Exercised: Yes - 25 minutes light effort elliptical / 10 minutes stretching / 30 minutes weights (chest, biceps and triceps) / 20 minute family walk

My youngest turned 4 today. Worked out hard and saved calories — had 2 pieces of cake Ended up having way more carbs than usual today ( and sugar). My stomach is a bit upset from the cake and I feel like I’ve retained ALL of the water in the world from the excess carbs today.
If I wasn’t keeping track of food and exercise (CICO) I would have thought I totally failed today. I may be bloated and need some tums, but apparently I’m still doing it right2 -

Now that I’m in a good rhythm during the weekdays I am feeling good again. I have been weighing myself daily as well and am hoping for a good weigh-in Friday. But honestly I probably gonna lose it if I go yet another week in a row without a nice one.

Happy it was a 'yes' for me yesterday. But I'm not happy with my food choices. 46% of my calories-in were made up of a cookie, a small scone, and 2 tiny glasses of wine. That means I'm not getting enough of the nutritious foods.2 -

Full house today! I've been working all day, left the house before 7 and won't be home until after 22.00. it's been a long one but I've done a fair bit of walking and lots of steps. I know this isn't enough for me to really shift the weight in a hefty amount but I have 1000 calories left that I could eat and won't! Good day all round.3 -

Just scheduled a Dexa scan for Sunday morning. Much like measurements, I wish I would have done this at the beginning of my journey. Still psyched (and a bit nervous) to see where my body fat % is and this will give me a baseline for the next phase of lifting heavy, gaining muscle and doing recomp.2 -

That sounds like a cool measurement tool, Mike! Whatever it tells you, don’t let it diminish all you have accomplished if the numbers aren’t what you had hoped for!1 -
