It worked!!! I ate mindfully for 5 days and OMAD for 1 day and I'm right back to my last weekly weigh in weight of 124. You can tell which days that I had desserts and other carby foods by the jump in weight on certain days. I now know that mindful eating along with 1 or 2 OMAD days will keep me in the 120's

Brenda, what is your definition of mindful eating?0

Being mindful is how I would describe how I'm trying to approach my meals now, especially in the sense of being mindful of not eating too fast. I still have to work on this so that I allow enough time for the sensation of fullness to set in.1 -
Excellent, Brenda! I think this will be my ultimate plan as well. I loved intuitive eating, and it makes sense to then use OMAD if you creep up too much. How did you decide when to OMAD? I feel like I would've freaked out at the 127 and then did the OMAD, but what you did worked perfectly, and you had a lot more freedom than I would've given myself! I love that you're so in tune with your body!0

I figured that since I was at 127 so close to my official weigh in day that I better do an OMAD and it worked out1 -
I over did it yesterday and I was 129 this morning so today was an OMAD day!0

Brenda I love your plan. I think that is what I have been doing for the last few weeks except I have been using a combination of OMAD and fast days. I like OMAD better so I will be using them from now on and will just do an extended (65 hour) fast once a month.
We are on the same page. I was 159 pounds this morning (Mother's day feast and overdoing it yesterday) and will be doing OMAD for a couple of days to get back down.1 -
That makes a lot of sense! Add me to the list for this maintenance plan1

I’m really enjoying water fasting, with the use of a potassium/sodium concoction. So nice to feel empty and allow my body rest a bit.Brendalea69 wrote: »I over did it yesterday and I was 129 this morning so today was an OMAD day!
Well, that is a tool. Are you going LC with that meal?

Britt you're more than welcome to join me and Tracey in this plan
Robert yes that OMAD meal was low carb and low calorie
This week I didn't do as I had planned. Three of my mindful eating days turned into splurge days and it gave me a gain of 1 pound. I Know It's not a lot but I don't want to continue to gain a pound each week or I'll end up being above my goal weight and I really don't want that to happen. I know that I can have a Splurge day once a week but 2 or 3 is too much. So today I'm back on plan and I'm not going to beat myself up over it and no one else should be beating themselves up over a slip up because OMAD will get you right back on track1 -

Yeah, OMAD is a powerful too, so is fasting. I try to not overuse the fasting, but it will correct course quickly.

By eating just an apple and 2 chicken thighs yesterday I lost that last pound for the week. Goes to show that OMAD really low calorie and low carb works for me1
