Sorry that I have been inconsistent in posting. I am a high school coach and we are in the middle of a very busy fastpitch softball season (70+ games and scrimmages between Varsity and JV since August 1). Now that we are a few weeks into school, stuff is starting to calm down, so I hope to be more consistent in the future.
No problem! I understand the things that come up when school starts. Trust me!! With 5 kids IN school, lol. How long have you been coaching softball? I have a niece that played softball and went to college on a scholarship.
I have been teaching and coaching HS softball for 10 years. I also coach HS baseball in the spring and summer.1 -

Daily Post Thursday
Track: Yes
Calories: Under
Exercise: OT
Goals/day: Go to OT and not over eat. I’ve succeeded at both today. I’ve been going to OT for a year now and the progress is amazing. My resting heart rate has dropped significantly, my endurance is up, and I’m using 30-35 dumbbells compared to the 12-15s I started at a year ago.2 -
DP: 09/13 Thursday
Track: yes
Calories: under
Exercise: 3.6mile nightly walk 60mins. no running tonight ( ate just before). Park day got cancelled, my niece broke her ankle last night at gymnastics so we spent the whole day playing arcade games and making Thai basil wraps for dinner. I was going to do yard work, but I decided that I should wait until AFTER the hurricane.
Daily goals: be able to read mad libs out loud with a straight face. Timed run for new mileage tomorrow.2 -

Today was not what I had planned. After work, I ended up taking my daughter to dance, then immediately had a soccer game my son had to be at. So my wife had some pizza ready for everyone to eat as we drove and dropped off. The soccer team did such a great job they went out to get ice cream and of course I had some to celebrate with my kid. Combine that with no walking and boo. Oh well. Life happens. It was a great time and I wouldn't change it!!!1 -

What state do you live in? [/quote]
I live in GA right on the boarder of SC, so we are expecting maybe some heavy rain and wind late tonight and into Sat. UGA actually pushed up the game from 7:15pm to noon to avoid some of the expected weather. I personally don't think that we will get much of anything especially since it weakened so much....I DO expect to be picking up some tree branches out of my yard though...so just gonna save the ones that are already there from the last storm and do it all at once.1 -

Exercise: 42 minutes on the treadmill @ 3.5 speed
Goal: This was a good day and a great first full week of school however I'm exhausted. I was tired this morning but made myself get on the treadmill anyway. I also nailed 64.2 ounces of water.
My only negative is that I couldn't get more than 6 hours of sleep this week.
Have a great weekend everyone!1 -
