My goal for today (06/30) is to remember to eat. I know that sounds strange for a fat boy losing weight, but for the last couple of days I've reached the evening having not eaten enough to safely lose weight. Two days of doing so won't hurt me, but I've gotta get back to eating mindfully throughout the day.

I have a tendency to hoard my calories like a miser!...come evening I have a ton left to eat!

Thanks!! I need a nice, quiet, non-eventful month ... maybe even boring. :p .LOL.

My city usually has tons of activities going on for the holiday weekend ... but not this year. Even the 4th will be quiet since everything, including fireworks, has been cancelled. Feel a bit sad about that but probably would not attend anything anyway. At my age, obesity level, and having compromised lungs, I'm really careful (maybe even a bit paranoid) about going out in public -- and, ALWAYS wear a mask. Normally, we'd at least have a small get together at my house with a cookout, card games, etc. But most are in jobs that expose them to gen pop ... which could make it dangerous for me. <sigh>

Hope you'll be able to enjoy the 4th in your area ... at least in some fashion.

Wishing you a good July as well. 🌞

Today is weigh-in day and I lost 2.1 lbs this week. Going back to basics (weighing, measuring, etc) seems to have helped.

Boy Howdy!!! Do I ever know that feeling. In fact, I plan to leave for the day in a couple of hours just so we can quit irritating each other for a while.

                    Very Honorable Goal!! 🤭

                    Well, lots to do.
Take over the pile of kitchen stuff and unpack my pots and pans and spatulas into their new homes.
Take over part of the "hand carry" pile that has things like my fine china and his computer server.

Paint Girlfriend's room: Finish first coat of color one (above the chair rail) in reconstructed area; put a second coat of color on the area above the chair rail. Put two coats of color on the area below the chair rail and finish edging room with both colors. Hang her curtains and place tiebacks.

Undrape all the floors and take down the painter's tape everywhere else in the house. Replace the toilet upstairs (we had to lift it to get the wall behind it painted, because you can see it but not get at it with the toilet in place!) and replace the wall rack. Clean the shower stall doors with hard water deposit remover.

Do a lot of sweeping and dusting and wiping down post-electrician.

So, left the house yesterday around 2pm and got home around 2 am. Pretty much blew thru food & bev yesterday. Don't think I did major damage but certainly added a couple of bruises. So, back on track today!!

Lots of yardwork to get done. Need to get sprinklers set up in the back and front yards. Plan to finish weed whipping of north and east perimeters. Then, have pruning to finish on north side. Supposed to climb to mid-90's by 1 pm today ... and most of the rest of the week.

                    Have a great day Y'all !! 🌞

So, overdid the outside work Sat & Sunday. Really started hurting by mid-afternoon Sunday. Took some pills, put on icepacks, went to bed. Barely able to move today ... everything hurts ... especially hips and lower back. Thought I was being careful but guess I overdid it. I swear, even my hair hurts today. So, no tasks, no steps, etc for a day or two. You'd think at my age ....................

Monday was the first day I was relatively pain free. Spent most of last week in recliner; even slept there a few nights. Just hurt too much to move. Call my doc; she said the usual -- ice, heat, pain relievers, rest/elevate ... now, tell me, how am I supposed to elevate my butt??? LOL Pain mostly in hips and butt, but shoulder and wrist were no picnic either. I'd decided if I still hurt so badly on Monday, Doc was getting a "stronger" call. Luckily, Monday I arose mostly pain eased greatly. Still a bit achy. Mon & Tues started with my daily morning stretches (being very careful). And, began doing my 5-min walks to get in my 30 min walking. Feeling much better today.

Today = grocery shopping. Have a lot of coupons so need to do the shopping myself. I'd prefer to have them delivered but my coupons aren't used when doing so. Lots of walking today.

Hope everyone has a great day !! 🌞

Go to home improvement store. Go to paint store for touchup paint.
Make lunch: hamburgers or reheat black bean stew.
Make dinner: General Tso's pork, broccoli, rice.
Continue working on getting the pantry in order.

I hear you about the pantry!! Today is grocery day for me so cleaned out cupboards and frig yesterday as needed. Today is restock. Also have to reorganize the freezer. My daughter is coming over Friday and bringing me frozen meat ... beef and pork. She bought a quarter of each and we're splitting it. YUM!!
