    Mini Challenge

    Date: Tues, 2nd:

    Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes, over an hour on my treadmill, added some extra steps while i was running errands after work today
    Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? yes, my goal is 1200/daily and I still had 751 calories banked at the end of the day due to my fitbit calculating just over a thousand calories burned
    Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? yes

    Logged - yes
    Under calories - yes (technically my MFP goal is 1200/day, but I don’t log my exercise and I let myself go up to 1400 calories on days I exercise for more than 30 min.)
    Exercise - yes, 45 minute arm strengthening class at the gym and 10,000 steps.

    Does anyone have a knockoff fitbit they recommend? I can't afford anything fancy but I'd like a decent step counter to keep me motivated. I get my workout done but then I think I spend too much on the couch.

    Check out craigslist or fb marketplace. I got a garmin activity tracker through fb marketplace for $10 about 2 years ago and it is still working great for him.

    You should definitely get the Fitbit brand if you need the team camaraderie/competition aspect. And I could use another teammate 😁. But as someone already said you can easily find a used one on Craigslist or within the Facebook yardsale pages. People are constantly upgrading and selling their old ones for cheap.
