Hello Team Slimsons,
Welcome Old members and new members to APRIL'S CHALLENGE!!!
My name is Gloria @gjaholy33 I will be your co-captain for this month.
I will be helping Ashley (AB0215) your Captain of The Slimsons with motivating everyone and in charge of THE (OPTIONAL)MINI CHALLENGE
We are also running an optional mini-challenge within the Slimsons team again this month.
First an introduction:
I am 39 years old and trying to lose 75lbs by my graduation for my master's degree and before my 40th birthday. I have been disable due to a work injury in 2015 and need to lose weight in order to get better as I am severely obese. Just to encourage those who are struggling with staying on track I have been trying to get healthy since 2010 and it's a constant struggle but I've learn to set short attainable goals in order to succeed. There are a lot of days which the pain is unbearable but since I am determine to lose 200lbs I know I have to Stay positive and look forward and not back at what I did yesterday.
I am currently STRUGGLING JUST TO MAINTAIN FROM DAY TO DAY on my weightloss journey. BUT I HAVE BEEN PRAYING AND MEDITATING MORE IN ORDER TO REMAIN POSITIVE WHICH TO ME IS KEY TO BEING SUCCESSFUL AT MY GOALS. ALTHOUGH I am surprised that I'm still losing weight. I am actually join www.healthywage.com and place a bet that I'll lose 199lbs in 18 months. So far I have been dropping the pounds but I jist keep my focus on one day and sometimes one meal at a time.
I always set goals for myself and this month my goal is to lose 10lbs!
So if you take anything from me as your Co-captain this month please REMEMBER YOU MAY ALWAYS START OVER AT THE NEXT MEAL! LET'S STAY POSITIVE! ESPECIALLY DO NOT GIVE UP!

Hi team, I'm Bryce from East coast Australia. I joined the Slimsons last October at 307lb and I'm now 248.6lb My goal is to get under 200 just as soon as I reasonably can. Not sure how often I will be around the internet this month, but I'll always say hi when I can.
Good to see some of our established crew and a warm welcome to our new members. Have a great April everyone!

Today was stressful as I spent most of the afternoon trying to figure out how to fix my car. Sometimes I miss living in the city and being able to take public transit. Ugh. Anyhow, stress=eating more chocolate than I should have. I made dinner a little lighter to make the sweets fit in my calorie budget, so it worked out. And yes, the chocolate helped my stress levels lol

Exercise: 45 min Housework-sweeping/mopping/vacuuming. Also 7000 steps. (Not bad for a Sunday)

Hello April team
I joined team Simpson in January. I feel this checking in everyday help me be accountable. when I slip or struggle I know I’m not alone and everyone here is helpful and supportive.
I realized today that I am farther away from my goal than I every said I would allow myself. So I signed up for 30 day fitness app. Let’s see how many days I can stick with it. And need to start going back to the gym and swimming when weather permits

Exercise Kind of half a block intentional walk besides the over 20,000 steps at work.
Water I'm hoping to get to 44 oz before I fall asleep.
I've been tired all day because I didn't get to really drink my coffee until I sat down after 4pm to roll silverware. Easter Brunch at work today was busy and made for a very early long day.
