot for a MIN of a gallon which is 128 oz

Dang ok... I really need to stop slacking with my water intake! lol I dunno if I can do a gallon (I'd never leave the bathroom), but you've really inspired me to make more of an effort to drink more.

LMFAOOOOOOOOO the ear "tufts" are my Mama's fave too They never go away either LOL - he's just the BEST
And seriously, if I'm not in the habit it takes a SIGNIFICANT CONSCIOUS EFFORT for me to get to a gallon...and yes, I have to time it right because I pee a LOT but it's worth it IMO. For 4 pounds overnight? Yes please
It'll be interesting to see how the scale behaves if I do well again today with it...I'd love to see sub 150 this week Without my normal extended fast that probably won't happen but we'll see - I'd take 150.X Friday without complaints1 -
OMG, when I did my calculations on your 128 oz, its around 3.7 litres. Good golly, I am way way behind when it comes to water. I am struggling to even get my water up to 2 litres (67.6 oz) as I also drink tea besides water. I really should up my game when it comes to water intake... fingers cross! Cheering you on to 150 or even 149!!!0

That is so awesome on your losses and I agree the water sometimes does the magic trick to just get you all flushed out!!! I am sure you will be in the 140s soon and ready to just relax a bit and maintain!! AWESOME dear!!!0

Eh, I'm calling it practice maintenance right now because I'm still eating under my TDEE/eating at a deficit...just not my normal aggressive schedule where I was losing 2+ pounds a week...more like 500-1000 cal deficit instead which still sounds like a lot actually LOL - oh well, I'm taking it pretty easy and no extended fasting. Doing my toning but going to have to add some weight(s) if I really want to see a change in my body SHAPE. It's so hard RN with my schedule but come the 1st it'll get much easier0

Happy Thursday Kids!
It's rainy and dreary here, but I'M in a great moooooooooood!!! Got some good sleep, had a nice filling dinner...still hangin' in a 18:6 pattern...eating my first cals around 4 pm and eating dinner round 10pm.
Last night's dinner (forgot to take pics) - 6 oz shrimp with garlic, peas (which I mean earlier when I said corn on the cob...that was the night before LOL), and a GIANT salad with Romaine, Broccoli, a whole tomato, and crack ranch. Wrapped up with a pint of Halo Top Black Cherry.
Cals - 1346
Def - 837
Daily Weight:
151 even
SUPER happy with that - 0.8 overnight, which surprised me because the Halo Top isn't particularly low carb. DID get my water in again, and plan to do so today as well I'll have fruit tonight for dessert so I might even see 149.8 tomorrow which would be exciting
As noted above, going to start adding some serious weights to my toning - body weight alone isn't going to get me the re-comp I want and Ced has some nice ones at home...it'll be easier come July when I'm home most of the time LOL

Bet you will be in your 140s next week at the rate you are going Trying to get in my water but OMG, its so hard. Finally managed to get in 2 litres ( 1/2 gallon) yesterday. Really respect ya for getting in 1 gallon or more... how do you do that???

JP - Once you get in the habit of it, you get REALLLY thirsty if you don't get that much, I assure you LOL - also if I get too busy, I literally just chug down like 16oz of room temp water (easier to get down fast without hurting my teefies LOL) to get back on course...and just try to pay attention hour to hour, ya know??0 -

Wasn't expecting THAT! I didn't fast at all...did my new normal 18:6. My cals weren't any lower than earlier in the week either so the water is just doin' it's job! WOOT WOOT!
FOOD:
Snack around 4 pm - Apple and 4 tbsp peanut butter
Dinner- A LOT of tuna salad with full fat mayo, celery, and onion eaten on romaine (can you tell I like romaine? LOL)...a peach, half a cup of blueberries, and 10ish strawberries.
Cals - 1296
Def - 723
Welp, that's faster than I want to be losing right now, so I guess we're upping our cals next week...DON'T GET ME WRONG, I'm not complaining, but I need to start giving my body some SHAPE! I know that'll mean SUPER slow losses but I'm totes fine with that.
Not much else to report over here except that the IRS is going to be the DEATH of me this week LMAO

UPDATE! So earlier this week my CURRENT job said through the end of summer, we're doing Free Lunch Fridays but for obvious reasons I ignored it LOL - WELLLL just went down to see if they had guac so I wouldn't have to go to the store after work, and BOOM! They offered me a beautiful turkey and provolone sammy on foccacia...SOOOOOOOO now that's my afternoon snack instead of my veggies and ranch and string cheese LMAO1
