Deeder, a pal of mine likes to say, "When motivation fails, and it will from time to time, you have to fall back on discipline." It's hard to find discipline at times too! Do what you can when you can. Sometimes just continuing to go through the motions can actually rejuvenate your motivation. Just don't give up. Your health is worth every bit of the effort you put into it. Hang in there. ((Hug))3

My muscles are feeling all that shoveling. It took me 3 hours both times to get it done. Thank God it is not snowing today.2 -

3.76 miles snow hiking with poles this morning. SO MUCH FUN! Between shoveling and hiking my muscles are sore but you know what...they are just sore muscles nothing is broken. I remember when sore muscles would put me out of play for a while and then I would not have any motivation to start again. I have ice on a swollen ankle but my plan is to be out there hiking in the snow again tomorrow. I hope by spring I have stronger legs and arms form this. The best part is that it is so peaceful and lovely. Not a soul in sight.

@texasgardnr I am doing the walks that Leslie has posted on FaceBook everyday. That is why it is a mix up I just have to add a mile or 2 on the 1 mile days. Thanks for the encouragement.3

I completely slacked on Leslie Thursday thru Sunday...I had alot of organizing to do around the house. I did up my lunchtime Leslie to the 20 minute boosted mile today though...I have keeping my steps from 9500 to 12k each day so that makes me feel good, except sunday which I was a bum and watched Netflix and did laundry. My scale was looking good this morning. I will post my total mile tomorrow since its the half way point and my weigh in day. Good Luck to everyoone!3

Day 13 of the 100 days/100 miles walk and during the first week of the challenge walked 9 miles. have 2 more days to go on the second week so let see how i do. I need to work on getting in some higher miles but still walking between 1 to 2 miles. However today trying 3. i split it up did a miles this morning and then doing 2 tonight3

Hey, if the scale was your friend today, you don't have to worry about that so called slacking. Good on you!

Good idea to split up the miles. Finding what works for you is going to = success.0 -

Thanks, Ann. I blame no one but myself and I was completely active in the decision making and not do any Leslie walks. It was easier the 1st-week b/c work was still slow and not a lot of errands to run. Now things are picking up. Back to tricking myself into my tried and true exercise technique....sleeping in my working gear.
Meanwhile today was a busy day and I'm over 2 miles tracked.3
