2nd weigh in:- 167 :'( I could cry I havent budged and im trying so hard I think my metabolism has gone into hibernation. You would think that with the amount of walking I do I should see something but how true this is but I have bewn told that muscle tone can add weight...thought I had little win (silly really) I was able to wear a bra comfortably I havent worn in a while..sorry if I embarress anyone

Anyway food was logged, water logged, excercise step count logged

Mini goals:- to fit in 2 thirty min workouts through the week (or at least 10min)

@CaroDav73, great job on the NSV!! Clothes fitting better is always worth celebrating!! How long have you been trying to lose weight? If you just started with this June Challenge, you have to be patient. As long as you are doing all the right things, and it sounds like you are, then the scales will move.

Grrr. I STILL hit that darn "done" button!

@HASWLRS and @erikNJ thanks for cheering me on. I was hoping to feel happier but honestly it might just be the weather here. It has rained almost every day for about a month and today we struggled to get to 63°. Our normal high is 76 today.

My plan for this week is to continue to log everything I eat, move to the next week of my run training (wk 8 of 12), and to add in some weight training.

@swauters, yes, we are having the same weather here...just dreadful for June!! Although, it has been better this week so far. It turned out to be a beautiful day yesterday for the Raptors parade and the 2 million plus people that showed up!!

Tracked at and another 30 minute walk. I ran into a deer on my journey. They're beautiful creatures, but as a city womyn...I almost jogged away, but alas, walking away is all I could do. Nature and her creations ;)

@ForLangston, next time, don't try to walk away, just try to be silent and observe. As soon as the deer senses you, it will leave.... you don't have to!

So a recount of last weeks goals. I made most of them but a couple I definitely didnt do. (sleep issue is one I have to rethink with my wife mom daughter hat I wear... may put that on hold or revise for the next week) I definitely want to be more definitive on my water intake as I did get more but not nearly enough or where I should be which I think when i reach that will help me with weight loss. Will post this weeks goals soon.

    Goals for the past week:
    *Continue on the c25k process with wk1 day 3 ✔, wk2 day1 ✔and maybe wk2 day2
    * 🚫gym at least 2 days and weights at home if needed to make 4 days of lifting. Tues h ✔
    *drink more water mon✔ tues✔wed ✔ thurs✔ fri ✔ sat ✔
    * stay under calorie goal without eating back exercise calories mon✔ tues✔ wed ✔ thurs 🚫 fri ✔ sat ✔
    * get mini challenge done daily sun✔ mon✔ tues✔ wed ✔ thurs ✔ fri ✔ sat✔
*meal plan Monday so we dont have to grab fast food or food on the go options.✔

    Last week 168.5
    This week 164.7

Not sure my gain on holiday was actual weight gain looking at this. I think it may have been travel, slightly swollen legs etc. Happy to be down a fair bit either way though!

@lozenger1984, you are absolutely right that your holiday gain was partially water, but it sure looks and feel good losing almost three pounds on the scales!! Nice job getting back into your healthy eating routine!!

@brandi_84, holding steady this week!! You haven't posted in the Mini Challenge since your last weigh-in, so a maintain is a pretty good outcome.

Tracked, under, and lots of walking. So ya'll: I wondered why folks would pay for the unwich at Jimmy John's. Alas, I couldn't pack a lunch today and enjoyed it so so much. Who knew ;) I guess it's like having a salad wrapped up into a sandwich, lol

@ForLangston, glad you found something new that you liked that fit into your calories!!

@heaz10, glad to hear you are still with us, Heather!! You may be having a busy time of it right now, but you are not stress eating because of it!! Nice job on losing a pound!!

    Current weight: 125.4 😐

@LMK02020, seeing as you had a self proclaimed bad week last week, being up a couple is to be expected. A little bit of hard work, and those two pounds will disappear in no time!! (hugs)

🙄 I discovered Oreos are vegan. Ate a pack through the weekend as well as some vegan Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. It was amazing blame Aunt Flo🤣. Expecting a bigger drop next week now that Tom is over and cravings have subsided.

    6/18/19 Weigh-in
    Weigh day: Tuesday
    Previous Week: 214.3
    Current weigh-in: 210.8
    Loss: -3.5lb

Super happy with this loss this week! Hopefully TOM doesn't counter it too much when it gets here, but this month is going well for me so far!

@cmhubbard92, you should be super happy with that loss....that's the biggest loss I've seen you post in a while, or maybe ever? Three and a half pounds is definitely worth a "whoo hoo"!!

    155.8 this week.

I was very concerned yesterday. Had some major post-weekend bloat. We're talking 160.

Also, I RAN 5 WHOLE MILES STRAIGHT YESTERDAY and I'm gonna gloat about it like a little kid because I'm excited.

@eatingfoodles, you are only up point eight, and 155.8 is a far cry from 160, so well done on bringing it back down!! As far as the running five miles straight....I bet you are grinning like a Cheshire cat, and you should be!! Congratulations!!!

@drea2011, well what an unfortunate discovery!! This week we can blame Flo and Tom. Next week there'll be no one to blame, but we won't need to lay blame, as Drea is going to have a very great, very Oreo free week!!

Thank you @HASWLRS my best month was February with one week with a 4.2lb loss, 11 overall! I'm hoping this month turns out to be a contender, as I am down almost 6 pounds for the month so far.

@ForLangston Thank you so much. I am trying super hard to stay on track! There are some days that I almost lose focus, but I think of how far I've come! I really appreciate your kind words!

    6/18/19 Mini Challenge
    Tracked Yes
    Under Yes
Exercise Yes, 45 minutes elliptical, 30 minutes strength

Today has been *such* a dreary day! I'm glad to finally be home and relaxing before bed. Today I did an arm workout with a kettlebell and a medicine ball. My focus tomorrow is to do a leg workout after I do my elliptical session. I will just have to push myself to leave at least 30 minutes earlier than I usually do. I can do it, saying I close and can recover Thursday on my day off! Now, to complete my day, I am going to have my mini dove ice cream 😊

    Goals for this week:
    • Gym M,T,W,F,S(work days) M✔T✔
    • Complete 50 burpees for the week for GOT challenge(20/50 complete) S-10 M-10 T-0
    • 90 minutes strength/ 60 minutes flex goal for week S-0 M-0(maybe later) T-30 strength
    • 45 minute elliptical sessions instead of 35 3x this week S❌ M✔ T✔
    • 64oz Water daily(minimum) S✔ M✔ T✔
    • Bedtime by 9:15 all nights but Wednesday and Saturday nights. S✔ M✔
    • Pre-Pack gym bag and lunch each day this week. S✔ M ✔ T✔
    • 10,000 daily step goal except for Sundays (I need to get better with this on my days off!) S❌ M✔ T✔

    Tracked - yes
    Under - no (darn cookies)
Exercise - yes, 35 mins on the treadmill

    Sunday: no
    Monday: no

Despite 2 “no’s” I’m still posting and hoping for “yes’s” the rest of the week.

You can do it! I like to prelog my breakfast/lunch/snacks, and stay on that course until dinner, where I decide what I can have based on my calories I have left for the day!

Thanks. During the week I’m great about breakfast and lunch since I have to bring to work, but dinner is hit and miss. I always have a plan just don’t always follow it. That’s my biggest thing to work on in order to get this weight loss starting.
