Ugh, we went out for dinner AGAIN last night as it was Darcy’s birthday, so my weight is only very slowly dropping. Not that I’m really complaining too much as it did drop a bit and I did eat a lot! :)

Plus I’m in this for the long haul and the fact that every single meal since last Thursday has been at a restaurant and I didn’t go off the rails or quit my diet or anything is so cool.

Now that I think about it, we are also going out for dinner tonight...

It’s funny, now I’d way rather have my own home cooked meals. I rarely get disappointed then and I’ve had a few pretty average meals I’ve the past few days. I’ve definitely become a food snob doing OMAD!!

Very nice to be able to splurge a little and know how to handle it!

It sure is! I know after a weekend like this on any of my old diets, I would have totally thrown in the towel and just kept eating. I also would have probably gained a fair bit of weight. I actually don’t think I ate much more than usual at my meals, but I did eat way more processed and salt laden food than my normal diet and I don’t think my body is overly happy with me!

So we are going out for dinner again tonight. We have to go to an awards ceremony at my stepdaughter’s school which doesn’t finish until after 8. She wants Chinese food. My first instinct was to eat at home before we left so I don’t have to deal with all that salt and msg. Then I thought about it and figured that doing that isn’t “normal”. It’s total diet mentality because I don’t want to see the scale stay the same or go up. So I’m going to suck it up and eat the salty food like a normal person and not worry about it! If the scale goes up tomorrow it’s not the end of the world!!!

    Weight slowly going down:

Well, I guess the Chinese food last night wasn’t too bad... At least I’m back under my trend line again!! Though my goal date is still moving off into the distance, rude... Goal date should correct itself in a few days though, just an artifact of the calculation lag... Eating at home tonight, woohoo, can’t wait!!!

Well, go figure, I finally dropped the water weight from the weekend and just edged under my lowest weight from last week... Took long enough, my body is a b1tch, ha!

    LOVE pav!!

    Thanks!

And yes, pavlova is to die for... This wasn't the best as it just came from the grocery store, but honestly, is there such a thing as a bad pavlova?? Darcy's mum makes the BEST pavlova in the world...

I'm all about the fruit too (especially the passion fruit) and Darcy is all about the cream and meringue, so it works out well... :)

Nothing much to report, weight looks to have resumed a downward trend, which makes me happy...

    Feeling good, thanks everybody...

I did go up a little bit today, but just a normal fluctuation. Trendweight is slowly moving my goal weight date back again - it was Sept 2018 yesterday and today it's July 2018... The wild goal date fluctuations kind of amuse me now. I used to get a bit annoyed by them but now I don't even care. I'm going to get there eventually, and the time is passing anyway, so whateva!

I tried on a whole bunch of my size 10 (USA size 6) skirts (all Esprit brand for some reason, I guess I shopped there a lot when I was thin, I certainly haven't stepped into that store in a few years!!) just now and I can fit into them all. I wouldn't wear them in public right now because there is a fair bit of muffin top going on, but a few weeks and they should all fit. Woohoo! Super happy about that.

Hit a new low today - 165.8. Haven't seen that number in a while.

Still, after 6 months, it kind of freaks me out that I had a LOT of cheese (I bought all these delicious raw milk Swiss cheeses and we are going through them FAST) and a big pesto and Parmesan cheese pasta dinner last night plus peanut butter and an apple and a handful each of peanuts, cashews, and almonds... Oh and a nice big glass of red wine. And I am still losing weight.

I am actually kind of sad that I wasted so many years eating tasteless low fat cheese and hardly ever allowing myself to have pasta because obviously both cheese and pasta are so evil...

Plus all I'm doing is walking right now. I used to exercise like crazy just to hold onto normal weight. I do need to start lifting weights again for old age health reasons for sure, but that's another topic...

BTW, this is Darcy's weight chart. You can see exactly when he started doing the fasting thing, and how steep his curve has been since then... (Before he was just trying to do a traditional diet of eating less...).
