    MINI CHALLENGE FEB Wk1

    Sunday Feb 3rd

    Meal Logging - Yes, made the best clean chilli with cauliflower rice and seasoned sweet potatoes for dinner
    Under Calories - Yes finished on 1242
    Exercise - Yes cardio and weights in gym

    Mon 4th Feb

    Under calories - yes
    Exercise - no rest day, although daily planked

    Tues 5th Feb
    Meal logging - Yes
    Under calories - no but out for a pre theatre meal and made decent choices

    Now that I’m in a good rhythm during the weekdays I am feeling good again. I have been weighing myself daily as well and am hoping for a good weigh-in Friday. But honestly I probably gonna lose it if I go yet another week in a row without a nice one.

    I know, and that b**** was fickle too. That is part of my problem with weight loss competitions like this. I get too obsessed sometimes. I think I am gonna drop back from the mini-challenge for a little while and just focus on doing the right things. Not focus on my weight daily and just weigh in on Fridays. I was actually losing more weight that way last year.
    So literally everyday my weight didn’t move. Mon through Thu, not even 0.1
    Then this morning:
    Last week: 252.8
    This week: 251.7

    I am very happy, but I’d be more happy if I saw that a week apart and not daily. Like HASWLRS said, I gave the scale to much power. Now I learn and apply this knowledge to a happier Me.

    Down 3.9 for the week! WOOSH!
    Water retention is real! Last week I was only down .5 pounds and the day before I did an extra hard lifting session. This week I just did cardio the day before weigh in.

    Sorry team. You are all killing it and I get my first week with a gain. I was in calorie range and exercised but my food was definitely not nutritious, I was high carb, and I ate late at night. I don't know if any of these things are myths or not but I dont know what else it could be other than oor eating choices. AND I have a stupid head cold so that is great too.

    Don't you dare apologize.....like you said, it's your first gain, and it's not very much! Just chalk it up to normal weight fluctuations and move on!! Hope your head cold clears up soon for you!!

    You lost a pound, so maybe not as much as you would have liked, but it is still movement in the right direction!!

    Going to a bridal salon today. My niece is trying on wedding dresses and I had asked to come, seeing as I have no daughters. I told her I would sit quietly and say nothing; I just wanted to go. Well, she is only having me, her mom and her maid of honour, so I may be expected to offer my opinion after all! When I get home I have to get ready for curling, so I may not be back on here until tomorrow. I will be looking for many, many weigh-ins at that time!!!

    Sorry guys been going through an issue at work and turning to food although I have been doing my workouts still no results on the scale. I need another way to destress or another plan to see results.

    Workouts are a great way to de-stress. I’m sure it’s helping. Is it your food choices or quantity that you think is causing your gain? Can you pre-plan your food so that it makes your choices easier?
