Calories: over-didn't eat yesterday and then I was really hungry before my test this morning, so I went crazy on the snacks in the office. BUT....I passed my test which means that I am lead operator now and that comes with a 2% raise.

When I say tennis, I mean challenging my hubby to a game of totem tennis...since we got it for the kids we've broken two balls and I broke the bat last night...so I guess my heart rate was up smashing the ball around a pole :-) Additionally my Fitbit Charge HR broke yesterday...I was devo!! So I decided to treat myself to an early birthday present and updated to a Charge 3 = winning!!!3 -

Was so excited to get my new Charge 3 yesterday but after nearly 1.5 days of trying to get the thing working...it just won't update the tracker firmware so it's completely useless...back to the shop I go!!3 -

Comments: I was really pleased about reaching my exercise goal today, but was a bit dismayed at how much it wore me out! On the bright side, I got my writing done (my other goal I'm working toward is writing every day) and I was able to eat some tasty food

Yesterday I got some items I was wanton but still managed to stay in my calories. Specifically I went to Dairy Queen but instead of having a medium or a large blizzard I got a mini. I was particularly proud of myself because I've been trying to make better decisions. If we want to lose and maintain we have to make better eating choices for the long term. I am just starting to figure that does not mean depriving myself all the time but it does mean having smaller portions and letting this be my new normal.7 -

Calories - 260 over. Same as yesterday - high fat but okay carbs. I'm craving crunchy carbs for a few days now - I think because I'm sleeping badly and am feeling tired all day. Anyway, at least I channelled the craving into fats and proteins instead. Hope I can stay under tomorrow at least.
