    Track yes
    Calories way under
Exercise 60 minutes in the pool for aquafit
    Water 90 oz

Favourite workout - About a month ago, I would have said anything in the pool...no question. But I have started to love pound class and it is probably tied as my favourite! That is quit shocking to me! Haha!

Ugh I fell off the wagon for a few days because I had been so exhausted. Thankfully, we seem to be past that phase. Here is an intro for the newcomers- I started keto on 2/27 and I’m currently down about 12 pounds. I have had some trouble with acclimating to it due to fatigue (and gallbladder issues) but like I said, I think that’s over! I was doing the 21 day fix workouts from BeachBody but need to fid my motivation again. I got through 2 weeks of them then puttered out. I am hoping to restart them this week. Weigh in day for me is Thursdays. I am hoping May is the month I can drink enough water daily. My husband just bought me a big 40oz travel mug that keeps drinks cold for 24 hrs. My goal is to fill it twice per day and drink it!

Weigh in week: May Week 1
    Weigh in day: Thursday
    Previous Weight: 161.2
    Current Weight: 161.8

I am currently carrying about 2 lbs of bloat. But it will be gone with a little extra (hopfully) next week! I am so close to the 150s, I can taste it. hahahaha

Also, how is it May already!?!?

@AB0215 and @JJKM02 I joined all of those groups you mentioned and looking forward to giving Keto a try. Even if I can just eliminate all the processed, unhealthy foods would be a win.

@gemwolf110 I really hope you like it as much as I do. It was a game changer for me. It was a bit hard for the first couple weeks until I got fat-adapted (loss of strength and stamina at first), but I have never looked back.

    Question of the week
Fave workout is definately body pump. 1 hour of lifting weights to awesome music.
@jennfalzon1979 Lifting weights is my favorite :)
    Question of the Week:
What is your favorite Workout or Activity?
    Hiking and Dancing ♡
@River_Goddess I've never been hiking, sounds like it could be fun, dancing...not so much...at least not for me, but it's great exercise :)

@JJKM02 I've never seen a pound class, but a lot of you guys seem to like them.

I used to have trouble with the water intake too, I'm just never thirsty. At first I got an app to remind me, then after I got too used to that, I got 3 1 ltr jugs and I fill them all 3 up every morning and drink all 3 by the end of the day. You will get it this month though :)

@AB0215 I generally go to the ropes course alone. I've tried to get friends and family interested, but nobody is. At first it was a bit unsettling out there all by myself, but I've gotten over that. I just enjoy it way too much and cant keep away. And every once in a while, some little girl will point at me and comment, or I'll get to have a conversation with a kid who is struggling on a lower course - and it feels really good to make that connection with them.

@AB0215 I live in a majestic mountain valley, surrounded by rivers and glacier lakes and mountain ranges for days. It's pretty remote living but I love it. You kinda have to love hiking to stay sane around here, haha

@mexiconona I didn't really like swimming until year before last, even though I grew up with a pool, but now I really appreciate it for some reason.

Goals: Deadlift day, been spring cleaning and today was floor day. Finally got around to waxing my hardwood floors, they look so much better now. You know, you never really realize how much work goes into maintaining a house until you have one, 4 years later, still learning. Still have 1 day left to finish my spring cleaning and tomorrow promises to be the easiest day since I only have a few tasks left.

Hi team, back in town again.
@River_Goddess Oooh, that is a sweet view. I'm also up in some remote mountains, but not near an edge :) Currently winning an argument with some blackberry. (The nasty kind) and working on building a treehouse cabin in my little forest lot.

@keri8680 Hopefully your body has become fully keto adapted because the endless tank of energy is one of the best bits about it. GL with your hydration goals.

@ka97 So glad you're back and I'm still super envious of your ropes course.

Right with you on that one.. This year seems to be gaining momentum. Go for those 150's :)

@gemwolf110 love the way you're doing your research before diving into a new way of eating. Definitely a recipe for success.

@AB0215 What you said back on page 5 about forming good routines really resonated with me. I've been on a forced rest for the last week or so and it's thrown me completely out of whack. Where once I thought I might prefer not being locked into a pattern, I find that I now crave it. It's just easier to maintain a good pattern than constantly have to challenge myself to make the right choices and find the enthusiasm for what needs doing. I'm so done resting, I want my pattern back.

Also... really struggling with the concept that you have never been hiking.. I'm just... how? lol

Well, my week has been rubbish.. I achieved my goal of maintaining weight last month, but came out of it carrying an injury that simply would not heal without rest. So this week I plunged myself into the double whammy of not burning nearly as many calories as well as trying to eat a lower budget. I feel its fair to say I failed. I just couldn't flip the switch and say ok body now you can go back to sparse rations.. Body sent hunger hormones and they won.
So I successfully rested for the week, but did not manage the budget properly for the first time in months. I'll be surprised if I haven't gained on tomorrows weigh in.

Having said all that, I was able to get back to work today and had a fantastic day of maximum productivity. Spent about 5 hours in my optimal aerobic calorie burning heart rate zone.

    3fu11ky362tw.jpg

And that brings me to my answer for the question of the week. I just love good old fashioned work. My day was relocating the firewood pile, scrubbing out my new slide on camper, carting steel down to the shed and just general busy time getting things done that can only be done when I'm back in town for a few days. I've decided I can't stand gym equipment and am about to put my whole setup up for sale. I suppose much of this is about lifestyle choice. But when there is so much to do, what do I need machines that simulate doing things for. I'm going to keep all the free weights tho. So I can target specific muscle groups that may not get worked on during day to day tasks.

@Fyreside So, not only have I never been hiking, I've also never been to a beach (and I may be checking that off my list next month, but I'm not looking forward to it, pasty girls don't do well in the sun). I HAVE however been to the top of a mountain, but I can promise you there was no hiking involved, instead, a tram, which was a fun ride.

As for the routines, I find that I stick to things more if I make it a routine, like scheduling my workouts, and I have a spreadsheet for those, I tend to have a food schedule, it all works out so much better for me if I do that, the scheduling sounds weird, but for me, it's the only way I succeed.

Oh I get it completely. At first scheduling things seems like a drag. Like it might be more work.. But the crazy twist is it's less work in the end. It's just easier to go step A.B...C than day after day find the resolve to make good decisions. Then your body starts to get used to the pattern and before you know it, healthy routine is what feels best. I've only recently discovered the real value of routine and find myself wanting to schedule more of my options.

And yep, I'm doing the pasty thing here too.. I recently got sunburned through my clothes while welding :/ Even when I'm rockin an epic beach bod, I will still be that guy wearing a shirt in the surf lol. Recently discovered the joys of spray on, non greasy sun block. That stuff is so much win.

@Fyreside I discovered that my niece's baby sunscreen is what I need, that stuff, although a little greasier, actually works, until I forget to reapply it.

Today. I stepped on the scale and was 181.6. Weekends are always my nemesis (pizza night tonight) but I am 1.6 pounds away from losing 60 pounds.
What’s crazy is that when I started back in July, I never thought this would happen because I tried so many times to lose weight.
I have 20 lbs left. I believe this community has helped as I really stepped it up since joining in November. So. Thank you all!!

@jennfalzon1979 I'm so happy for you!! I think a little support when you're trying to reach your goals goes a long way and I think that sharing your goals with a group like this one where we are all trying to do the same helps too. I'm so glad you're getting close to your goal!!

@Fyreside I'm all about the routine! I eat pretty much the same breakfast, snack, and lunch (at least during the workweek) and live by my workout calendar. Injuries and required rest has been my downfall! It's like my body can't recognize the fact that it doesn't need the amount of calories that it's used to - and you just can't eat 30 miles worth of calories if your not actually running 30 miles per week.

It's a rest day. I'm tired. I know I need it, and I'm happy to take it. But.....
Didn't track calories. And I was exceptionally hungry this morning. I'm most likely over calories for today.

It was supposed to be a weigh in day. I never did get a new scale. So I tried using the old one. It said I was 122lbs.:lol::lol: So I guess I'm going scale shopping tonight and will weigh tomorrow morning. I hate weighing after a rest day.

@jennfalzon1979 So cool to see someone closing in on their goals. FWIW, I think you've been one of this teams strongest contributors and definitely an inspiration in the get up and do something dept. I have this theory that the people who put the most into the team are the ones who get the most out of it too.

@ka97 I have a funny same snack story. Aldi sells these little mini protein bars which I like. Great for something quick when I'm off grid. Yesterday, doing a stockup, I'm standing there working out how many I can afford to put on this fortnight's shop. There are a couple of young kids next to me choosing a toothpaste brand. I pick up two mini choc bars and put them in my bag.. Then another two. and another.. one more in the bag.. Aww bugger it, pick up the box and tip the remaining bars into my bag. Satisfied that I now have all the mini choc bars I turn to move on and look down at this little girl standing there wide eyed and open mouthed staring at the man with the bag full of mini choc bars. I couldn't help but lol.

Well, today I'm off to a country town that has a heavy horse show running this weekend. I really don't know if they have similar shows around the world. I assume so, but not sure. The sort of thing where breeders and farmers from the district bring their prize animals and produce to town one day a year and show it off etc. But this show is all about big horses and people come from around the country and even overseas for it. I'm expecting quite a lot of walking.
