Fantastic Friday - Fav Restaurant Foods
I don’t really have a typical order when I go out to eat. My husband and I are pretty adventurous eaters so I like to try new things when we go out. Greek food my be my current favorite. Fresh poke in Hawaii was also amazing.
I also love Chinese food. It’s part of why I run lol4 -

🗣Comments/Goals: I had some pretty bad DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) today and last night mostly my legs/glutes from squats and lunges (kept me up during the night too--every time I moved UGH). I did light strength training (body weight, light kettle bell, TRX and band work) and a spin class...so my steps are low (and snowed here today so no walk with Goldie).4 -

I feel for you Nancy because I know you go hard every day. I hope you are doing post workout stretches and nutrition to speed your recovery. First thing I do when I get home from pickleball or a workout is fix a protein shake with at least 30 mg of protein (my first meal for the day), get down on the floor and do stretches and then the foam roller on my legs. Then I ice my knees or other aching joints for 30 mins. Also I eat a handful of walnuts (rich in omega-3 fatty acids to reduce inflammation for quicker recovery). I know for me, this really helps.2 -

I’m totally with you on time management- I have adult ADD, no H here🤣😂 Reading all of these posts and trying what I want to comment on. I’m on the mfp beta team and I’d like them to change it so when you comment on posts, it’s like it is on News Feed. It would be soooo much easier to comment on an individual post and to read the comments on your own post so no one misses anything!0 -

We bought these new shirts for work and when they arrived I didn’t realize it was a fitted women’s style in a spandex type material. It fit like a sausage casing and I haven’t worn it ever.
Today I thought I would try it and it slipped on comfortably with no clinging!
Although I feel like I haven’t made any progress in the last few months, it’s amazing to have a little tangible evidence that I’m on the right track.

Changing up my weekly goal a little bit. I hope this is okay. I originally had gym workout 5 of 7 days a week. I've changed that to just "workout" because it has been impossible for me to get to the gym this week. I've got a lot going on with family and a good friend in the hospital.
