Daily Post: (Friday)
Goals:I ate more than I needed to today, maybe my biggest cal intake since I started. Not more than my Net, but if I'm honest, more than I really needed to satisfy hunger. I think there is a bit of comfort eating in that as my weight was lowest on Tues and I've been watching it climb every day lol. I will be up this week, but there is nothing I can do about it. I'm burning a pile of calories every day and putting on muscle all over. I'm actually at the point where the things I need to lift and move feel easier to work with.
Track: Yes
Calories:Yes
Exercise:Good solid day. Lots of holding heavy things up in place for lengths of time. The muscle burn was real.
Water Intake: Yes
While the scales continue to disappoint, I did have a huge non scale victory this week. As temps plummet here thanks to an Antarctic wind cell, I got out some heavy work trousers that I generally avoid wearing as I used to have to take a really deep breath, suck in my gut and force myself into them. This time I put them on and they were like clown pants. Yesterday they were falling down on me again and I went to adjust to find that I was on the last hole in that belt already.4 -

Calories:Under
Exercise: Total Body Sculpt class
Water Intake: 96 oz
Hoping tomorrow's weigh in does not disappoint!1 -
Daily post for Friday
Track- just finished
Calories- slightly higher than I like but nothing to worry about! We had chicken wings for dinner- yum yum and exciting that its an approved meal on keto!
Exercise- chasing my toddler up and down the street in her big wheel about 20 minutes and then some minimal yard work with the hubby. He waits until the grass is out of control and we have a field of dandelions before he mows so it makes it thatmuch more work1 -
Daily Post Friday
Track. Yes
Calories. Under (but made not so healthy choices)
Exercise. 7 hours of intense yard work
Water. 70 ounces1 -
@Fyreside nice nsv! Clothes getting too baggy is one way to show you that your on the right track!!1
-
@ssssanaaaa nice weight loss! I’m sure you will see the 180s in no time.2
-
@Fyreside that is such a fantastic NSV!! How much have you lost?? I love when cclothes that were once too small become too big. You must be feeling great!
I too am expecting a gain this week. Despite breaking my Fitbit steps record for both Day and Week, I took 3 days off logging and anticipate I will pay for that at the scale. Oh well, I needed the short break and I'm back in the groove now.1 -
Mexiconona May 11th Friday weigh in day , 150.8
Tracking yes
Calories yes
Exercise yes. Working in garden two hours, walking 20 min, necknexercises 10 min.
Completed clean fast 22hr. 44 min.
My goal next week is to get into the 140’s. I keep dancing around 150! It is definitely my plateau!

Daily Post Friday
Tracked? YES!! Yay. Back on track.
Calories? Under by a landslide due to high steps day
Exercise? Walked to work. Walked all day at work. Walked home from work. Walled to the store and back, then all around the house as I cleaned... over 20,000 steps. (Car troubles are apparently good for me)
Water? 8+ cups
And 8 hours sleep! Wahoo!!

Not that great of a loss this week, but I still lost some! Stay positive team!1 -
Okay guys--I fell off the wagon yesterday, well not so much off my diet as I was just hungry and ate a LOT more than I usually eat or feel like eating. I really need to get used to my new dynamics. I've been so used to being active and running around to keep me from eating, now I work from home and the kitchen is like 10 feet away, and it's really not helping me. I will get a handle on it, just apparently not this week. It's so weird how changing your routine kills your momentum, but it really does.
Anyways, have a trainer session this morning, need to think about my food choices today, have a graduation party later and I need to be in control. Apparently, the food options are going to be a nacho bar, which isn't a great keto option, but I can always make a taco salad instead of nachos, which might be happening. Or I'm going to eat before I go, which is usually how I handle food choices.
Trying to convince myself I have this, but the last 48 hours have proved I am not in control like I want to me. I'm blaming TOM, but that will only take me so far. Part of it is still my lack of control, but today is a new day and I can do better than yesterday.

Happy Saturday Team!!

Sorry guys. It's just been a tough week all over - tired, low motivation, workouts suck, and weight is up. I'm blaming TOM, because I don't know what else to think. At least the eating hasn't been bad, though there has been a glass of wine almost every day.
On the positive.....ran 8 miles again today, with no signs of IT band flareup. I skipped yesterdays run which means I won't hit 20miles for the week, but I'm moving in that direction.2 -

Track?: Yes. I tried even though some stuff was hard to quantify.
Calories: Under calorie goal according to my calculations so I'm pretty sure but not entirely sure.
Exercise: A lot of random walking/carrying stuff but not an intentional work out.
Water: Not enough.
Comments: So I went to a graduation banquet for my club and had Somali food for the first time which was really good! I knew I was going to eat food later on so I just had a small breakfast then got busy helping prepare and set up for the banquet, bring the food from the caterer then had the Somali food for dinner. I'm pretty sure I stayed under my calorie goal but really can't be sure since obviously nothing was labeled. I shared a piece of cake with my friend. And overall feel pretty good about yesterday. Even if I wasn't under my goal (which is 1200) I was probably over by only a couple hundred at most and I'm fine with that. Still at deficit. And on top of that I was 192.5 on the scale this morning so that was reassuring too.
Also, NSV, I didn't have any soda. I've realized that drinking up your calories is so easy and I'm not even a soda/drink girl in general so it's pointless. I don't really enjoy it that much. Reward<Cost for me.1 -
Daily Post: (Saturday)
Goals:In a move that is borderline idiotic. After previous gift plans fell through, I decided to throw my already over-full to do list to one side and make a gift for my mum for mothers day. She is out of town for another couple of days so I do have time, but I don't actually have the spare time to just drop everything lol.
Track: Yes
Calories:Yes
Exercise:An ok day. Too much running around town getting things, not enough actual work. got my steps goal anyway.
Water Intake: Not really. Coffee has water in it tho.. right? .. lol
Thanks to everyone who commented on my belt too long problem. Just about everything I wear has an elastic waist band of sorts, so it's easy to not notice change. But the fixed waistline of my work trousers with belt really took me by surprise. A very pleasant surprise.

Wow, was really expecting to be up. I'll take a .2 loss over a gain any day lol.
@River_Goddess Wow, 20k steps is a heck of a lot.
@gemwolf110 Looks like an awesome spot for a walk.
@AB0215 The whole working from home thing seems easy peasy.. But in reality it's bloody hard work. Surrounded by distractions, snacks and temptations of comfort. I have no doubt you will adapt and overcome the challenges because you have proven your tenacity. If I may offer a suggestion or two. Try to retain aspects of a not from home job. Eg: Get up and make the bed, dress for work, then go to work even if it is in a nearby room. Only take breaks you would be happy for someone working for you to take. And most importantly, at the end of the work day, remember to clock off for the day. These little rituals really help the brain to draw some lines in the sand.
@ka97 & @KatieWW Middle of the month, it's the perfect time to just take a moment and focus on why you started your journey in the first place. Tomorrow begins a brand new week. Have a great week 3.

I couldn't help myself.. So because I should be in the shed working, I decided to photoshop one of Gemwolf's pictures instead lol. I don't know if it was a plastic bag or a hat, but it didn't belong in that tree so I picked it up and moved the car.

Chill night. Cheers everyone

Oh man. I spent the entire day deep cleaning my house... moving furniture to sweep and wash floors... every surface wiped and washed... all laundry and dishes done. I don't often meet my step goal on Saturday as I take the weekends to rest, but I'm at 17k already and it's only 6pm. I think I've got some guilt free Netflix/art time tonight!! Hahaha3

Mexiconona. Saturday
Track yes
Calories yea
Exercise no
I fasted clean for 24 hrs.3 -
Daily Post Saturday
Tracked? Yep!
Calories? Under!
Exercise? Vigorously cleaned for 6 hours!
Water? Over 10 cups
Sleep? 8.5 hours
I'm expecting a gain tomorrow, as I struggled with logging earlier this week... but am feeling firmly back on track and am not going to sweat the scale.
I love the accountability of this group and the daily interaction. Way to go everybody3 -

I'm so jealous of how productive you were! Nice job! I obviously don't love the cleaning itself but the feeling of sitting in a house after you've deep cleaned it is unlike any other lol.2 -

It's true. I feel so light and peaceful. I truly believe cleaning a space moves energy and clears psychic clutter/debris. I am feeling more positive and hopeful about my otherwise stressful life circumstances, and the only difference is that my house is clean2 -

Completely agree! I'm the exact same.0 -
I'm with you girls on the clean feeling. I spend quite a lot of time at this desk on my computer, and sometimes I find myself with a gnawing angst.. bordering on aggro. And it's always because the desk has become too busy and cluttered. The tidy up always leads to a whole room clean and that feeling of joy it brings.
@mexiconona So how does your hunger level go through a 24 hour fast? I really enjoy 16hr fasting, but I'm usually ready for food when the eating window opens.2 -

What a pleasant surprise!! I thought I'd gain this week because I didn't log for 3-4 days.
I suppose the 110,000 steps I look over the past 6 days might have helped??
Off I go for a long walk to my pottery studio. I have to put the kiln on and my car is in the shop so... gonna be another high steps day!!

Daily Post: Saturday
Track?: Yes.
Calories: Over by 100 calories.
Exercise: No.
Water: Around 50 ounces.
Comments: So I'm actually pretty proud of myself for yesterday because I was only over by 100 calories which is really good for someone like me who loved to sabotage herself on the weekends lol. Also 192.3 on the scale this morning and I notoriously had my weight fluctuate up during the weekends when I first decided to start losing weight so not only maintaining but losing a little makes me feel really good! I know I'm going to be a little over today as well but I'm definitely planning on staying under my maintenance calories! And then back to work on Monday! Today's a study day since I have a physics and genome exam this week but I'm in a good mood anyway lol0 -
