Fantastic loss, considering you weren't logging your food last week, just mindfully choosing what to eat instead!! Nicely done!!2 -
Well, I’ve been too ashamed to get on here since Saturday. I just really lost my will to do this. I’m ready to start back at it, though! Tomorrow’s a new day!

We all have these mental set backs....it's not going to be smooth sailing all the way to goal weight. There will be ups and there will be downs. As long as you never quit...success is still within your grasp!! Yes, tomorrow is a new day!! Every tomorrow is a new day!! Don't ever feel embarrassed for slipping. This is a safe place to vent and to ask for support. Glad you are back!!3 -

That’s a great encouragement, @HASWLRS
Thank you. I know it wasn’t for me but we can all use your encouraging words. I have been feeling extremely unmotivated for some reason, not logging or anything. Not sure what my deal is but I appreciate this safe place where everyone has the ups and downs.2 -
Weigh-in
Previous weight: 180.6 lbs
Today's weight: 179.0 lbs
Lots of milestones hit this week:
- I'm out of the obese category and into to just overweight
- I'm down to my prepregnancy weight (only took 16 years, ha!)
- I'm into those size UK12 jeans that I bought before Christmas as my next goal jeans
- I was jammer for an entire game (requires a lot of endurance) and was awarded a Best Jammer certificate at our last roller derby game
- I had 2 interviews and had to buy new interview clothes as even the smallest interview clothes I had were HUGE on me
So all in all a pretty damn good week!5 -

So happy for you, Karyn!! Yes it was a VERY good week, but that week was the culmination of the months of hard work that you put in to get you to that week!! And only in a setting such as this, can one say, "congratulations on being overweight" and not get their teeth handed to them!! I hope your interviews went well!! I am assuming the confidence you were exuding in your new interview clothes would help immensely!3 -

Thank you for saying so, Holly!
There are many people in this group who are having much success in their fitness and weight loss journey and it is inspiring to be a part of it. But even they will have setbacks, and if this is a safe place to get support, then those setbacks are only temporary. There are people in this group who are currently floundering, but someone else's success, or just the right phrase that resonates with them could be the spark that they need, and that is also inspiring to be a part of!
@holly2e, dig deep, my friend. You are so close to goal that the "urgency" that others that have more to lose may feel, will have to come from within.1 -

@HASWLRS that’s so true. I need to find my motivation within. Maybe my problem is that I don’t want to reach my goal weight and be kicked out of this group! Haha. Honestly I feel like we should be paying you, you’re such an inspiring leader. I hope that you know you’re really helping people.4

Holly, you can stay as long as you want!!!0 -
I’m not going to have desserts or snacks (unless truly hungry) until next Monday. I’m going to report it here everyday with MUAC for accountability! Thanks!0
