Hey thanks team for motivation I see I got high score this week for our winning group!
It took an effort from all of us!6 -
Last week 179.8
This week 176.8
I really hit it hard this week, tracked everything and logged and worked out. I think this finally means I’m out of the obese category though different BMI calculators give me different results! I have a doctors appointment on Wednesday and really want to be able to weigh in and be below BMI 29.9 (partly to finally be just overweight, not obese but it also means we can start the countdown to be eligible for IVF which is another huge journey in itself).
It’s kind of a weird point to be at. I never thought I’d get this far and it seemed like this would be the finish point for me but now I’m here I definitely don’t feel finished. I’ve set myself a new target of 150lbs.

Results for February Week #1
Well, team The Big Butt Theory had a great start to the February Challenge!! We lost the most weight at 42.5 pounds (41.2 for second place) and that put us in a tie for first place with 0.63% lost!! So, obviously, a number of Big Butts had a great week on the scales:
The top five Big Butts, losing over 2% of their body weight were:
@CJDaniel7 - 2.48%
@Jaynee1961 - 2.26%
@Lucianaflo16 - 2.15%
@Tracie_Lord - 2.15%
@cossmoss15 - 2.10%
The following Big Butts also had a great week on the scales, losing over 1% of their body weight:
@cmhubbard92 - 1.78%
@mikea2g - 1.64%
@womanofgod4893 - 1.53%
@Jl20alon2564 - 1.05%
@Rawrbyn - 1.02%
The following Big Butts also had a good week on the scales, losing over 0.5% of their body weight:
@Kclee2903 - 0.89%
@kim4653 - 0.83%
@firecat1987 - 0.77%
@hooliemay - 0.59%
@karrihowlett - 0.55%
@lozenger1984 - 0.50%
Well done to those above, and to any Big Butts who lost some weight last week and contributed to the team's success!! If you didn't lose any weight, then now's your time!!

CW: 226.3

You were under all week and you lost half a pound...that should be your takeaway! I hear you saying that you could have done better, by making better choices....that is your homework for the coming week!!2 -

Always consider Sunday to be the day that I don't meet these goals. Plan for this week is to meet them at least Mon-Fri. I always slack off at the end of the week so I need to use this as motivation to stay focused.1 -

First off, congratulations on your three pound loss this week!! I'd say you hit it hard!!
Your goal was to get under 29.9 BMI so you could begin the process of having a child, which you have accomplished, so congratulations on that achievement!! I am also very happy for you that you have had a mental breakthrough and realize that you can continue this weight loss journey past the "overweight" category and into a healthy weight! You and your future child will both benefit from that!!2 -

I am just the opposite, Pam! When my husband is home all day on Sunday, I feel the most motivated. It's the other six days that I fall short!!

Maybe this will help keep someone going. I was only in the mini challenge winner circle once in the month of January and I was never the biggest loser for any week, not even just in our team. But, I was able to come in Second in the whole monthly challenge. Keep plugging along. Small victories add up
I thought this was worth posting again, Sara...very insightful and inspiring!! Yes, small victories do indeed add up!!

Down 3.9 for the week! WOOSH!
Water retention is real! Last week I was only down .5 pounds and the day before I did an extra hard lifting session. This week I just did cardio the day before weigh in.
Also worth re-posting, Mike, for those that may be discouraged. Water retention is real!!
