Motivation Monday
Never wanting to do long term dieting again- NEVER AGAIN
Health benefits & excellent labs
100’s of NSV’s (fitness, flexibility, ease of clothes shopping, sleep better, proud of overcoming my personal challenge: eating too much) which gives tons of confidence, less fear of the future, etc.)
What might get in the way? Tragedy, but if that happens I WILL seek help this time.
Tasty Tuesday
Nutritional goals: same as I have now.
35-40% mostly healthy fats
40-45% carbs, mostly not starches
15-20% protein, lean, and tons from non-meat sources
Minimum 2L water per day
Very little sugar
What might get in the way? If I don’t keep groceries stocked.
Visiting family gets in the way but that is rare. Social events (also rare as I try to suggest non-food get together) get in the way, but I hope to make more progress on this...longterm.)
Wicked Wednesday
Fitness goals: Keep what I have & add more wt lifting
What might get in the way? Fear of getting sick at the gym during flu season (I’m Immuno-suppressed)
Way around it: use my bands and weights at home...2 -

My negative thoughts that others will not understand me. I grew up overweight the majority of my childhood and took the weight off. I still struggle. I still push hard and don’t appreciate others that are negative. It’s hard, we are in this together! Protect yourself from this! I care about my character and integrity.
Let’s be kind to our own self talk. Hey! I am going to keep with my goals and start with daily gratitudes and giving grace and love!

Not at the moment. I have been nursing my afternoon twinings black current black tea for the rest of the evening the last couple days. I made a cold 911 the other day because I was feeling a little off, and made regular Tetley when my father in law came for dinner. More than 60 types of tea but he wanted tetley, and it was actually a nice change of pace.

Now you would think for someone that was up and moving for 20 hours out of 24 in a day would find time to meditate for 15 minutes today. The day was here and gone before I realized that I did not meditate. I need to set my intentions better and make time. On the other hand I did do a 7 mile hike today and I have always considered that as part of my meditation with nature.4 -

Great news @megnolia82!! I thought the strips start to burn after a while, maybe I’m thinking of the stuff in the trays😆🤣 You are going to be all nice and fit with super white teeth!

Everyone is really moving and shaking here. (So inspiring) I’m am anxious girl this morning. Ready to hit my morning coffee and workout but I have lab work this morning so I’m laying low. I’ll get a workout later in today and some walking on my break.
