    Happy Monday all!

@cmhubbard92 Thanks for the reminder about 4/30... not sure how I missed that day. I updated the spreadsheet with all of my steps, but just for consistency below is my mini challenge info for that day as well as the weekend.

    4/30
    Tracking: yes
    Within calories: yes
    Exercise: yes
    Steps: 13,007

    5/2
    Tracking: no
Within calories: I don't know for sure since I didn't track, but my guess would be yes
    Exercise: yes
    Steps: 12,849

    5/3
    Tracking: yes
    Within calories: yes
    Exercise: yes
    Steps: 19,300

My outdoor HiiT/Bootcamp with my neighbors is still going strong. We are switching things up everyday and it is great! I burn a consistent 300-400 calories with each work out, which I am happy with. A lot of the neighbors kids have been joining as well and my 15 daughter has consistently been participating as well! I can't convince my huband or son (age 13) to participate though. :s I will say, it is one of the few things I will miss about the quarantine!

I did great last week with no drinking wine at home during the week (a glass or two of wine is really my weekness). That is one thing that quarantine has not been good for, but I was successful with my goal last week and am keeping the same this week. Probably could stand to cut back some on the weekend too though. :D

@jmalderman thank you for updating the spreadsheet! Awesome job over the weekend, and I am glad you still have a good workout group! Maybe you guys will still be able to find a time/day each week you will be able to continue workouts when this is over! Also, kudos to you for cutting down the wine, too!

I printed and filled out this habit tracker for this month. I have seen a couple different ones on another challenge I am doing. I think it will be a good visual for hitting different goals throughout the month. If you want to make one of your own, I just googled "printable circle habit tracker " and browsed until I found this! Just an idea I thought to share with the group! :)

I looooooooooooove this! I am looking for more challenges. Can you suggest one for me?

@Krysless2 right now I am doing the Hogwarts Weight Loss Challenge, we are halfway through the 8 week challenge, but I am sure they are still accepting new members! Search for Hogwarts Weight Loss Challenge Term 29, and it has a little link to apply for the challenge in the group description!

I was also thinking we could do a group challenge outside of this... maybe with exercise challenges and other challenges, but that would take a little work to get started... I would definitely be interested in that, though!

@krysless2 Thanks for the advice. I use a heart rate monitor for my workouts to get a better estimate for my workouts and I usually watch my sodium, except my cheat meal. I think I'm going to get a food scale for Mother's Day, that will help me be more accurate on my logging.

@cmhubbard92 I love your tracker!! I keep a bullet journal type habit tracker but its not nearly as cute.

    Sat 5/2
    Tracking: yes
    Calories: no
    Exercise: no
    Water: 64oz

    Sun 5/3
    Tracking: yes
    Calories: yes
    Exercise: 26min stretching
    Water: 96oz

For the weekly discussion, the only award in my mind is new clothes!! Which I'm sure most of us will need when we reach our goal weights 😄

Tomorrow is my oldest's birthday! She's turning 10 and double digits is a big deal so she's bummed she can't celebrate how she'd like because quarantine but we're still hoping to make it a special day for her with cake and dinner from her favorite restaurant. Plus I'll need a margarita since it's also cinco de mayo 😉🍹

Exercise: yes 21 Day Fix day 2 (Upper Fix - 30 minutes) and one puppy walk (~40 minutes)
    Water: 120
    Steps: 12,542 (currently)

    Goals:
    9,000+ steps? ✔
    21 Day Fix: ✔
    Prepared Lunch? ✔
Only 1 Snack after dinner? ✔

I made a little chart for my workout today. I kept count to myself and told my boyfriend the count after each exercise. He filled it in for me and I was able to see improvement (he got a little lost on paper and filled in different spots!) I was happiest with my improvement with scissor crunches!
    l2qaqd5a4bt4.jpg

And here is my progress doing 21 day fix. My hips are the only "guess" because my measuring tape wasn't long enough 😬 Anyways, exciting difference in the waist!

    Tracked: Yes

I've been consistently low on protein, which is something that a nutritionist told me I needed more of to feel full longer. So, yesterday I tried a chocolate Premier Protein shake (from Costco) for lunch and it really filled me up and gave me the protein I needed. Plus, it tasted good. I think it helped me stay under calories.

Happy birthday to your daughter! It sounds like you have special plans for her, which will make it fun even in quarantine. I will also be having a margarita tonight; I am zooming with some old friends from college.

My award for reaching my goal weight will also be clothes!! I have not been buying very many since I put on weight and so my closet is very limited.

Trying to get ready for the summer swim season. June-October I try to swim a mile every couple days. But the lap pool is still closed, so I’m using our pool to start, but it’s small. 4-5 strokes and I have to turnaround. I got dizzy and only got in 600 yards.
