Tried not to overdo it on Thanksgiving but that flew out the window once the desserts came out. Did Ok the rest of the week though!
Steps:
Sat 11/30: 8,387
Sun 12/1: 10,186
Really did not do too much over the long weekend! Low stepping for me. Last night drove my daughter somewhere and the streets are a sheet of ice so I'm sure I won't get out today either but hopefully I can do something active.2 -

Letβs slay it team! Canβt wait to start Motivation Monday! This came from our amazing motivator Kai! She is my inspiration. She has already hit her goals for the year by loosing 100 pounds and plus. She came up with this inspiring December challenge!
What gets in my way is myself! I am so thankful to have my amazing team to lean into. Or when I am feeling lazy, we are human π, I think of my goals and responding back to the team.
Family has left besides my Sister-in-law, trying to have her join our group! She was excited π hearing through Thanksgiving of what we were doing as a team. She knows I like to hike so Motivational Monday! Sun βοΈ rise hike before she flys out.
You all are an inspiration to me daily! Ty!3 -
I haven't done an intro in a while -
I'm Erin, 40-something year old wife and stay at home mom of 4 kids ages 8-16, living in Minnesota. Used to be somewhat of a runner but about a year ago I injured my hamstring and am still trying to get running to feel good again I try to at least go for short runs and walk my dogs (2 golden retrievers), plus I play tennis and go to Orangetheory so I'm generally pretty active. I joined this group in February after finally getting serious about losing weight in January and I wanted to keep the momentum going. I love how active this group has become!5 -
GOOD MORNING

THAT BEING I USE FRIENDLY FIRE IN MY WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY.. I TAKE ME AND ONLY ME INTO SOME VERY PLACES AND SITUATION WITH FOOD/EXERCISE MORE TIMES THAN NOT.
TO SOLVE THIS DILEMMA I PLAN TO FOLLOW MY GOALS TO A TEE.. I HAVE SEVERAL DOC APPOINTMENTS THIS WEEK AND I NEED TO SHOW THE DOC'S AND MARCIE AND THE BOYS THAT I HAVE TURNED THIS VESSEL AROUND...GOT IT POINTED IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION AND THAT THE THROTTLES ARE UP AGAINST THE STOPS.

December Team Challenge - Motivation Monday:
I am motivated by the muscle tone I have built, but I am not happy with the added fat bulk....
What gets in the way?
Celebrations and weekends...hands down are my weaknesses... I need to stick to a plan of not over indulging so I can shed my bulk and see what I am working so hard for in the gym.
I can SOOOO relate!1 -
tuffgirl19 wrote: Β»Motivation Monday:
My motivation is to be consistent with strength training.
What gets in my way? I think I have all this time in the day and it gets away from me, then Iβm tired. I think I need to schedule a time window early in the day and get it done.
So true!!!1 -

Motivation Monday:
What motivates me? How much more active that I have become. I love that the other day I could take three 30 minute plus walks with my husband.
What gets in my way? Myself, somedays I get the I don't want to, or I don't have time. And sometimes my health gets in the way because MS is a pain like that. When I get in my own way I try to push through and get it done. When it's the MS or being sick I try to give myself a break and not use it as an excuse to overeat or do less than I really can. It can be a bit of a balancing act.1 -
Check in for 12/1
Stay under my calorie goal (currently 1740) β 1643
Get 5,000 steps a dayβ 1,700 Sick day with fever so I took it easy.
No eating out β
Exercise for at least 20 minutes a day. β
No caffeine after 1pm (my dr's suggestion for sleep issues) β
