Ok everybody, more info graphics. This time it is fast foods! I included beverages as they can be really high in calories, sugar and fat. Some drinks are lower in calories, but high in sugar. Look away now if you think this may trigger you!

I spend a lot of time at hockey arenas, which have only candy vending machines and fast food counters. Most restaurants around the arenas are also fast food. Weeknight practices and games are often around supper time. I pack food for me and the kids as a result. I sometimes stop at Tim Horton’s or Starbucks after practice so my younger boy can have a small hot chocolate. But most of the time we avoid everything. I think about these graphics when tempted and there are also healthier options posted to help with decision making:

Just saying Good morning since I checked in last night. I hope everyone has a great day!

@cyndiesstuff Great start to November with a loss! I am not surprised, you have been doing great since you came back. What a good idea to check in with us during your party, especially if you get an urge to overeat. Stop and break the urge by hopping on your computer and remembering your plan . You got this! Hopefully you will have fun. You are still newish, it may be a good time to find out a little about your co workers. I actually envision you as one of those people who automatically jump in and help out making sure everything is out and cleaned up. Fall cleaning is on my plan today...Ugh! Tackling the kitchen first....
@phoebe112476 What a difference! It is amazing how far you have come. Yes! You need to get rid of the clothes and buy more that fit. If it starts getting too expensive, remember @Mrsbell8well finds awesome deals in thrift stores. I am sure you have a lot to replace. I am the same way with pictures. I am going to try to take more in the beginning of each month. You look fabulous! (which made me think of Billy Crystal just now . Lol! Are you too young to remember that bit he did?)
@nstephenson01 First of all, you are doing great. I know the weigh ins the past two weeks are not what you wanted. So -we know you have been eating on plan and working out. Is there anything physically going on? Are you retaining fluid? Did you poop? If not, think if there is anything you are doing different in the past two weeks. Any new foods? Remember the time that @phoebe112476 didn't realize the serving size popcorn she was eating and that small amount over did interfere with her weight loss. If you truly can't find anything, you may have to just trust the process and keep plugging away. I know some people have a few weeks they don't lose and then they have a "Whoosh" moment and drop significantly. Hold on for that whoosh girl! Hugs!
@Mrsbell8well That soup looks amazing! Is it hard to make? Am I going to be able to find a rutabaga at Giant? Lol! I want to start making some soups now that we are getting into the cooler weather. Your weight loss has been amazing. I think next year you need a yellow polka dot bikini!
@Cafelelia I had a weird thought...Do you run on a treadmill or outside? I was just wondering if it would be better in the beginning to be on a treadmill before you venture out. Maybe that would be a good way to start out. A little easier as far as impact and no uneven surfaces. I have absolutely NO idea about this but it was a thought I had. Lol! You know so much about running already and have your therapist watching you. Just curious I guess. Sounds like you had another great day and the scale reflects it! I did take screen shots of those two pictures to refer back to. They are both amazing visuals of weight. I also think I am going to take screen shots of the Starbucks drinks and healthier fast food options too. They will make things easier if I am out and am faced with a choice. Thanks for posting. How about that extra 10 calories per day adding up to a pound in a year. It is amazing how little things add up!

OK... deep breath. Thanks everyone for the words of support. I've never lost weight quickly so I don't know why I think this month will be different. I was 166 yesterday. Hubby made stir fry last night and cooks with a free hand so I consumed a lot of sodium without knowing it. Maybe I'm over estimating my activity calories burned... maybe I'm not eating enough or maybe I'm eating too much of the wrong things. Measurements were down in my arms and legs but the last time I took them was July. I typically retain a ton of water during the middle of my cycle but was trying to buck that trend this month. I'm going to trust the process and keep plugging along. I may be stressing myself out too much. For me its a lifestyle, not a quick fix, and I'm happy with my food choices and exercise program. I'll get there!!

    weekly steps: 83,038
    active minutes 409
Exercise days: 6 out of 6 days

Thanks for taking time to write such a heartfelt intro @Julie8468. I hope you continue to post more often.

@sleepymom5 Love the advice you gave @Julie8468. Your photos show such a transformation. 21 pounds is a good amount but it looks like you've lost more than that.

@lennoncpa Awe I love that you can take your foster dogs to work with you!

@Cafelelia Another great visual! The last time I had a McDonald's burger a few years ago it didn't even taste like food to me! I don't crave fast food much anymore but Starbuck's was a lot harder to quit. I wanted a peppermint mocha just the other day when I took my dog to the vet but talked myself out of it. Its amazing how much sugar is in those drinks.

@cyndiesstuff hope the open house goes well and yes, come post here as needed. Nice loss lady!!

Sleep challenge: slept lightly as the medication Willow is taking makes her pee more and I didn't want her to have an accident in the house. Got up at 2 am to let her out. Woke again at 4:30 when hubby's alarm went off and he left to go hunting but I fell asleep following both which normally I wouldn't.

@sleepymom5 sounds like you are doing well! Glad you had a safe trip back!
Thanks, he is the cutest puppy! I was never a pet person, but he has made a lover out of me, I can't resist that little puppy face!
Also, yes, you can edit your start & stop time on the Life app, there is an edit button so you can adjust the time. Great before & after pics!

@nstephenson01 Your right you have lost a lot of weight and doing it quickly is not a necessity just a want. Keep doing what your doing and tweak what you can. Even 2 pounds a month at this stage is a great accomplishment.
@sleepymom5 OMG...I am so getting a yellow polka dot bikini next year lol! thanks for the suggestion. I will share my soup recipe with you.
@cyndiesstuff Awesome job girl! You are strong and dedicated!

My recipe. I love adding greens but I add them separate. I don’t really cook them. I chop them and put them in the bottom of my soup bowl and add really hot soup and let them cook that way. They can seem slimy if you add them to the pot and have leftovers. Last night I used spinach and today beet greens.
This is for you Pam. Let me know if you make it. You can change it up and sub. Sweet potatoes, winter squash, cabbage, can tomatoes, beans, pasta. Make it your own.

Ugh! I posted above @ljdanny earlier this afternoon! I don't know where the post went :s .
@cyndiesstuff It sounds like the party may have been a success? Hope you enjoyed it!
@nstephenson01 The weight could have been from any of the things you mentioned. I bet it was the stir fry. I am glad you decided to hunker down and keep this going. I promise the scale will catch up. Hugs!
@lennoncpa . I wrote so much to you and now it is gone Lol! Maybe you should get some healthy snacks with some healthy fat and protein like celery and peanut butter, hard boiled egg or even some type of jerky? The celery has a crunch, the jerky is chewy...Sometimes hunger can be that you are actually thirsty. You could try drinking some water and see if that is it. Have you ever tried to sit through it. I recently started waiting for my meals. If I was hungry and I have an hour or two to go to a meal, I tell myself I can wait until it is time to eat. I use to never let myself get hungry before. Just some things to try. I know it is frustrating! I had a few days like that before I left for Florida.
@kirsten11872 Thank you! I think I had a different app. This one is easier to use. I always forget to hit it so I like that I can go back.
@ljdanny You had the right weight. Nice loss! You got the scale going back in the right direction and back into the 180s! :)
@Mrsbell8well I can do that right? It doesn't seem too hard...Thanks for adding about how to add the greens. I wouldn't have realized that. I will let you know when I make it.
@tryingagain5 Congratulations on your great niece! How exciting! Sounds like you got a pretty good workout in before your back started bothering you. It is awesome that the dietician noticed that you were losing. It always feels nice when someone notices. :) I know you have a lot of posts to catch up on. At least try to read the introductions.

The weekend is upon us! Don't forget to make your weekend plans. What are everyone's plan for the weekend? The only social thing I have is meeting my cousin and his family at the bar for lunch. I already know I am ordering a salad. I also know we won't be drinking. They are down tonight for the Elton John concert and staying over. They need to get back so we won't be spending the day there. Once they leave, I am coming home to clean. That is my weekend. Staying on plan, exercising and fall cleaning.

I changed up my IF routine this week and did 16:8 most days plus one 24 hour fast which I like to do once or twice a month. This change helped, plus the meal planning. It was a stressful week, so I am proud that I proved to myself I could still focus on my health & fitness.

    Thursday Check In

Food - logged & on track
    Water - 1.5 l
Exercise - None except running around for hockey stuff.

I have a dryer vent issue and part of my basement wall is torn up right now. I am hoping to get the dryer fixed later this morning as I do so much laundry, particularly for the kids. I have to go clean up a bunch of debris downstairs right now, yuck!

For the sleep challenge, I do not have a bedtime ritual. I am usually just really tired and go to sleep!

@pacsnc6 - Nice maintain! How was your week?

@sleepymom5 - You are in onederland!! Congratulations!! You are doing great replacing the old habits with new ones. Great plan for the bar and the weekend. And those dogs are so cute!

@tryingagain5 - Great day yesterday and nice NSV! Congratulations on having a new great niece!!

@cyndiesstuff - Congratulations on sticking to plan and throwing a successful party! I loved how you posted periodically, which was a great way of using this group as support and accountability. Way to go!!

@Mrsbell8well - Thank you for sharing that recipe! It is the time of year to start making more soup!

@ljdanny - Nice loss and congratulations on the new weight decade! You were 190 last week.

@lennoncpa - Sorry it was a rough hunger day yesterday. It happens and that’s ok. How is it going today?

@nstephenson01 - I love your determination! Yes, this is a lifestyle change and that is how we have to look at it. Your measurements are down, and that is an NSV to focus on! You are absolutely going to get there!

I got up early yesterday to get my workout in. Not today though, I was up way past my bedtime last night. My son and his gf were over to visit the baby. This weekend i am watching the baby for a little bit tomorrow. I plan on getting a little bit of meal prepping done. Also getting some exercise in, my son said they wouldn't leave the house tomorrow morning until I did my workout, lol.
I found out through other people on Fitbit that peoy take your account and try to create new ones with your picture so they can friend request people and then try asking them for things. People suck I guess.

This week has been good. My sister and her husband arrived late Sunday and stayed for two nights. Nice visit on their way to Florida. Monday was my son's birthday so we met him for lunch and he told us more about his trip to Nepal last month. He trekked with a group to base camp of Anapurna (he loves to rock climb). So Tuesday and Wednesday back to normal. Yesterday after dinner I slipped on a slick spot in the kitchen and fell. My back hurt the rest of the evening so I considered skipping water aerobics this morning. Fortunately this morning I was feeling much better and went to exercise as next week they are closed on Monday for Veterans Day. I am still feeling good enough to rake the pine needles off the driveway.
I have been eating close to goal all week and maintained my weight. Yay!!!
    Have a good weekend

@sleepymom5 wowzer way to go girl!!! All those good days strung together are paying off. Pretty remarkable with travel in all.
@Cafelelia Wow to you too Lisa! Great job. I am so happy for you. You must be so excited to be so close to the 140's. I am planning to skip dinner and praying I will get to color a star tomorrow to be on track for my T-day goal.
@cyndiesstuff oh yeah!!! great job Cyndie staying on track.
@lennoncpa do you drink tea? I will attach a pic of my fav teas. I love them. When I really need a boost I add a little honey and almond milk. I think you will like them too @sleepymom5

TGIF!!!! 3 DAY weekend. almost done with work. counting down.

    Have a great weekend everyone!
