Yes dear ladies you are SO right!!!! it would be pushing the body too far and no need if its working at this stage!!! plus I am not mentally ready for it nor maybe physically...
So I plan to keep on with my 23:1 today was hungry and I ate more carbs than usually but never an enormous meal stuffing me up... its all quite balance and harmonious...
thanks so much for your positive feedback and words of wisdom! Much love!!!

    Hello buddies!

I continue with OMAD I haven´t splurge or anything like that since I started 2 weeks or more ago. Haven´t weight myself since last time but I feel I am loosing volume... stretched trousers started feeling less tight yesterday hurrey. Feel I´ve been loosing abdominal volume

I have been observing my patterns and needs for more carbs. Two days ago I really felt the need to eat much more carbs than usual in my OMAD and so I did, what happened was that for 2 days I didn´t fancy hardly any carb...so I went along with that in my food choices. Now today I am starting to feel more enclined to eat carbs on my omad meal. Well maybe its natural a fluctuation in tastes and desires so I am going along with it.

My food choices are 95% super healthy and organic (bio) anyway so I am happy with it.

I recently watched Joe´s latest video with his advice to stick with OMAD and not jump from fast to fast. Great piece of advice!!! thanks Joe!!!

Knee is still hurting from a fall so I haven´t resumed my walking but will be soon. I had just started doing 2 miles fitness walk 1 mile per time (Leslie sansone´s videos) and didn´t feel any problems doing them which is great.
MY stretching exercices are showing greater flexibility day by day which is great!

Much love to all and good luck on your goals!

Barb, wow, that's just awesome! I really think it's great that you haven't weighed in yet, but yet you're so in tune with your body that you trust the process and have other ways to tell that you're losing. Sounds like you are also in tune with what your body needs and eating 95% healthy is awesome!

I watched Joe's latest video, too, it was fantastic. I haven't had very many splurges since starting OMAD, not because I don't want to, just haven't felt the need. I'd say maybe two, true splurge days and the other times were controlled with eating crap, but within calorie limits. lol

Good luck to you on your goals as well! :-)

Barb, you are doing good avoiding the scale for now. Sometimes those numbers can drive you crazy and have you in a tizzy for no real reason. How your clothes feel is a good way to determine if progress is being made. You are doing great so far. Stick with it and you will definitely see results.

Yes dear ladies!!!! Sticking with it! Also Joe´s videos are really motivational!... puts me back on track or if I am already on track it makes me even more on track he seems so goal oriented just what I need to keep myself there!!!
so thanks Joe if you get to read this!!!

And thank you also for being able to follow your progress and get inspired by other co-Omaders! (wow we are creating a new language here LOL)

This was too yummie I could hardly finish it... Next time I will put less pasta... but again I didnt eat my buiscuits afterwards nor my cacao so I balanced it out...
Was too good... organic lettuce, rucula, spinach, tomato, onion, purple cabbage, oregano, ACV, Olive oil, pasta and tuna fish and 1 boiled egg. I love my salads!

Lovely salad. I love salads too! You may try bike riding or stationary bike riding or swimming tell your knee gets better. Those are far more forgiving on the joints and feet. Good luck.

    OMAD meal today:
half a salad same ingredients as yesterday plus bits of cheese, walnuts... thin crackers rye-sesame with some butter and smoked salmon filets, 2 biscuits and 1 cacao drink with xylitol (birch )

I tried today 2 tea spoons of potatoe starch red mill´s on half a glass of water, and took 1 big spoon of kefir yogurt.

Lunch didnt filled me up in the least but didn´t fancy eating more. Not sure how many calories was this but not too much... I recon the smoked salmon was fulfilling. Its almost 22 pm and I am not having my usual mini hunger signals which are very bareable.

This morning it was harder for me felt hungrier perhaps due to the salad the day before. Still have few hours to go till tomorow 2PM.

I have a healing session to do tomorrow and a full days course that I am giving to a student ...lets see how it all goes. Wll have to break and eat my lunch still need to prepare it...
Maybe I will go for eggs and piece of cheese and beans (Joe´s option in one of his videos). Or else I have prepared some quinoa and rice with beans.. that could do...with some ham..

Will weight myself on tuesday morning...by the levels of mini hunger I recon I am loosing weight.

I weight myself this morning I droppe 3 kilos 6pounds in 20 days OMAD.
Well... I thought I had lost more ... or else my mental expectations..if I go so relatively slowish in the first month how much slower can it get in the next months when the body adapts to this? uh???...I know negative mental rambling.

The fact is I feel super good and I love it and plan to stick to it. Haven´t had any desire for binging or splurging or breaking the rhythm and my food choices are improving by the day.

Feeling less inflamed, more clear, nails growing like mad, more energy, less discomfort in stomach after eating..

So I am moaning the speed of loss not moaning about the overall benefits of OMAD which I love...

Will carry on feeling how my body reacts and make food choices in accordance.

My meals these 20 days have been including everything... rice, pasta chiken, fish, green veggies, lots of salads as for sweets a natural biscuit and organic black chocolate or cacao not in big quantities.

I ate till I felt satisfied. My desire for food shrinks by the day.
Its just that I thought that with all the weight I need to loose I´d loose much more in the first month than what I am doing but I am menopausal...go figure

Thank you ladies, yes but when I see the boys loose so easily I get COMPETITIVE hahah!
oh well.. I am upping my physical activity now focused on doing some miles here and there throughout the day without stressing myself too much...(Watched Joe´s video and thread on exercising when you have lots to loose)... But again 2 years ago I started dropping volume quite fast just by doing leslie sansone´s 1 mile walk ( I did up to 3 miles per day 1 mile at a time)..

Yeah, it's so not fair that men lose so fast and it seems like we have to struggle for every gram!

Thank you Sandy , Mini, Tracey!

I am thrilled started leslie sansone´s fitness walk doing so far 2 miles a day plus other bits of exercise and stretching and my range of stretch is improving by the days. My recovery time from exercise is also very short in comparison with before fasting I am thrilled because in spite of my weight I can totally do her 1 mile walk now and then all thru the day..looking forward to 3 miles today and soon 4 miles spread thru the day (dont see me yet doing a long workout program need to build strength and stamina)... But hey...I am hooked to the walk and hooked to the OMAD I love it, its DOABLE! YEAHHHHHHHHHHH off I go flying to reach my goals!

Yay for loose trousers! Mine are pretty much all stretchy (mostly workout pants) so I haven't seen any change yet... :-( I guess at least it'll be cheaper in clothing costs!

I know minigrrll, my trousers are also stretchy it took some time to start feeling them looser... but now that I am on a mission to do fitness walking I can really feel things shifting for me... in terms of volume... it happend in the past without dieting and now with OMAD the sky is the limit!!!..Today goal: 3 miles

No, don't be sad! I have went down and the majority of clothes were huge on me EXCEPT my workout pants. 40 pounds down and they still cling to me. hahaha I think it's the material or something, who the heck knows. :-)
