Getting back on track after the long weekend! January is always such a struggle for me, it feels like the Monday of the year and I'm having a hard time with my mood....Luckily it is almost over and I have some exciting things in the coming months to look forward to! My biggest concern right now, is that the wedding I am in is now only 3 months away!!!!! My friend's engagement last January honestly sparked my journey to get healthy knowing that I would be in her wedding and didn't want yet another event where I was unhappy with how I looked and felt. I really need to kick it back into gear and try to get as close to goal as I possibly can before the wedding! EEK

Not amazing progress, but considering where I was on the scale after the long weekend, I am pleased with this! This weekend I plan to stay on track no matter what. We are having a lowkey weekend so it should be easy to do! I am super committed to that plan because next weekend I am away for a bachelorette party!! I am so excited, but I am learning to pick and choose my battles. I need to be strict on plan this weekend so that next weekend I can release the reins a little bit. Not every weekend needs to be a free for all and i need to remember that!2 -

So I have been feeling guilty lately about the lack of coaching and motivation on my part for this group. I want to commit next month to making our group a little more interactive and supportive! Hi Team! Just wanted to take a moment to say that we are having the most drop offs in this challenge, as in team members who don’t weigh in two weeks in a row so are removed! We are close to losing SIX more team members! We are at a severe disadvantage in team size in comparison to the other teams! If we lost these member this week, we are about HALF the size as every other team in this challenge.
So mainly I need to know what resonates with you guys. What gets you participating and checking in here? And rememebr this is about being accountable to yourself first and foremost!!
That being said, these folks will be removed from the team if they don’t weigh in by tomorrow night!

Don't get discouraged jwall309 - if we're at a disadvantage from a team perspective for January, we still have the same opportunity for the individual weekly winners. This is only my 2nd month doing this challenge so I'm not sure if they rebalance the teams again in Feb but either way, that's not going to slow me down from pushing ahead with my goals.

I'm pretty confident this is water weight as the Taco Soup my wife made last night was really good but also high in sodium as I was nearly 1.5 lbs less on Thursday. I'll look at this as a chance to get a big drop next week.4 -

Another check✅ on my bucket list 💪🏽,completed my first half marathon this morning. No excuses, did it with a Injured knee Nonstop, slow and steady wins the race,

For some reason I cannot get out of this 5lb fluctuation. However, I am putting things in place AND in motion to start seeing actual results. Between walking everyday on my lunch and after work, I have also coordinated with some of the women I work with to exercise together weekly. I am also (slightly) modifying my diet - I can’t go hardcore, I know I won’t sustain it; but I also know small changes make big differences in the long term. I will get there. I know I will. I also count it as a positive that I have not gone above and beyond my starting weight - that is also a win, in my book. Happy losing everybody!3 -
