    Happy Saturday, folks!

Hope you're all having a great weekend! It's a gorgeous day here in Worcestershire, UK, so everything seems possible.

As it's Saturday, I will spend an indulgent hour or so engrossed in a magazine after lunch. I may also spend a little time finishing up a project that I didn't complete during the week. And sewing a few more face masks - I'm experimenting with a new design. Other than that, hubby and I will most likely chill and recharge our batteries this weekend.

Wishing you all a happy weekend! :)

@FatSlayer1016 I’ve been a bit absent from writing this month but please know that your account inspired me to start contributing again. Thanks for your willingness to bring all of your feelings and thoughts to the table. You give me permission to do the same.

    A poem for today:
My stress is up, as is my weight.
This teetering see-saw is one that I hate!
My behavior betrays me so, everyday I will, “Intend then Attend“, as Madelyn would say.

Now it’s time to get the recycling done. Have a good day, y’all!

    LTD: 4kg

More or less stayed the same this week. I had two bad days, a few average and a few good days which probably all evened out!

Hopefully next week will be better!

Quick question - when we put our loss to date, is that LTD this month/ since being in this group/ since starting losing? 4kg is what I have lost since restarting MFP in late July, but have only been on this group since September. I think I've lost 1kg since starting this group.

LTD is your total loss since your highest weight, or whichever point you want to pick. It is used mostly to celebrate milestones, so you pick!

    Happy Saturday!
It is beautiful here too, @YinxFed and I hope you are having a lovely time relaxing and recharging. I will be out trying to find the right flooring for the room I painted. So far, as usual, the tall guy and I cannot agree on anything...

I know our official celebration day is tomorrow when all the tallies are in, but since we have been chatting a lot about the challenging times when things are NOT going well and the weight is faithfully sticking by us, I just want to send up a few happy dances we have had so far this week -

All three of our top losers from last week have lost again this week! I particularly want to highlight that because it is so common to bounce back after a week with a fairly significant loss. Our bodies go through a little panic and slam on the brakes, or we "reward" ourselves with some extra treats, or stress happens and the previous week's hard work goes out the window. Well, not this time! Extra congratulations to the three of you for building on the momentum - aim for a third week! Everyone else is inspired by you
    @PlaneMonkey @happimess01 @lovethyneighbor

Also hitting a second week of losing are - more may be added to this list by the end of the day!
    @conleywoods @Steph1498 @kali225 @Gidgitgoescrazy

Share your ideas on what worked for you - tips for anyone wanting to be just like you! Hats are off!

@micki48 my step goal is 8,500 steps a day. I'm soooo behind on reading posts, I just haven't been able to get here to the forum everyday!

Hi Everybody. I loved reading all your answers to the 'What is Different About This Time" question. For me, it's the walking challenges. I had become a bit lazy and stopped using my Fitbit. It's been fun to rediscover it and have a step goal. It really got me out of the house and moving!

Got it in there now! Glad you are liking the walking challenges. I'll have to send you one for this weekend. For me, I often don't get as many on the weekend. Exhausted! So, it's a challenge to keep it up. So @BaileyCat88 keep that fitbit on. :) Sometimes, we are very chatting here which is a great thing, but feels overwhelming a bit if you haven't been around everyday. Don't worry about catching up. Just chime in moving forward. Look at me responding to you two days later.

I love seeing all the loses! Great job team. I have a lot of little things to do around the house this weekend. I need to go shopping and meal prep for the week. I already got in my Barre workout and I got on the elliptical since it is too smokey to walk outside. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

I am out of town this past week. The food is amazing here at the resort and isn't it so nice that they have a scale in the room. I think it is to weigh the luggage but I don't know. So I did weigh myself this Wednesday just wasn't able to post it.

I will have my work cut out for me when I get home this Monday. But oh the food is so worth it.

@offitgoes What state or country are you visiting? Sounds like you're having a good time! Enjoy!

    Sunday weigh in
    PW - 182.5
    CW - 183.7

Despite the gain, I feel quite positive about this new week. Yesterday I completed the 12 week Heather Robertson challenge and I'm glad I did. I'm a lot stronger now and have better endurance (I can even do proper push ups now!) However, 12 weeks is a LONG time. I'm glad I stuck it out, but I'm looking forward to doing changing up my workouts.

This week's workouts: Monday - Dance, Tuesday - Strength, Wednesday - Walk, Thursday - Dance, Friday - Strength, Saturday - Walk.

And yesterday I managed to drink 64oz of water! This is such a big deal for me as I struggle to drink enough water each day. I'm going to try to keep this up for all of this week!

We're having a quiet Sunday - wishing you all peace and relaxation.

    Happy Sunday, Team.

I've been having such a hard time logging into MFP and accessing the Community board... Uninstalled, reinstalled and still having trouble. I sent a note to the support team, hopefully that works.

@Micki48 my steps last week are nothing to write home about. For whatever reason I'm not able to upload the screenshot of my steps either 😣 so here we go:

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I had a productive one for sure. Friday I got some house work done and my workout. Then we spent the afternoon at the lake. Saturday and Sunday have been heavy smoke and no outside time at all. I have done lots of laundry and gotten my workouts in both days.

I also got to meal prep which I haven't really done since before covid. I made chicken curry in my instant pot. I also made rice and oven roasted broccoli, bok choy, bell pepper, zucchini and red onions. It turned out great and I have my lunches done for the week.

The plan for the next 4 days is to workout 2 mornings and rest 2 mornings. I will just set my alarm and see how I feel each day. Sometimes I'm up before my alarm and sometimes I need more sleep. Leaving it flexible usually works well for me. Dinners are kind of planned. I have lots of food but the recipes I shopped for got a little mixed up during the power outage. Some of my ingredients got used for something else so I will be creative and get through the next few days.
