I didn’t post yesterday, but I did have a busy day. Went to pound class in the morning, a lacrosse game in the afternoon, and some cleaning in between. I didn’t track my calories yesterday, but I don’t think I was over and ate well. I did drink about 90 oz of water.

    Daily post for Sunday
    Track yes
    Calories under
Exercise 35 minute walk with the puppies
Water still working on it, but on track for 100oz

    congratulations @CourtneyLomonaco !

Busy weekend here! I took my 10 year old niece to the ropes course yesterday. It was so much fun sharing that with her, even though it meant I didn't get to go on the black diamond course. She had no fear and did really well!!!

This morning I ran 8 miles. I had planned 6, but then missed yesterday's run because I overslept. So I added a couple of miles to day. It felt soooo good to do a longer run. I know my PT would not be happy, but....so be it.

    Daily Post Sunday
    tracked - no
    calories - not sure
exercise - 8 mile run

    Question of the week

Tree top trekking. I was always too over weight to do it. But this summer the hubby and I are going and I can’t wait!

So my Mother in law is obsessed with US Politics and Donald Trump. Which boggles my mind because we are Canadian. She despises Trump and posts stuff constantly on Facebook about him. Check out the cake I had made for her. I can’t stop laughing.

    LOL!

Thank you all for your support! You have no idea how much it means to me and motivates me to be mindful of what I am eating!

    Question of the Week:

What activity have you not done but would like to try?

There is something called "Superfit" at my gym that I would love to try. You wear a heart rate monitor and do HIIT stuff for an hour.

Goals: As I'm sure some of you know, Down under, instead of pickup trucks, we drive utes. It's like the front half of a sedan with a pickup bed or tray on the back. A little while back I bought a {very} cheap slide on camper to use with my ute. My goal today was to make new legs for the camper to make it easier to slide on and off the ute. I was happy with the way they turned out, however I then attempted to test them on a nearly flat spot and discovered some near catastrophic flaws in my design which render the legs dangerous on even the slightest slope.. Anyway, after nearly dropping this 1000 lb thing on the ground several times I finally dragged it back onto the ute using winches and at the end of a very long day I must return to the drawing board. All things considered it could have been worse, at least it's back on the ute and it did start raining about a minute after I finished packing up. Also my property has some very flat spots.
    Track: Yes.
    Calories: Yes.
Exercise: Oh Yes. According to my legs, it was a big leg workout day.
    Water Intake: High.

Pic of my ute.. It's a lot sportier than most. Makes around 650hp and drinks enough fuel to cause an oil crisis in my wallet.

@jennfalzon1979 lmao at the cake. I think a crazy mother in law is part of the spice of life. my ex MIL was a recluse who checked out of society to live with her peacock.

@gemwolf110 When you can eat the dog's leftovers you know your dogs are eating well. :) Any chance of a pic of the huskys?

Question of the week: Offshore ocean sailing. I have such little experience on sailing boats I honestly have no idea if I will even enjoy it or just be one of those people who spends two weeks hanging over the side wishing they could die. But I have a real bee in my bonnet about going sailing to far away lands and it is one of my big motivations towards becoming lighter and fitter.

    Question of the Week:
I've been wanting to try stand up paddleboarding. I haven't been able to get anyone to join me though.

    Daily Post:
    Track - yes
Calories - so far so good
Exercise - nope, unplanned rest day

A colleague would not stop talking to me at the end of the day, despite my attempts to subtly indicate that I was trying to leave. I got home 45 minutes later than planned, and at that point just wasn't up for a run. I had a rest day planned for Thursday, so now I'm shuffling things around.

    Track. Yes
    Calories. Under
Exercise. 1 hour step class. 50 mins elliptical
    Water 88 ounces

I caved and had popcorn tonight. My husband is working late nights this week. The old me would be like “ok. What type of unhealthy foods am I going to eat”. New me...hits the gym. It’s hard though with 3 kids in tow. Especially my youngest is cutting her top teeth. What’s funny is now I just regret eating it. Ah well. Tomorrow is another day.

Well I fell off the posting daily wagon a couple weeks ago. Hoping to be more diligent now.
    Monday daily post-
    Track- yes
    Calories- perfect
    Exercise- no
Water- yes! My hubby bought me a 40oz hot/cold travel mug last week and I’ve filled it twice and my second refill will be gone by bedtime.

Question of the week- I have always wanted to go hiking/backpacking and camping in the woods for an extended period of time. I read the book “Wild” for my book club last summer and it was about hiking the Pacific Coast trail and very inspiring! I’m not usually into nonfiction too!!

I'd love to do a multi day kayaking trip or multi day biking trip, but don't know if I'll ever get there.
I'd love to try rock climbing. I can belay well but never really felt confident enough to climb.

    Daily Post (Monday)

Goals: I did not get up in enough time this morning to get everything accomplished I needed to. Today I started a new job, but last weekend I had a house guest so I didn't do my meal prep until this morning. I'm still a bit behind, but almost caught up. Just got back from the gym, definitely prefer going to the gym in the morning, but I'm thinking that this week, I'm just not going to be ready to get up early enough to do that. I need to get back into a routine that involves working...and sadly, I'm not sure I want to, although, I'm working from home, so I like my uniform (PJs), literally, just had to put on clothes to go to the gym, sadly.

    Track: Yes

Exercise: 60 minutes, leg day. Squats--210 lbs this week, 90% of my max.
