I'm pretty bummed. I just canceled my registration for the New York Marathon tomorrow. I'm still ailing and my lungs are still full of gunk. On the bright side, I get guaranteed entry next year. But it is my favorite marathon so it's disappointing. Oh well, may I live long enough and be healthy enough to try again next year!2 -

... after a woeful October (where I literally only managed 1 run/trip to the gym ) I am back! Still recovering from a sore foot - which was part of the reason for my lack of @$$ moving) but hoping to ease myself back in ...
... going to try for 30 running miles this month. Managed to start the month off with a slow 3 mile run! That’s more than I managed for the whole of last month so go me!!!

@JTH11706 - that must be so disappointing for you. But as @anaconda said - you are a strong woman and next year you’ll rock the NYM. In the meantime, get well!
