Exercised: rest day but I started a walk club at recess time (for my benefit but all the students followed so I made it a club lol!) and got 25 mins of walking in.
    Tracked: yep
    Under: yep

    I’m not in for this month...but last week I was 260 lbs☹️🙁😟
Today I’m 248!!!!! I know it’s my first week back in etc etc but it still felt great. Last summer for was 223 in July...my goal is to end the summer at 199.

Good luck to everyone! Keep crushing! I love reading your successes and setbacks too...I can totally relate this winter was really rough for me!

@drea2011, I bet you feel great!! You completely skipped the 50's!! A walking club at recess, is an excellent idea...not only for you but for your students as well!!

I am back home after an AMAZING weekend with just my boyfriend, and away from work! It's amazing how much we got done in the few days we had to spend together! I got a new bowling ball and shoes yesterday and was very excited to try them out today!

I also have other interesting things that happened this weekend. My boyfriend also approached the idea that he wants me to move in. We both have kind of opposite schedules, but my job is easily transferable to his area(or, screw it I could find a better job near him). We have been together for almost a year now, and we have been seriously discussing our futures together for a while, so I am not surprised that this came up this weekend! Definitely something I have been thinking about, but didn't realise that he was thinking about it too!

@cmhubbard92, as someone old enough to be your mother, I would prefer that you were at least engaged to be married before you move in together. (A little bit old school, lol!!) However, if he respects you and treats you as a equal partner in this relationship, and if he is on board with your efforts to get healthy and lose weight, then I am supportive of your decision. Just make sure you have the same vision of your future together beyond living together.

@cmhubbard92, thank you. It was just my husband and I home on Sunday. (Our son, who still lives at home, is in Arizona for the week golfing with a buddy). We slept in, seeing as we didn't get to bed until 3 am after we helped to clean up from the Buck & Doe party, and then we just puttered around the house getting some things done. Monday afternoon I spent time with my in-laws and my husband's aunt who was down for a visit.

I had to keep burn calories to make up for the cookies I at today. Sad thing was I was not craving them, or hungry. They are in the house and my brain says to eat them. It all good and still under calories.

@jlbtnc, being aware of the fact that you ate the cookies but didn't actually want them, is the first step needed to begin to retrain your brain and how it thinks about sweets. Well done on "working them off"!!!

Yes this is true, and the hardest thing for me. The good thing is I did not eat them the night before, it was this morning. The different challenges hold me accountable, and I always say they call my name and say eat me. I hope one day will not want to eat them because they are there.

@Jl20alon2564, underneath the comment you want to respond to is the word “Quote”. Hit that and then scroll to the bottom. You will see it there. Now hit the empty space beneath it to send the cursor there and start typing. When you are finished, hit “Done” beneath it.

Then hit Post Reply. I just did the above message on my phone. Had to finish it on my laptop because I had hit Done! Hope this helps.

I have dated guys in the past that turned quickly into "bad news". My mother never approved! However, my boyfriend is extremely supportive, he works hard, he is always respectful (TMI but he has never requested/pushed the idea of sex, which seems so unheard of these days, but it is very admirable). We both have discussed what we want in our future(marriage, then kids, and moving out of Connecticut, etc.) My mother is being surprisingly supportive of the idea of us living together, and I totally understand where you are coming from! And while he told me I am perfect the way I am(which I will disagree with) he is very supportive in what I have been doing(par of this weekend he took the time to teach and spot me on his weight bench, and use his exercise bike-neither of which get much use from him!)

I went over by a glass of milk. I usually do not like to drink milk. But I have noticed that during the periods of my life that I had really committed becoming more active and trying to eat at a calorie deficit I crave it. I figured that I probably need it and gave into it. Anyone else have those kinds of cravings when changing to a more active lifestyle?
I would not have been over if I had exercised but I was busy taking care of a sick little. But headed for a morning workout right now!

@cmhubbard92, I am glad you have found yourself a gem of a boyfriend that your family also approves of!!

My son's friend's parents have a place in Arizona, I think in the Glendale area. They won't be travelling much, except maybe to Sedona? They will be playing lots of cheap golf at local courses and enjoying some sunshine and warm temperatures. Dave does want to take Troy to "Chick fil A" and "In and Out Burger"; two places that Dave really enjoys that we do not have in Canada!

    Last week: 162.2
    This week: 159.0

Well hello beautiful people and welcome to my wall of text. I'm just really excited. The scale keeps moving, it's almost spring break, and my dogs are adorable. Definitely makes for a decent Tuesday. I hope you guys are having a good week so far!

So I have a question, and it is definitely for the crazy side of my brain. Logically, I know it makes sense, but I have to ask. The last 20lbs would surely make a bigger difference than the first 20lbs, right? I'm feeling decent about where I'm at, but with only 24lbs left until my goal weight (which is pretty low honestly), I still have a bit too much stomach for my liking.

On the bright side, I'm officially 36lbs down as of this morning so that's cool!

Ok I'm done. Good luck this week everyone!

@eatingfoodles, a very sincere congratulations on losing three pounds this week and bringing your total lost to 36 pounds!! And out of the 60's...whoo hoo!!! I don't actually understand your question. Do you mean that the last twenty will make more of a difference in the stomach area than the first twenty? And to answer that, I would say that it is an individual thing. Everyone knows you can't spot reduce fat, but it seems to leave some areas of a person sooner than other areas. And being female, a completely flat stomach is a hard ask. Not impossible, but still, be prepared to accept a little stomach in the end and be okay with it.

@HASWLRS I just mean there should (hopefully) be a more noticeable difference overall as I get closer to the goal. So the difference between 159 and 139 should be more obvious than the difference between 195 and 175.

I know I won't have a totally flat stomach. I have organs to make room for :D I just want less of a bulging belly (and less jiggle!)
