Well I have completely fallen off the wagon of the mini challenges, but I have tried to track my steps on the spreadsheet. I know tracking food makes a big difference for me, so I have to get back on that. I work out and run (did a 15k on Saturday) but for me it's all food and drink that keeps the weight on. Perhaps March will be better!

Hi all,
I can’t believe it’s been a week since my mom had her stroke. It seems a lot longer. She was in ICU for most of that time, but she is doing better and they have moved her to rehab. She now has to regain mobility on her left side. Thankfully she has a strong spirit and is willing to work hard.
But a week of crappy sugary food and coffee killed my diet. I’m going to have to work hard to get back to where I was just a week ago. Sorry for the bad numbers 😟

I ended up calling out of work today. I woke up with a fever and really bad body aches. I slept more than usual, and am starting to feel better. I have been keeping my food logged, but I am doing HORRIBLE today! I am currently 100 calories shy of my daily goal... I just cannot stop eating. I figured I would post now, knowing that I won't be under for the day! The positive for the day is that I have scheduled a physical with a new doctor, and am shockingly looking forward to it, even if it is in April! I am working in getting all my records sent, and am excited to see what kind of improvement I have on paper!3 -

This month was definitely a big learning month for me! Instead of turning to food to make me happy, I’ve been turning to non food related activities. I am out of the mini challenge for the week... turns out I DO have the flu(ugh!). I'm out of work the next two days(essentially until Monday), with a nice mix 0f prescriptions to take, and some rest ordered! I've gotten just over 2k steps, and I can already tell I've overdone it today. I just want to feel better... 😪4
