janna674 and VeggieGirlfor Life, I'm doing the Dry January thing too. After seeing a report that the people that did this challenge lost an average of 4.5 lbs.... yep, that's a good motivator. And while I never had a hangover, I did notice that I don't sleep as well after have a drink with dinner.3

After a ridiculously lazy weekend back to work so 6,231 steps so far.

Goal: A strength workout 3 times a week.
1/1.... 62 minutes of aerobics with Leslie.
1/2....26 minutes of Strength and Stamina by Kelly Coffee-Meyer
1/3.... rest day
1/4.... 46 minute strength workout and a 12 minute mile (total 18 with the cool down) with Leslie
1/5... 31 minutes of aerobics with Jessica Smith
1/6....32 minute yoga workout with Ellen Barrett
1/7.... 32 minutes of 4 Miracle Miles5 -
Me and my friend from work did another 15 minute video at lunch today. Had tons of housework to do so was on my feet doing something from 4 til 7...got almost 12000 steps in so Happy about that. tomorrow is my weigh in day fingers crossed!5

Hi, everyone! I looked up the Walk at Home videos out of desperation. We've had so much rain. Here are my goals for January:
10,000 steps daily
Your Daily Walk every day (I have the app)
Get back into the 160s. I'm 15lbs heavier than I was this time last year.

I also did the Bonus Burn with Rocky, but my shoulders are not happy about it. Think I better stick with the HasFit training I've been doing. Building up slowly, trying very hard not to get injured, pull a muscle, etc.

I feel your pain. I've had sleep issues most of my life. I'm doing better at falling asleep, but waking in the night and not able to get back to sleep for hours. Glad you have found something that helps.2 -
My goal is to walk 10000 steps per day. Last week I did 73000+ steps! Each day I try to do a combination of Leslie miles, walk my dogs and general walking to get to 10000 steps.4

I feel your pain. I've had sleep issues most of my life. I'm doing better at falling asleep, but waking in the night and not able to get back to sleep for hours. Glad you have found something that helps.
I actually haven't found anything that helps except wine and since I'm in a Dry January...I'm awake. I take that back, meditation does seem to help, but at night when it's time for bed, I'm too wound up to sit quietly for meditation. I know I have to readjust my evening patterns.
I think doing my exercise after work is giving me too much energy, but it's the easiest way to fit it into my work days.2 -

Did today's new years challenge video, 3 miles and done.
My husband gave up alcohol last month. He's dropped 5 pounds. I too am not drinking and have not lost 5 pounds. Life is not fair. I'm trying not to have soda though which leaves me with tea and water. We also agreed to only eat out once a month. We got pizza this week. Now no eating out until February. Cross your fingers for me to help keep my will power up.5 -

@Deeder522 Life isn't fair! Men always drop weight a lot faster it seems. You are doing a whole lot of giving things up at once, I hope you are letting yourself have something that makes you happy. I gave up sodas many years ago and since I'm doing a Dry January, I am left with water and coffee. I don't like tea. I've tried different ones and I just can't get into them. I wish you lots of luck with your goals!5
