    Love all these teas. Celestial also makes a yummy maple ginger tea.
    And I love their sleepy time vanilla

    Friday 11/8 check in
    Food: logged but over
    Water: 56 oz
    Exercise: rest day

    I went out for breakfast with a friend this morning, which was planned. I did plan on going over today because of breakfast. However, I ended up getting my normal treat meal tonight also, which was not planned for today and I wasn't overly hungry so I'm not sure why I went out to get it. Now I need to work harder to not do that. If I didn't have that meal I would have been on track and even under my normal calorie goal. I did enjoy every bite of both meals.

    Wow, there are a lot of posts! It took me over an hour but I went through all of them.
    @sleepymom5
    I like fruits and veggies so I'm not sure why it's so hard for me to get them in.
    Yes, I stand all night at work. I'm in a factory that makes car mirrors. I only see the circuit boards and not the end product.
    I hope to catch up on sleep tonight and tomorrow.
    Thanks for all the encouragement!
    @Mrsbell8well
    Thanks, me too. Back is getting there. Some days are better than others. Pretty sure the new mattress is helping too.
    @Cafelelia
    Back doing better most of the time. Love your visual on how much things weigh. Since I've lost 40 pounds, I've lost a border collie! Still have 40 to 60 pounds to lose so eventually I'll lose another border collie.
    @kirsten11872
    Try your best not to do the all or nothing. It backfires every time. We all need to be flexible in what we're doing since this is going to be a lifestyle change and not a diet, which people go on and then off and usually gain the weight back and then some. And, yes, I am speaking from experience. Diets don't work, lifestyle changes do. I know it's hard. You can do it! We all can do it!
    @nstephenson01
    I know it's hard but don't give up! Keep going! You are close to your goal. I know you put a date on when you want to be there but that doesn't always work. I had a trainer in the past that told me I would lose "X" amount of a weight in a period of time and when it didn't happen I was really disappointed. The trainer I have now is more realistic and doesn't tell his clients that. He'll say you didn't put the weight on overnight, it's not going to go away overnight either.

    Great pictures of everyone's transformation/progress. I will try to post some later. I don't work tonight so I'm going to go to bed and hopefully sleep well.

    I had another good day! I have been feeling hungry all day but had an apple as a snack and some peppermint tea tonight. I am not doing so well on cleaning. I thought I would have the kitchen done yesterday and I am only 3/4 of the way through. It is pushing off my whole schedule. I think it is the hardest room. The second hardest is the family room because there are a lot of windows. I am trying not to be stressed. I will get it done.

    Tomorrow I may take a rest day. I am not sure. I have been getting in my exercise for over a week. It may be good for me.

    I lost all my response again tonight! My fault though, I did something stupid. I don't think I write them as well the second time.

    @Cafelelia Awesome loss!! I can not imagine doing 16 hours or 24 hour fasts! On the other hand, I never though I could do 14 hours so you never know. You should be proud! Even with the stress you made your health a priority. That stinks about the dryer vent. I hope it is all sorted out. Love the healthy weekend post. I like #1 the best!
    @pacsnc6 Nice job maintaining! Especially with all the family visiting. You have had a lot going on lately. I hope you are ok after that fall. I was wondering if the water aerobics made it feel any better.
    @timibotkin Try not to let the scale derail you. That gain could be do to a number of things. You have been through so much. You could be retaining fluid among other things. Just stay on track and the scale will eventually catch up. The sweet potato recipe you posted looks amazing!
    @hope002 Great attitude, that slight gain is nothing to worry about. I am sure you are right and it relates to starting back to weight training. Hope everything else is good.
    @ljdanny It is hard to get up as early as you do to exercise. Sometimes you have to make sure you are getting enough hours. I like that your son is going to exercise tomorrow before he leaves. Is he the son with the baby? I am sure he already knows how lucky he is to have you! How weird with your fitbit. These hackers must be pretty smart, I don't understand why they wouldn't just get a job. Some people do suck!
    @lennoncpa Nice job maintaining even with your hungry week. I hope the sparkling water with the flavoring helps.
    @Mrsbell8well I don't know if you remember but you turned me onto tea! Peppermint is my favorite but I really like them all. Now I have new ones to try. I never saw chocolate before.
    @tryingagain5 You are really doing great with your fruit, veggies and water. You have inspired a few of us to join you with increasing our fruits and veggies. Sounds like you had a nice day. I know dinner wasn't what you had planned tonight. You said you weren't sure why you even got it because you weren't even hungry. Every time we go off plan, it gives us an opportunity to learn from the situation. Ask yourself why you still got it and what can you do next time to avoid doing it. You also said you enjoyed every bite. Sometimes you can make a conscious decision to go off plan. Don't eat and beat yourself up. Enjoy your meal and don't beat yourself up. Just get right back on track after.
    @Julie8468 Nice loss there my friend!! I am glad that you are planning to plan Lol! Seriously, it has made such a difference to my life. Let's have a great weekend. :smile:

    Friday Check In
    Food - logged and under
    Water- 88 oz
    Exercise - 30 minute stationary bike
    Steps- 6,149 steps

    I had such a good week last week. It is funny how that can really change your attitude and motivation. Today will be busy. I did decide to take that rest day today. My steps will be low because I am cleaning and organizing. My husband just came down and asked if there was any reason why the water pressure would be low...that doesn't sound good. Ugh! I better go! Hope everyone has an awesome weekend. It has been chilly here in Philly the past few days!

    @Cafelelia You are like a weight logging ninja! Lol! You are so quick!
    @GingerPwr I know life gets busy. Check in when you can. We always love to hear from you. Great goal to increase your water. I am sure being a teacher with few bathroom breaks make it a challenge during the week. I have a suggestion for the wine that may or may not work for you. I do like to drink but sometimes I like the idea of wine. Just to sit down and relax and treat myself. It is more about the experience than the wine for me. I switched over to herbal tea (I can't have caffeine after dinner) I get the same experience from that. I was actually thinking of getting a special mug for it. I know, I am a dork! If you don't add too much cream or sugar, it counts as water too. If not tea, maybe you can find a substitute that works for you.
    @amytriesww Nice loss! Hope things are getting less stressful. You are getting towards the end of the semester so hang in there!
    @cyndiesstuff You really just jumped right back in and are doing great! Tomorrow sounds like fun. I want to come over! Lol! If there are snacks, maybe you can bring a veggie platter to munch on while you are there. Enjoy!
    @Mrsbell8well Sounds like a perfect weekend. Skylynn is a lucky girl to have such a fun Grandma! I actually forgot it was a 3 day weekend until you mentioned it.
    @Zumba_Luvah Great attitude!! You have been doing awesome! I am glad you are going to keep kicking butt this week!
    @nstephenson01 It is funny how we have our highs and lows. I really feel like hibernating when it feels cold. We aren't there yet, my chilly in Philly probably would make you laugh. But it is cold for us Lol! Take one day at a time . You have a good plan for today. Enjoy your weekend!

    Friday check in

    Food - Logged & on target
    Water - 1.8 l
    Exercise - none, but a lot of dryer repair cleaning & hauling

    Yesterday was all about the dryer repair. They had to break through some drywall, and I ended up moving a lot of things and cleaning up a lot of the repair mess. It was exhausting, I had to cancel my trainer and it not how I would choose to spend a day. But everything is fixed and we have a functioning dryer, thankfully. My husband covered both hockey games for the boys last night and I was in bed by 7:30 pm!

    @Zumba_Luvah - Love you attitude and that’s right, you will see the 180s very, very soon!

    @Mrsbell8well - You are almost at that next goal! I can’t wait to buy you cookbook!

    @cyndiestuff - Another great day! Have fun at your pierogi making party!

    @amytriesww - Another fantastic loss!! You are amazing! Safe travels tomorrow!

    @GingerPwr - I completely understand the coffee to wine cycle. I almost went there last night after my day, but decided to just go to bed. You are right, lots of water will help today!

    @sleepymom5 - Another good day and you are on a roll! Just pace yourself with the cleaning so that you don’t get too exhausted. Re IF, once I did the 14 hour fast, it was not a big jump to go to 16 hrs. I just move breakfast later or skip it and have coffee, then a small mid morning snack when breaking the fast. 24 hours is more challenging. I try pick a day where I am not driving around too much, so the night before I have an early supper, then start fasting and then break the fast at supper the next day. It is ok for me to do once in a while and I do feel really good after. Dr. Fung’s book, the Obesity Code explains the science behind fasting and it is fascinating. Dr. Fung is a also proponent of fasting and also Keto as a treatment fo people with lifelong obesity, as well as certain illnesses like epilepsy, MS & diabetes. A friend of my son’s is epileptic and is part of a Keto/fasting clinical trial at our local children’s hospital. His mum told me that the diet is making a huge difference for him.

    @timibotkin - Don’t be discouraged by that gain, it could very well be just the extra water that you are taking in. That recipe looks so good! Thanks for sharing!

    @Julie8568 - Great loss, congratulations! Good luck with the planning!

    @tryingagain5 - It’s ok having that unplanned meal, it happens sometimes. Looks like you had a great week in any event! Keep it up and hope that you get to bed early tonight! Yes, if you are comfortable sharing, we would love to see your photos!

    @pacsnc6 - Glad that you recovered after that slip in the kitchen. Congratulations on your great week!!

    @lennoncpa - Hope that the hunger had subsided and having the flavoured water is a great idea to combat it. You had a great week with a maintain and excellent steps, so stay strong!

    @ljdanny - Hope that you are enjoying your time with the baby today! That is crazy about Fitbit accounts and hope that you have it all sorted out now.

    @hope002 - Nice maintain and great that you have added in some weight exercises!

    @Mrsbell8well thanks for the suggestions with the teas. Those sound yummy. I do like tea this time of year when it’s cold - and I only do the caffeine free stuff so that’s awesome 😀

    @lennoncpa have you tried low calorie volume eating? Huge salads, large plate of steamed broccoli, no oil roasted mushrooms? Makes me hungry just thinking about it. There’s days I need lots of food. Adding beans to salad, lots of veggies too. I drizzle with good balsamic. I can eat a huge family size salad in one sitting. Good luck.

    Saturday 11/9 check in
    Food: logged and on track
    Water: 64 oz
    Exercise: 20 minutes at home, 15 minute walk with a friend

    I did pretty well today. I went to my sister and brother-in-law's house for dinner tonight and still had about 1200 calories left for the day. My normal calorie range is between 1700 and 1900 calories.

    I got to meet my new great niece tonight. What a cutie! She's about 7 pounds but looks so little.

    @sleepymom5
    Glad I inspired others to join me in increasing fruits and veggies.

    When I went out to get my unplanned meal last night, I thought I would get just the soup and dessert I like and not the salad since I wasn't really hungry but I ended up getting the salad too. I know that once winter hits I won't leave home to get it (and they don't deliver) so that will help me. The only reason why I can think of is that I just really like that meal. Not really a great reason.

    My trainer told me to ask myself if I would eat an apple. If the answer is yes, then I actually am hungry and if no then I'm not truly hungry. I need to remember to always ask myself that before I eat anything.

    @Cafelelia
    You're right, sometimes the unplanned meals do happen.

    I did get to bed early last night and slept really well.

    I found some photos to share-now I have to see if I can figure out how to post them. I'm not really that great with technology.🙄

    Saturday check in

    Food - logged & on target
    Exercise - 8 k steps
    Water - 1.8 l

    Lots of catch up yesterday and I was tempted to overeat some cookies I made for the kids. I planned it have one & stuck to that plan. Less hockey today, so we actually get to have our Sunday family dinner. Will be cooking a lot today for both our dinner and the week.

    Congratulations to our entire team! We came in third this week for both lbs & % lost! Congratulations to @amytriesww and @julie8468 for making the Honorable Mentions! Great job!

    @mrsbell8well - Congratulations on getting to that goal! You on track to your ultimate goal weight, hurray! That lunch looks so yummy!

    @cyndiesstuff - So sorry that you had a not great eating day. These things happen though and we are not perfect robots! You are doing the right thing to devise your plan for today and have some fun. Have fun and stay strong!

    @tryingagain5 - Great day yesterday and so nice that you met your little great niece! It was really interesting how you decribed ordering that salad even though you were not hungry. These are the habits we are looking to change, so maybe next time you will remember and not order more. I did something similar last week overeating a salad at lunch (like past full). It did not matter that it was a healthy food, I was still overeating with it and not eating mindfully.

    @lennoncpa - So sorry that your hunger is continuing. Maybe it is related to all of your dancing and the nutrients that you are taking in? When I train for a longer race, I have to change my diet, taking in more calories, particularly carbohydrates. I am no nutritionist but maybe it is related to your exercise? Good thing that you took a nap in stead of overeating!

    @kirsten11872 - That is terrible that you lost your post! It has happened to me on occasion as well. The MFP platform has it limitations!

    @ljdanny - So nice that you got to babysit yesterday and the baby slept enough that you got some things done as well! If you do go to the bar, remember to make a plan!
