Sorry @darkrider42. It’s been too long and I forgot to add my total! Thanks for the reminder. Here’s my update.
5/14 - 3.6 miles
5/15 - 4.33 miles
5/16 - 1.25 miles
5/17 - 4.46 miles
5/18 - 1.65 miles
5/19 - .80 miles
Total=16.091 -
@darkrider42 I’d like to change my goal from 60 miles to 50 miles for this month. I started too late in the month and I hate to admit it but there’s no way for me to make it to 60 miles by the end of the month. I’m not sure I can hit 50 but feel like it’s a more realistic goal.0

@k80flec: He needs to be dropped from something but it’s not the Christmas card list...lol.
@anaconda469: Good old Mt. St. Helen’s where Harry R Truman refused to leave his lodge and was buried by the lava flow during the eruption.
Yeah, Harry was a friend of my dad who was a professional logger and faller. We had family camp trips to Harry's lodge 2-3 times a summer growing up. I will be bicycling up Spirit Lake Memorial Highway with my son this August.1 -

05/10 - rest?
05/11 - rest? I'm pretty sure I walked or something, but don't remember what.
05/12 - 1.2m walk with Cora and Molly, i.e. the dogs
05/13 - 4.0m hike with dogs
05/14 - 0.8m walk with dogs; 6.8m bike ride - the dogs were extremely uncooperative when I took them for a walk, so we cut it short and I went for a ride. So much better..
05/15 - 2.0m walk with dogs
05/16 - 9.6m ride after work; 1.2m walk with dogs
05/17 - 1.6m walk with dogs
05/18 - 2.0m walk with dogs
05/19 - 1.2m walk with dogs; 1.2m bike run with Molly**; 9.3m solo ride
TMD miles >>58.1/60
**Molly is my new workout partner. I adopted her in March. I think she has greyhound in her because she loves to run. I have been wanting the let her run when I go cycling, but I don't have the correct gear for that. We attempted a test run with me holding her leash as we went. No major problems, but I don't feel comfortable continuing this way. I have looked at the Walky Dog https://www.chewy.com/walky-dog-plus-bicycle-exercise-dog/dp/146032 and the Petego Cycleleash http://petego.com/Bike?product_id=999315145&color=58&size=498
Any suggestions regarding gear?
05/19 - 2.0m morning dog walk; 1.2m evening dog walk
MTD miles 62.3/651 -
I would have added more than 5 miles this weekend if the rain had just waited another 30 minutes or so each day so I could get out for a walk around the neighborhood in the afternoons. Oh well, I was able to get 5 miles, so all is not lost.
May total 76.3 miles
On the wedding front here, my oldest is marrying her match on Friday and they are hosting a party (IT IS NOT A RECEPTION) on Saturday. This is odd, I always thought I would be involved in the planning of my daughter's wedding and we are definitely not in this case. I am proud of them and glad they know what they want, but my poor hubby is not sure how to react to this "We are adults and can handle this on our own" thing. It is also funny when family members call us for information and all we can do is refer them back to the bride and groom, we don't know anything.
And yes, I know for those of you who planned and paid for the traditional weddings, you think I am lucky. Probably, but it is a strange feeling too. Not sad really, but until Friday I will not have seen the dress, the chapel, the flowers if any or anything to do with the wedding. I'm positive it will be wonderful though knowing them.2 -

CONGRATS on making GOAL, @TAXMOM9093!!! :drinker:
@CALLIOPE610 - I personally liked the first bicycle leash, the Walky Dog, better. Aside from looking like it does a better job of keeping the animal safely away from the bike, I thought the option of attaching it at a lower point on the axle was a real bonus! It would be much harder for your dog to jerk your bike around and you would feel much more stable. I had to laugh at how hard the dog in the Cycleash was pulling on the bike! It was doing its best to walk sideways!

Time for a nice long walk along the bike path today. Mild weather and a break in the thunderstorms made a pleasant walk too. I may have overdone it though, the front of both ankles feel a little tight tonight.
Added 6.5 miles for a May total of 82.75 miles
Could we up my goal to 100 miles? Love the bonus miles but it's a little early in the month for me to stay motivated.1 -

I got this in my personal email and thought there might be some interest here on MFP. This is a fundraiser for Kid's Cancer, so if it is not allowed per MFP TOS and ROR, please delete.1 -

@TAXMOM9093 - Upped your goal to 100.
@CALLIOPE610 - I don't have a problem with you posting that. I know a couple of friends locally that have ridden in that and I have donated to them. So thank you!

@taxmom9093 - Before I got married I thought weddings were for the bride and groom. During the planning I was "re-educated" to understand that weddings are really about the parents. I'm sorry your daughter didn't get the memo LOL.1 -
Went for a 3 mile run this morning. Unusually slow because I kept stopping to talk to people. I'm at 62/75.1
