My trainer likes to torture me with jump rope, it's a great exercise, but weird how hard it is after like 15 years...0 -

Day/Goals:Up nearly 3lb over last weeks weigh in, with less than 24 hrs to go, pretty dissapointed as I've not had a lazy week or eaten over budget. Consistent 1600cal days with one 1800 day early in the week. All of which should be way under the BMR of a guy my size. I suppose my body is handling an injury.. But really body, 3lb for crying out loud.

That's how my body is handling the back strain, it added a few lbs, to be fair, I did eat a lot on Tuesday, but yeah. I eat well under my BMR and then exercise on top of it, my body is just stubborn....maybe yours is too2 -

Congrats on not only hitting your step goal but for setting achievable short term goals for yourself0 -

When I need a chocolate fix, and I do sometimes, I eat lilys dark chocolate chips, they're low in carbs and sugar (not sugar free as chocolate isn't completely sugar free) and help curb my chocolate cravings. I find these either on Amazon or there is one grocery store near me that carries them, but they're a great chocolate snack Lilys Dark Chocolate Chips I always keep some in the house. I use them in cookies, but also to snack on if I'm really needing a quick chocolate fix.
I think there are also chocolate bars made by Lily's, but I've never tried them before.

You know, there's nothing really bad about the occasional choc treat, as long as it's in your calorie budget and not just an extra treat on top. A milk choc bar is made from Cocoa solids, Milk solids and sugar. I usually do what AB0215 does and leave out the milk and sugar in favor of enjoying the cocoa solids on their own. And if I really crave milk choc, I seek out a little choc flavored protein bar like this one. I don't know the brands they sell in your neck of the woods, but I'm sure there will be something similar.

Not a great week, I'm blaming TOM, but I should be blaming my lack of will power this week. I ate way more than I should have.1
