Weekend was a little too carb heavy -- I know what's coming on my weigh-in tomorrow.
But, an NSV:
the family was out until after 6 this evening. Mr 4 fell asleep in the car, and Mr 6 kept me company in the basement while I did laundry and my workout. Just finished the exercise, removing laundry from dryer now, taking kid upstairs to bed, and feeling like I'm doing ok at showing my kid how to get in exercise, do chores for the family, and spend happy time together all at once.5 -

Would've been 180lbs (weight on Saturday), but went out on Saturday night for a curry for friends 40th and am still seeing the effects of that on the scale. In the midst of a nasty cold too. I bet it drops to 180lbs tomorrow! Lol

Hi ladies!
I am trying to stay motivated but it seems Aunt Flow is coming this week and I am still staying under my calorie goal, yet I still gained 2 pounds!
My question is how much weight do you "gain" during your period and any tips to keep it at a minimum until the week is over?!?
Usually don't like weighing myself on my menstrual, because It is inaccurate.

From past experience I don't tend to gain any unless I turn into a chocolate monster.
Sometimes I find it easier just to set my calories to maintain and get on with it.
Drinking more water definitely helps with the dreaded water retention.
Just remember that it'll soon go and you'll be fighting fit for another 3weeks.1 -

There are times I am bloated up to 5 pounds. So just remember the reason for your weight gain

As I mentioned in a post yesterday, I’ve been sick and unable to work out for most of the week. So I am not surprised at such a minimal loss. Hopefully I start feeling better so I can exercise a bit and help nudge the scale down some more, but at least it’s a loss!2 -
