Check in: Friday
Food: Not good
Water: At least got my 64 in
Exercise: 30 min walk, PT and stretching
Ok-MUCH better mood today. I don't know what that was about Lol! I am going to just start where I am at and not try to be where I was before this whole thing started. This weekend I am going to concentrate on eating healthy, not snacking, water and exercise. I can do that for 2 days right? Hope you all are having the lovely weather we are having here in Philly! Enjoy the weekend everyone!
@Mrsbell8well You couldn't have picked nicer weather to be away! Enjoy!
@tryingagain5 I am in the same boat with the eating. They say most of weight loss is the eating so we need to get it together. You really are doing good with exercising. Just try to start from where you are at and make small changes to get back to where you were. I am using this weekend to reset and do the same. I can't keep going up.
@CassieGetsFit2013 Awesome walk!! I would be careful with how many calories you eat back though. Sometimes calories burned are over estimated.
@nstephenson01 That pic is just as good as Angelinas! That looks delicious! Yum! Now I am hungry lol!
@Freeglerock I guess everyone has been having the crazy spring weather. We have been colder than usual too. Not today though. What a nice bike ride you had yesterday, I love how you have the whole family involved. You are leading by example for them to have a healthy life style. I love how your company is taking the safe route with returning to work. That is what is going to work in the long run.

Down 1.2!! I tried posting my weigh in a few hours ago but it said community wasn't available at this time. Glad it's working now though7 -
@Zumba_Luvah Great loss!
Wow - I missed so much over one day. Yesterday was great but emotional. Our seniors got their caps and gowns yesterday, and I was able to be there to help take pictures. As they drove through the pick-up line, they stopped, put their caps on, and we took their pictures while they were still in their cars. It was awesome getting to see so many of my kiddos, but it also magnified how much I've missed them and simply going to work every day. There were tears, for sure.
Food wise, I did okay on calories, but I DID have 2 slices of pizza that our principal ordered. Oh well. Junk every now and then won't completely derail me.
Today I'm going to do a walking video and my ab and butt challenge exercises. My state has gone into phase 1 reopening, so we're hanging at a friend's house around their fire pit (separate-ish but together). They want to order out, so I'm going to have to be careful about food choices. Instead of being scared of takeout, I'm trying to see it as a challenge for making good choices.
Finish strong this weekend! Keep making those good choices and stay true to your goals!5 -

I was going to skip posting today because I can’t seem to get back on track and I’m continuously moving in the wrong direction, and just feel so shameful about it. When I was younger I could eat what I want and excercise and be ok, not anymore. I really need to start tracking my calories again.
I had my three month check up with my oncologist and there’s another lump, but he thinks it’s from the last biopsy they performed, so we will be watching that. I have to go for a cat scan in June to check the nodules on my lungs. I’m a little nervous about everything. I’m also waiting to get on a lower dose of Effexor to try to wean off of it but the insurance company doesn’t want to pay for it.
I need to catch up on everyone’s posts, I hope everyone’s doing well. I’m going to try to do that later tonight or tommorow, but today I’m trying to get my gardens planted before the rain sets in this week!8 -

Hello all! Hope all is well! I have not been on much.
I’m up this week, but I’m ok with it, thought it was going to be worse. I’ve been off my game. The last couple of days I’ve been better with my eating, that’s probably why I’m not up as much as I thought.
It’s a beautiful day here in NJ! Going to my cousin’s house to sit outside & social distance together.
Have a wonderful weekend!😊🥰🌺☀️🌸2 -
Friday check in
This is a quick one as it is too nice outside. Yesterday was a good day. I ate on plan, drank 2 l water and went for a quick walk. The weather is so nice today so I went for a 5 km walk early. We are expecting a lot of rain over the next two days, so I have to enjoy this one! Have a great weekend everyone!
We have to wear masks when out, particularly in stores, so just received some new, cute ones from Etsy:

Reminder to all steppers, please post all of your steps tomorrow (Sunday) for Sunday, May 10th to Saturday, May 16th.

Walking on the beach is good for the soul. 🌻
Hubby braved the wait for the barbershop this morning (it's insane now that our shops are open again) meanwhile I went for a walk. Browns Bay is my favourite place in the world, I wouldn't even hazard a guess at how many kilometers I have walked in total along this beach in the past 20+ years!

Weigh in Week 3
Weigh in day: Sunday
PW 256.1 (116.2 kg)
CW 255.2 (115.8 kg)
Loss of 0.9 lb / 400 grams.7 -
Check in: Sat 16th
Food: logged and under (using some exercise cals)
Water: ok
Exercise: 1hr BodyPump
Did a Body pump class yesterday (at home). Was concerned that I may not have pushed myself enough afterwards as couldn't "feel" it. But, wow, on waking this morning I certainly feel achy. Think I may have today as a rest day, but may do something low impact/stretching later - see how I feel. Another day on the allotment today - did not achieve as much as I wanted yesterday, everything was so slow!
Have a great Sunday everyone!7 -
Check in for Sunday.
After my walk this morning I finished the day with over 15,000 steps. That's the most I've done in quite some time!
I had to go shopping for some smaller exercise pants this afternoon, bought two pairs in size L or an NZ 14 (US 10). Surprisingly I don't hate the photos I took in the fitting room - I feel much bigger in my head, but I have photos of me in changing rooms looking way bigger than these photos look. But I've been in an 18 for ages now, it will take some getting used to losing sizes again. I'm 9.4 kg down overall, which is a little over 20 lbs in 3 months. It feels slow because a lot of that was in the first month.
Food is under, water is good. Walk was 6km, plus I did 20 mins on the spin bike this afternoon.
Have a good day everyone. 🙂6 -

@1theresamcvean i have family all over Canada but in the summer some of us come together in Nova Scotia because that's where my family is from. My dad is from Millville and my moms sister loved it down there that she moved to Baddeck 40 something years ago. The shooting was devestating, it was all over my facebook feed but my family was safe. PEI is pretty i remember going as a child.
My steps were pretty good most days. My sister and niece came over yesterday for some social distance food and drinks. it was good to see them. today looks like its going to rain at some point but i think i might be able to get out for a little walk first. i feel like i should be doing something. my hairdresser text me yesterday said i can come in on the 31st for a root touch up and cut, she said she can't do my magenta, i didn't have the heart to tell her i did it. i will get some more stuff though and do it again because who knows when i can get back to a regular appointment. i would love the nail salons to open i could really use a pedi. some restaraunts are opening tomorrow for outdoor seating, most of them you need to have a reservation. i want to try to get one for friday because there is an acoustic group playing that is really good. even if you only get to go for about an hour it's still something. dinner, a drink, and music in the open air sounds great.5 -
@xX_PhoenixRising_Xx You look so peaceful and happy on the beach! It's so great your favorite place is so close. And nice loss too!
@Freeglerock I liked Body Pump when I went to my old gym. Always felt sore but very strong afterward.
The scale isn't going the direction I'd like, but I'm recognizing that life outside of lockdown will require me to be a lot stronger in my food choices. Yesterday we went to a friend's house and ate outside. They ordered from Wayback burger - these huge cheeseburgers. I asked for a salad, then took the burger patty off the burger and added it to the salad. I was sure I'd get teased, but the only person who said anything was Hubs, who said he was proud of me. (So yay!)
I also just got in from a run and actually RAN mile 1 and 3 unbroken. I usually do intervals. This time, it was run a mile, walk a mile, run a mile. I've never had the endurance before to do that.
Wednesday is still a few days away, but even if I don't end up with a loss, I have a couple of wins.
Find your "Win" from this week, and use it to propel you into this week!7 -

Check in: Saturday
Food: On plan!
Water: 80 oz
Exercise: 40 min walk, PT and stretching
I had a good day yesterday. I stuck to my plan but did have a few drinks for my nieces BD. I am happy with how the day went for a change. We had friends stop over unexpectedly so we sat out back (socially distant) with them for a while. Then went to my sister in laws for my niece's BD(also socially distant) and then came home and played zoom quizzo with some of my kids and nieces which was fun. I think I needed a day of having fun with people other than Jim and the girls. I have to run, I am going for a walk with Shannon in a few minutes. Happy Sunday everyone!
@Zumba_Luvah Nice loss! Hope all is going well
@GingerPwr I do feel sad for the students and teachers. It was a nice tribute to do the drive by with the pictures. It does seem like the schools are trying to find a way to still make this time special. Hope you enjoyed the social distancing with your friends and was able to make a wise choice with the take out. You have just really been doing awesome so I am sure you did!
@timitbotkin When you feel like you shouldn't post is when you probably need support and should be reaching out. Look at me, I also am having a hard time getting back on track. You aren't alone. We do have very successful people on our team but we also have people that struggle. We just need to show up for ourselves and take one day at a time. Make one little change that you can be consistent with, maybe increase your water or not snack after a certain time-anything that would work for you. Maybe just come on here and check in daily. You don't have to comment to everyone, just tell us what you are doing. Also please don't feel ashamed. You are going through a tough time and can't seem to catch a break. I can understand why you would be nervous about everything. I think that is natural given the circumstances. I also think a little angry with the insurance company. Remember to be kind to yourself. Sure, you gained this week and you aren't happy with how the week went but I know you had amazing steps every day. So give yourself credit for that. I am sure if you look you will find other things to. This week, continue those and find another small change to make. You got this! Let's have a great week xoxo
@kirsten11872 I am glad that you aren't beating yourself up over this gain. Sounds like you are reining in the eating and that is good. Maybe add in some exercise, I know you are use to killer workouts but maybe start small like a quick walking video or get outside for a little for a walk. Exercise doesn't have to be a long, drawn out process. I hope you had fun at your cousins. It is nice to be able to see people outside and still keep social distancing.
@Cafelelia You have really been doing great lately! Love the mask too! I was going to make masks and just never got to it. I did order a few boring ones off of esty (plain black), maybe I should make a realistic plan with this too and just buy a few cute ones Lol!
@xX_PhoenixRising_Xx Nice loss! And Beautiful picture! You looks so relaxed and happy! I hear from everyone who has traveled to NZ that it is the most beautiful place they have ever been. From the pictures you share, it really is! What a nice feeling having to go in and buy a smaller size! That can definitely keep the momentum going!
@KUMEcyclingteam That is impressive! My butt gets numb after 8-10 miles on a regular bike! I am glad you enjoyed it. I assume fat biking is when you have the fat tires and are on trails?
@Freeglerock Well, it does sound like you pushed yourself hard enough! Lol! Hopefully you aren't too sore. Enjoy gardening at the allotment today!
@annliz23 Hope all is going well. Great steps this week!
@ljdanny You have been doing great! Those steps for the week are amazing. It sounds like things are starting to open up there. We haven't changed except parks and golf courses. It would be nice for things to safely get back to normal.

Yep, 80% of weight loss happens in the kitchen. I definitely need to get it together.😊 Doing pretty well so far today, even had an apple this morning. Now just to keep it up. I (we) can do it. I'm doing my best to reset today as well.
I've always done better with the exercise part so that isn't anything ne for me. I don't know why I have so much trouble with the food part, I think it's just that I like to eat but like you said I can't keep going up. I've worked so hard at losing what I did and really don't want to have to lose so much all over again. I still have 50ish pounds to lose, I don't want to make it more.

@xX_PhoenixRising_Xx
Nice pic! Doesn't look like there will be a walk for me today or tomorrow. It's raining now and the forecast is for rain tomorrow too. Supposed to get several inches of rain.
No barbershops or salons are open here yet, although a couple of them have opened despite the governor's stay at home order. She actually didn't have the authority to extend it past 28 days without others voting on it but she did it anyway. One of the barbers got his license suspended for being open but the sherriff in that county isn't enforcing it because the stay at home order isn't a law, so he's not breaking any laws. He's wearing a mask and cleaning in between clients, etc.
Hopefully more things can open soon.2 -
@timibotkin
Don't feel ashamed of your struggle with having a hard time getting back on track. I'm having the exact same trouble. I know what to do, just having a hard time doing it. I've been gaining too and I need to stop.
We can both get back on track. One step at a time. I had a dietitian once tell me to make what she called advantage cards. Write down the reasons you want to lose weight and to look at and read them several times a day as reminders.
She also told me to give myself credit for the things that would get me to my goals. It didn't even have to be anything big. You can give yourself credit for something small, for example you drank more water today than you did yesterday. I see you posted your steps. 98,000 steps for the week! Give yourself credit for that because I find that impressive!
You(we) can do it!
I understand you being nervous about what's going on with your health. I'll keep you in my prayers.3 -
